I had a 16 year old duet that just died and was forced to get a new front loader. Repair man told me not to over pay for a dryer because I won't get 16 years out of it. This dryer is efficient and has plenty of drying settings. It's just loud with larger loads like jeans or towels. I almost had a repair team out right away until I Wen to Samsung's website. I just have to put smaller amounts in at a time and it's fine

I bought this because it is stackable and saves space since we recently downsized our home. I am blown away by the sensor dry! And I love the variety of settings. I can still time dry if I need to. It made it possible to add a small freezer to my utility room. I recommended the stackable to my daughter who needs to bring hers out of the basement up to an extra closet she can convert.

The first few months went without a hitch, but then the dryer heater element went out. The customer service and service technician was great though and haven't had any other problem, so figure it was a bad element? I love the sanitize function, especially in this day and age.

This dryer is great. The only thing is sometimes the sensor thinks the clothes/towels are dry and turns off when they are still damp. Otherwise it can handle large loads and does a great job on most loads.

this is the most annoying dryer ever. every adjustment is accompanied by loud sounds. the worst is the laundry done sound. that song is easily 30 seconds long. there is no option to turn it off or lower the volume. it's pure torture. i'm also not happy how it dries. laundry get's bundled up (sheets) and part of it may still be moist, thought it stopped and sensed all is dry. i also don't like that if you changed your mind about an option, like you wanted wrinkle prevent and forgot to push that button, you have to turn the unit off and then on again and turn the dial to the program you want, first. but particularly the sound makes me think twice to ever buy samsung again. what were they thinking?

I am in love with this dryer! It dries the first time, even on large loads, and towels. I used to have to do two or three cycles, but not anymore. It really is whisper quiet and I love that it has wrinkle shield, because sometimes I forget that it is on. The location of the control panel is really nice, too, because now my 5 year old likes to help do the laundry, and she can reach it with ease!
