i have had this refrigerator for about 8 months now and have been mostly pleased with it - the ice and water functions work well and it keeps everything at the correct temperature. it does a great job of managing space and has lots of interior room for the size.
however, the crisper drawers are not sealed and watertight! there is a small gap at the front bottom of the crisper drawers that allow liquid and small particles to pass into that can't be reached with any type of cleaning utensil! i have never had crisper drawers that aren't water tight before! it is a poor design that could easily allow mold or bacteria to grow easily in a spot that could be out of sight.

love the look, counter depth, interior space, led lighting, quiet, efficient ice maker--all positives. the learning curve in storing has taken time. this replaced a side by side so have struggled a bit. the shelves are reasonably adjustable but still working on figuring some of that out. here are the issues: the door shelves that wrap around the ice maker are virtually useless. control by an app? why? useless. finally, and most important, i did not realize that the water filter could not be replaced without shutting off the water. the 16 year old unit i replaced did not require that. a huge disappointment.

due to a delay in our house renovation, our delivered refrigerator was kept in its box to protect it for 1 1/2 months. when we opened it, the refrigerator had 2 small dents on its face. we decided to place 2 magnets on it to hide the dents because we opened the box beyond the 30 day period. however, the ice bucket/basket was missing from the freezer as well and so the ice maker is not making any ice. i contacted customer service so that they could send the missing parts. they insisted that we would have to pay for the missing part. i find that to be ridiculous and bad customer service. obviously, there is a problem with samsung quality control. i will not purchase further samsung products. the fingerprint-less stainless steel is also not as good as lg products.

we purchased this refrigerator from best buy a year and a half ago. everything was great until the last 6 months. periodically, there would be somekind of noise coming out from the dispenser side of the fridge. it sounds like the fridge is having a hiccup, it would continue for a few hours, or a couple days, then it would stop. then it would come back in a couple weeks or so. sometimes the hicup noise is continuous. the noise would stop as soon as i opened either of the doors. the fridge works perfectly fine but the noise is very annoying. i recorded the noise and had the best buy sales listened to it. he said he had never heard of that and has no idea what it is. he only knows its not normal.

i bought this fridge and loved it but in 18 months it broke. i wasn't worried considering it was still under warranty, however samsung techs said they did not have the parts and could not fix it so instead they were giving me store credit for hundreds of dollars less than what the fridge is worth. so now i have to eat out every day because i don't have a fridge and i lost hundreds of dollars of groceries because samsung can't make a product that lasts more than 18 months. if you're going to make a bad product, at least have the customer service to back it up and not make your customers pay for your mistakes.

we have had this about 3 weeks now and i really love it. there is so much more space than my old fridge. the only thing i wish i would have known is that there is supposed to be 3" clearance on each side for the doors to open. one door is too close to the wall and does not fully open, but it still works.

would like everyone to know before buying this unit. i was not aware that the ice maker would be so small. there is no overflow ice that accumulates in the bottom of the unit. it is only in the door.
i did not ask home depot at purchase time because i thought all ice makers dropped ice below as well.
i called h/d and asked the unit to be retrofitted only to never hear back from them again. i googled and discovered it was not modifiable but i'm still hoping it is.
this unit does not make enough ice after filling the door reservoir!

The water dispenser on the front of the fridge drips and will accumulate water on the tray when not in use. Since the tray is mostly a flat service, the water starts running down the front of the fridge.
I have had 3 service tickets from Samsung to repair the fridge. First time the tech replaced the valve for the water line on top of the door which did not work. The second time he replaced the entire water system, which did not work. The third time they noted "no defect found" on the service report said there was nothing more they could do; but the fridge still drips...
I am disappointed that the fridge still leaks and Samsung is washing their hands of the situation. I would not recommend this fridge.

i had this refrigerator for exactly a year now and i own 7 samsung products am convinced not to buy samsung products again.
the refrigerator looks stunning, fits perfect in our space, works like it is supposed to but it is loud. making this loud clicking noise every time its in heating or cooling cycle. sometimes the noises are really loud as if something fell. had a samsung tech come and check and he said that is normal for samsung refrigerants. and recently we started hearing like a vehicle acceleration sound from the compressor.
and forget ordering water filters,in the day and age of overnight and two day shipping and i waited three full weeks and after three phone calls each one over 45 mins and one chat conversation i finally gave up and asked the ordered to be canceled.

overall, the fridge works. purchased on dec 9th, installed on jan 5th. first issue -attempting to adjust freezer/fridge temp. manual doesn't explain panel lock/unlock procedures well. second wifi set-up fails at 39% asks for wifi password, enter the one given to me by smartthings, gives authentication error. started with chat support, completed entire trouble tree checklist, all failed, then referred to a "live person" via phone, did all the steps again all failed i now have a ticket for "expert" to call me in 7-11 business days to assist me with my issue. really frustrating. will update as the situation unfolds...

i purchased the refrigerator about almost three years ago. for the first two years it worked very well. just outside of two years, water started dripping from the ice maker. after time this got worse and the entire ice maker froze solid. i defrosted the ice maker but the problem continued over several months. after reading that this is a common problem online, i reached out samsung support who said we were out of warranty period. i subsequently replaced the ice maker unit myself but the problem continues to persist even though this is known issue with this unit.

Bought this fridge about 6 months ago. Then the ice maker stopped working. Called Samsung for repairs. No Authorized Samsung service in our area. After about 5 weeks dealing w/customer service, Samsung is refunding our money. The fridge has been moved into the garage awaiting pickup. We bought another non-Samsung fridge. This ice maker problem is a known and ongoing problem. I would NOT recommend Samsung fridges to anyone. P.S. @ today, still no $$.

Had an Electrolux for not even 8 years and it started to fail on us. Needed something with counter-depth and could make ice. This fit the bill without needing to spend too much money. Fridge keeps items cold and freezer, too (our last one never hit 0 degrees F really ever)! The stainless steel looks great and there are less fingerprints. Here's to hoping it lasts twice as long as our previous fridge.

I bought this refrigerator about 10 months ago, it has very nice features and you can sync it to your phone though the app to monitor temperature, get alerts if the door stayed open among other things. Only issue I have is that it stopped making ice about a month ago, I've scheduled an appointment for service, hope it's an easy fix.

we had bought other samsung refrigerator, and the compressor keep making so much noise every time it starts. the samsung service is excellent, and you can return at no cost within 15 days. the old fridge has compressor issue, so they offered replacement.
i purchased this counter depth which was little expensive than previous, but totally worth paying $200 extra. this make very little noise, and you hardly notice its running.
cools down quickly and same room as it was in old regular refrigerator. most refrigerator seem quiet in shop, but in open floor plan its much louder. if you are big ice consumer, this takes long time to built little ice.

My new Samsung refrigerator has been a huge upgrade to our home. It has a sleek, stylish design and goes perfectly in my upgraded kitchen! One of my favorite features is the cool select pantry. I am currently using it as a deli draw but looking forward to using the temperature control for other purposes. I also love the adjustable shelves which adds to the versatility of this appliance. I was worried about ordering a counter depth fridge, but it is spacious and I have plenty of room to spare.

So far the refrigerator has functioned as it should. There are really only 2 comments that I can think of 1) the top drawer in the freezer is awkwardly functional meaning that you can put stuff on it but it is not conveniently available and 2) the interior shelves are apparently not adjustable due to the back, center bracket limitations.

have had this fridge for about a month now. I can see almost everything inside at a glance when I open the doors. Things would get lost in my old side by side. The bottom freezer is surprisingly roomy and efficient. I especially like the Samsung ap since I have a habit of not fully closing the door or drawer from time to time. Yay! My phone warns me to close it!! The only thing I don't like about this fridge is the ice maker. The ice cubes are very slow to drop and it requires a little patience. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

We replaced an LG side by side with this one and with only one exception really love it. The one exception is, the bottom tray inside is all the way accross the bottom of the fridge requireing you to open both doors to access this tray. It would have been much better to have this tray split into two seperate bins.

We purchased this over 3 months ago and it looks great and fits everything.
We switched over from a double door to a French door and were very skeptical, but in the end it turned out great.
The racks on the left - near the ice maker could have been just a bit larger to store thing. The freezer's extra set of sliding drawer comes in handy to store items that need continuous access to.

In looking for a new refrigerator I needed to make sure it was "counter depth". Many of that variety I reviewed sacrificed space for counter depth. Samsung stood out as one that realized they could provide both features. The design of my new refrigerator shows just how attuned Samsung is to design and practicality. The internal layout is, without question, a very well thought out design that maximizes the available space into extremely useful areas. Three storage drawers make storage and retrieval of items a no-brainer. To say the least, the inside is spacious, well lit, easily accessible and very easy to keep clean. The freezer drawer is laid out very well with upper and lower storage locations making it easy to keep items separated and easily retrievable. As with the refrigerator, the freezer is of a great design. I am extremely pleased with my Samsung and would recommend it to anyone.

I was looking for a great frig to go in my high end downtown condo. The builder's offerings were over a thousand dollars more and didn't have the features and look that my Samsung has. I've been really happy that I went against the grain on this one.

We bought this refrigerator in November and instantly loved it. We needed a counter depth fridge and those are not easy to find. This one is roomy with enough drawer and door space for everything. And the bottom freezer is a dream.

i bought my 3 door counter depth unit 5 years ago. the ice maker has never worked properly . it no longer maintains a safe temperature and it's not worth $900 to fix.
