love my frig. at first i did not want the middle drawer but than read reviews and changed by mind and glad i did. i store my fruits and veggies there as those are my go to snack. love love love the showcase door. comes in handy when it's time for the dogs to eat, open and right there to grab. it is extra but well worth it. one disappointment, it is not finger resistant and i was under the assumption it was. frig was damage upon arrival in the door. samsung is send a new door to replace it instead of replacing the whole thing. there were scratches on the other door when delivered as well, but with the protective cover, they were not there yay!

wow 800 characters isnt enough to describe how horrible this thing is in every possible way. so the cliff notes. ice maker water dispenser wont function properly. frost in places there shouldnt be. doors closing on u when they shouldnt. tries to be trendy but lacks proper function. junk avoid. run. please !!

the in door water pitcher has a known flaw that samsung reportedly has no known plans to fix. the seam in the plastic is right down the middle front of the pitcher resulting in dribling any time you pour water. in order not to make a mess, you have to go over to the sink and pour. if not, you will have water on the floor or in the refrigerator.

there is a reason this model is significantly cheaper than comparable models from other manufacturers. the icemaker froze over repeatedly. what's worse, we endured months of food going bad well before exp date and discovered mold at the bottom of fridge/foul smell. thermometer revealed cooling to 50 degrees as opposed to 33 degrees that it was set to. online research revealed both issues common w this model. samsung sent tech to fix icemaker (no charge) but arrived and discovered seal/cooling system needed repair($357cost), unable to repair the icemaker without making other repair. samsung refused to cover the $357 so cutting our losses and buying a different brand that will last. only samsung we ever owned and will never purchase this brand again.

great refrigerator and enough space for a family of four. temperatures are right on. the ice maker is noisy as it drops ice into the ice holder. i can hear it from two rooms away when the ice drops. the shelving on the vegetable bins is difficult to clean. wish it had more wifi information other than just temperature.

the refrigerator is a very good, very roomy one, but has a questionable ice maker which has been improved in this edition. when i received it, the tray inside the freezer door at teh top was missing a railing, which samsung has agreed to send me in 10-20 business days.
the refrigerator has a door in door feature, useful for drinks, and a water pitcher built in that automatically fills with cold water. very handy. it also has ice and water from a built-in filter. features are very good.

bought a new fridge 6 months ago. this is still the floor model at home depot thats how new it is. started off great but now the ice doesnt work and the tray is frozen shut. i called for service but samsung called me back the day of to cancel and offer me a refund of some sort. i tried to obtain a copy of my receipt with no luck. so moral of the story is im out 3k on a brand new fridge and i have to buy a bag of ice every so often and take up more room in my freezer. ill never buy another samsung product again due to poor product and bad customer service.

we have had the fridge for about 1 month. so far so good. my only complaint is i wish it was a little bigger. our previous fridge was the same outside dimensions, but was 29.8 cubic feet inside. 2 cubic feet makes a huge difference. if the interior had more storage space, then i would have given 5 stars. as long as the ice maker doesn't break then i will be happy.

we have had this fridge for a year and a half and now have to spend $500 to replace the entire ice maker because of a faulty design that apparently is a common issue across samsung models. within the first 6 months we had to have someone come out to fix the ice maker because the basket was frozen into the maker itself and could not be fixed. now the ice maker will not produce any ice and after having a technician out we were told the control board and fan need to be replaced because of a design flaw that allows water to be blown around and ruin the board. never imagined spending 25% of the cost of the fridge within the first 2 years owning it.

every month the ice maker would jam up because ice build up. we successfully cleared the jam and chip the ice out. the last time in the middle of covid quarantine we could not get the tray out, even after running the ice maker defrost cycles. so we used steamer to try and free the tray enough to get it out with no luck. so then we resorted to a hair dryer(which apparently voids the warranty) although there is no warning label and not clearly stated in the owners manual. so after clearing the ice jam we noticed we could not close the ice tray because the liner deformed. so now we are stuck with an expensive refrigerator that cannot make ice as samsung says "it is not repairable." also the water pitcher leaks as you pour including the replacement one that was sent.

reading some of the reviews i was a bit worried, but man i love this fridge so much. the water jug is so handy and we are using the middle drawer to keep drinks super cold. i love the door in door, and we have not had any issues at all with the fridge.

this refrigerator is amazing. it fits everything and then some. i love the sliding shelf so that i can put smaller items in the back and more space for taller items.
it would get stars if the darn water pitcher didn't leak. yes, it is annoying but it doesn't stop me from using it every day. i can only hope that they eventually fix the leak and send new ones out to those of us with the leaky pitcher.

we bought a $3000 fridge. within 48 hrs it broke. i've called multiple times & was transferred to different ppl that said they'd call me back & never did. after ~16 calls & getting transferred from person to person i finally got a tech out here. he took a pic of the serial # & receipt which i provided 3 times & left!
the next day i got a msg from samsung saying it'll offer $1800 to take the fridge back. i say to that, if you can't stand behind your product for not even two days you shouldn't be selling it. i still haven't got this resolved. we have samsung appliances w & d etc. after this i won't buy samsung again!
i work with home owners. if samsung doesn't step up, i might just recommend they not buy samsung!

we've had this fridge for 13 months. immediately after the warranty expired at 12 months, the automatic water pitcher started leaking. they want $100 for a replacement. the ice maker freezes itself solid if tou dont constantly use it, amd we had to get a software update to the fridge to try and thaw it with an internal heater. we are still waiting on that to work. i cannot believe we paid this much for a fridge for it to have this many issues.

owned for 13 months, ice maker failed and froze over after 5 months, there is now a class action against samsung on this unit – this was repaired under warranty.
water jug failed to fill with water and leaks when poured (from day 1) – this was repaired, the jug is a design fault and samsung engineer told me the fix is a rubber band!
13 month later the light fails in the cooler draw and i call samsung to complain and purchase an extended warranty and they would not honor it
if you want to buy a great looking refrigerator and you do not care about purchasing an extended warranty and having an engineer know you on a first name terms along with not caring about awful customer services, then this one's for you.

We didn't want anything too fancy, but wanted something easy to keep organized with plenty of space. This refrigerator did not disappoint, we Bought this fridge about a month ago and LOVE it! The self refilling pitcher is a must have in our house (mysteriously before this, someone always put the pitcher back nearly empty). The flip up shelf and roll back shelf make storing the occasional oversized items quick and easy. We find that having a drawer for snacks, meat & cheese keeps the kids from standing with the doors open trying to decide what they want. Oh and the showcase door is where we keep Milk, OJ, Creamer & sandwich spreads. With this feature we rarely open the main refrigerator doors saving tons of energy. I have already recommended this refrigerator to a few of my real estate clients!

After a few months, the ice maker froze into a solid block of ice. This is due to a default in the way the inbound water line is designed. Required defrost and replacement. Was still under warranty. Of course, customer care never told us we needed to defrost prior to technician visit. Hence a total of 4 weeks without use of the ice maker. We still like the fridge and design, but worried on long-term durability.

favorite feature is the self re-filling pitcher! i really like the center drawer with the option to change the temperature. one peeve is the shelf spacing. i have a large family and we always have multiple gallons of milk, juice, tea, etc and there is not enough vertical space to store them unless the top shelf is pushed up. this renders the top shelf space useless. the shelving on the doors is also a bit odd. other than that, it's seems to be a beautiful and great working fridge.

purchased this back in september. really like all the options. ice maker working fine so far so we will keep fingers crossed. water pitcher started leaking while pouring after first month and we dealt with it. ordered replacement which showed up yesterday and it leaks right out of the box. tried to contact samsung through facebook today. initially no response for 20 minutes. then jon reached out to me. i explained the situation and the only response was to send another pitcher. when i said reading other reviews showed that was not a fix, i never heard back from him. he just left the conversation.

this is a great refrigerator with what appears to be a flawed ice maker design. the ice maker was replaced under warranty after six months of use. now, four months out of warranty we are having issues with the ice maker leaking water, icing up and failing. was able to correct it myself this time but feel that there should be a recall for this issue as i know that may users have experienced this problem.

when the warranty expires, it will make all different problems.
mine was that the ice dispenser door keeps on opens and closes. because of that, it will not dispense water nor ice, and the sound drives me crazy.

I bought this refrigerator directly from the Samsung website and delivered in four days. Shipping was fast and easy, and the delivery guy installed it with no issues. I absolutely love the multi door and window feature, as well as the auto filled water pitcher. Great size and storage space. Would definitely recommend purchasing this refrigerator!

there are many things to love about this refrigerator. the interior layout is excellent. the quality feel of the drawers, doors, etc is all top-notch.
unfortunately, the ice maker falls short compared to the rest. it is so bad that i would not buy any samsung refrigerator again. these are common issues that happen to everyone. lots of youtube videos showing the problems. the ice maker leaks air and that lets in humidity, which then freezes inside. it accumulates so much that you can't remove the ice bucket, and eventually the auger can't turn to dispense ice. you have to put all your food in coolers and defrost the entire fridge for 24 hours just to open the ice maker and clean it out. and the water pitcher leaks when you pour water, making a mess everywhere all the time.

I bought this fridge just over a year ago and didn't have any problems until the warranty expired. The ice maker defrost drain failed. Luckily I purchased an extended warranty from Lowe's and it was covered. This seems to be an ongoing problem with these refrigerators and a longer warranty would have been nice.

First... the positives:
The fridge feels solid. We replaced a 5 year old Fridgidair French Door Fridge/Freezer and this Samsung feels 100 times more solid then our old one. The the adjustable shelves are nice and for once, we can stack at least two large pizza boxes without any issues. There's an auto fill pitcher in the left door where we've had fun infusing water with Lemons, Limes, Raspberries and Strawberries every couple of days. The ice maker cranks our plenty of ice and water comes out cold. Other fridges the water sometimes is room temperature or slight chill at best. Plenty of room in the doors for smaller and more frequently used items. The right side quick access to milk and butter is great!! The fridge can also connect to your WiFi to send you issues and alerts. I'm sent a notification anytime the fridge door is left open and the app can review diagnostics. All in all, we are very pleased we purchased this unit.
The Negatives:
We DID have to call our service as we could not get one of the front leveling legs to adjust. It was seized up HOWEVER service was able to resolve the issue and the fridge is now level. The only other issue we've come across and this is all over their website as others have the same issue, but the auto fill pitcher in the door leaks when poured. We've learned to pour over the sink as the benefit out ways the inconvenience.

We bought this fridge based on the sales person saying how good it was since we were stuck between 2 choices. Wish we went with the other. The ice maker keeps freezing over like water is just flowing and freezing everywhere. Looked on line this is a common issue. The fix is to put silicon between the ice maker unit and the fridge wall to seal up the area. Also other small issues with it.

This refrigerator is so well designed that it uses every inch of interior space. The flex door is great for frequently used items like eggs and cheese and the two stage French door on the top right provides convenient access items in the shelves of the door without fully opening the door. I believe this helps with energy efficiency. I feel the engineers really out did themselves with their thoughtful design features. The speed chill feature is amazing. I couldn't believe how quickly it got to desired temperatures when it was initially delivered. The only disappointing feature is the water dispenser. It would be nice to have auto fill features and I am also surprised how quickly spots form on the press plate and bottom and often it needs to be cleaned. All in all, the other features make up for this shortcoming.
