Over the years I've purchased most every brand there is in dishwashers by far this cleans worse than the GE I had in the 80's. Last year while I was recovering from chemo, the husband was directed to this model by a sales person and we needed white or bisque color. This product is complete junk. Everything has to be pre rinsed when loading. When I say nothing cleans I mean nothing. My coffee cups come out littered with chunks of food, dishes particularly bowls hold dirt also. I mean there are times the silverware is filthy. I've tried along with my husband different loading stratagies, new soaps new rinses and nothing works. I believe the food is not grinding as promised and there is just not enough was power I should not have to prewash my dishes to wash them. RUN away... run away!! do not buy this product, there are other options out there. Samsung, stick to TV's that you do well.

horrible machine. it doesn't get stuff clean. dries ok. the rubber used for gaskets crumbled into pieces and clogged the system right around warranty expiration. all in all, just garbage this product.

washes great & quiet!.but doesn't fit many dishes/bowls on the bottom rack...i am currently on this website looking to buy a different bottom rack to replace the crummy designed one that came with it.

only 2 yrs old. turns on by itself with door open. can't turn it off without flipping the circuit breaker. now it won't start and grinds away for hours trying to start. i'm unhappy with samsung.

Love Samsung appliances, which is why I could not believe how bad this dishwasher is. No way around it, you must wash dishes before putting them in this dishwasher, otherwise, they will be dirty. And yes I use top of the line detergent and know how to load a dishwasher. Bottom rack has angles that I just don't understand for placing your dishes. It is a puzzle and I dread loading this machine unless I have something like a glass. Also, I do not love the open door air drying. The door is open several inches (about 6) and must stay open for the dishes to dry. It is not convenient to have your dishwasher sitting partially open for hours. So I always try to run at night just so in the morning I can close the door. Just too much thought has to go into using this thing. On the plus side, it is quiet and plays a cute song when the cycle is finished.

We have 5 kids and generate a lot of dishes and pots. This washing machine works very well to meet our needs! Our last dishwasher left a terrible film on the dishes (we have hard water) and the heated dry made the whole thing smell like melting plastic so we couldn't even use that feature. My favorite thing on this dishwasher is the drying feature. The door automatically pops open and goes through a drying cycle. The drying cycle in combination with the stainless steel interior and using Cascade Platinum detergent packets causes no film or buildup from the hard water. I LOVE this dishwasher!
