the samsung washer did not last 3 years. it stopped working. samsung has discountniued making parts to fix the machine. there is no way repair a machine that is only 3 yrs old!! samsung is not taking responsibilty. and they will not offer any discount to buy the next washer. dumping samsung products and moving on to lg.

i am super ocd about taking care of my things. i ran the self-clean cycle before the machine indicated to do so and at the same time did a rebalance. cleaning performance was good. however, one over weighted load broke a machine that was less than 2 years old. apparently, i put in too many towels. i would understand if i had to remove some towels and then continue the wash cycle, but, no it's completely broken. calling for service in miami was quite an ordeal. you would think in a large metropolitan city we would have lots of samsung repair people, however, the closest location is fort lauderdale. supposedly, the motor has a 5 or 10 year warranty, but it's not honored. no more samsung products for me!

we have had problems since day 1. first they kept sending the wrong product. then 7 months after we finally ordered it, we got it. it wouldn't spin, leaks, and gets stuck and continues running doing nothing for hours. we had them come out numerous times to fix it. never did work correctly. a complete waste of money. do not buy.

after 1 year and 1 week my warranty was up and of course the machine breaks down. error code c3 (motor defect) i only have me and my husband to do laundry for so this machine does not see a lot of action. i am heard samsung was the "better quality" brand to buy. also more expensive. i will not recommend samsung to anyone. their customer service was really good at least. my last washer which was an lg lasted 10 years before i had any kind of issues. should of stuck with what i knew worked.

Bought this washer 1 year and 2 months ago. Have been waiting for 2 weeks for the repair. Repairmen for Samsung are very hard to find. And the one we found is less than impressive. If I had know it would tear up so soon after buying it and that repairing would be this difficult I would have left it sitting. As it is I will not ever never have another. It has worked fine up until 2 weeks ago when I found water all around the washer. After you pay for a product like this you expect a little more life out of it than 14 months.

We purchased this Samsung washer because we had one previously and it was a great washer, so far this washer is working as well if not better that the last one and the features are very easy to understand and use.

This replaces a 15+ year old washer, and the new features and increased capacity are very welcome! It works well, and has 2 things in particular that I really like - one is that it gives a timer so I know how long until a load is complete. The second is the self cleaning cycle - all washers should have this!
