I bought this dryer because of all the features, such as sanitizer, heavy duty, bedding etc...but never dries in heavy duty or bedding, I have to run it 3 times just for a thin blanket and nothing else or it keeps stopping. As far as the app goes, it's ridiculous. I work in tech and the set up of Samsung dryer with app when most the apps are outdated or don't work well. All in all, I paid 3xs the price of a basic dryer and doesn't even work better than regular dryer.

Bought this dryer a few months ago and we've been very happy with it. It dries the clothes very fast and we I love the Sensor Dry which stops the dryer when clothes are dry. The only thing we are disappointed compared to our previous dryer is for sheets and comforters, seems like they really get balled up and it's very hard to get the middle to dry unless you keep taking it out and reposition the load.

The dryer's computer/motherboard had to replaced just outside of the 1 year mark so I had to pay a hefty bill. Literally happed about 1-2 months after manufacturer warranty. Really did not think that would happen so I was not happy.

So far loving the dryer, its smart enough to add additional time if it senses that the clothes are not dry. The dryer also has the wrinkle free feature which is helpful as I don't have to iron all my clothes. Energy efficient as well. No issues so far.

dryer stops after 2 minutes (any cycle); no heat: vent blockage test says cl9 (clg?). removed vent duct from dryer and inspected ducting that exits residence; inspected inside drum, associated vent-nothing to be found! samsung chat wants to do a service ticket and send a tech from over 200 miles away with a service charhe by the tech guy that's couple hundred dollars-no thanks. will start buying cheaper dryers from other manufacturers that last just as long, if not longer than my overpriced samsung jun.

Had this dryer for about a month. The dry sensor works much better than our last dryer. When I turn the dry back on to warm up dried cloths that I neglected to take out, it only runs for a couple of minutes. My last dryer would run for nearly a full cycle if I let it. The lint trap is also great. Has a solid flap that prevents a lot of lint from falling into the vent ducts. Seems to even dry my clothes faster. A couple of gripes: the drum light turns off automatically after too short of time. I have to press the drum light button a couple of times to turn it back on. This is annoying as the dryer is in a dark closet without other good lighting. The finished chime is obnoxiously long. The top surface slants slighly which is not ideal, but still possible to fold and stack laundry on. That said I'll take those annoyances to have the performance I get out of this dryer.

My family has had the dryer for three months now and we are loving it. It has a plethora of preset cycles which come in pretty handy. However on the preset cycles you are unable to customize certain settings such as temperature, which is a bit of a bummer. Of course there are always the time dry where you can select any settings you want, but this does not have the sensor dry feature active. Overall the dryer is very nice, quiet and has great features. Especially sensor dry which works like a charm on all but towels and linens.

Worked great until about six months and now it seems to be very sporadic. It will work as it normally should one day, and the next day it might shut off after 15 minutes of drying time on medium heat. Has to be something in a temp sensor or thermostat failure, but either way it is not the Samsung products I am accustomed to.

I bought this in June and have been using it since then. I was apprehensive when I first bought it because I was not sure about the quality that I would get with this particular model. However, they disappeared fast. I love this dryer. It is super-efficient and quiet. The construction is nice, the layout of the knobs and control is perfect. The controls respond to the slightest touch. I used to press them a little harder but once I realized how super sensitive they were, I actually fell in love with them.
The machine in real life actually looks better than the photos! I bought the washer and dryer combo and can truly say that I liked the specs and price but was not happy with the looks from the photos. Once they arrived and I have them installed, they look quite good.
The only thing I would improve is that the lint remover needs thinner fingers or you need to have a soft brush that can be used to scoop the lint.

We needed a new washer then decided to buy our first matching set. I'm so glad we did! This dryer is fast in drying even the bulkiest of material without overdrying thanks to the dryness sensor. It has several settings for drying delicates to heavy blankets/comforters. The extra large drum can handle large loads of jeans to large bedding. The wrinkle prevention setting is an iron saver for when the dryer is complete but you're just not ready to fold.

It's digital so modern but easy to use. Much larger capacity than my last one basically can handle to large loads. Sometimes though with the blankets it takes a couple of cycles to dry even if by themselves. But great value for price.

purchased to replace a slightly older model after a lightning strike. we loved our samsung washer and dryer and convinced 2 others to purchase this brand.
unfortunately, this dryer has a sensor designed to protect us from overdrying our clothes. what happens is sheets and towels try and the moisture sensor cuts off the dryer sometimes withing 3 minutes of us turning it on. we come back and the sheet on the outside is dry but inner towels or sheets are wet.
i've contacted samsung and got the run around. when a service tech came out he blamed our problem on vent lines. if i wanted to run my dryer for 30 minutes there should be a setting i can use that instead of cutting off stays on.
i will not buy another one of these dryers and would not recommend anyone else does either
