I brought this about 9 months ago. And the door wont lock I had contact customer service about this matter. And all they could suggest is unplug it and hold the start button for 10 sec. The machine should reset itself. This method only works temporarily. Because they issue will continue to happen again

Did my first laundry loads with the new washer and so far so good. I do wish it had a Permanent press and a towel setting as im not certain that I choose the right modifications to the normal setting to create the proper spin etc for those two applicatons.

We bought this a month and have had nothing but issues since it was installed. Had E6 code going off every time we use it. The customer service is terrible. I had an appointment for repair but it was nearly two weeks away. I asked if there was anything sooner they canceled the first appointment and gave me one that was a week further away.

I bought this about 1 month ago. I love how it saves water and washes the clothes fine. Has many settings but we usually use normal wash. I have washed a king sized comforter and it handled it fine. I used the heavy cycle.

Weve had our new washer about 6 weeks now and I love it. Its only been unbalanced once because I put too much in unlike the last washer I had that came unbalanced almost every time I washed towels or sheets. It cleans well although I might stop using the laundry soap sheets because it doesnt rinse off very well. It happened some in the last washer but seems to happen more now. The only negative for me is the heavier washes seem more damp than the last washer so the dryer runs longer.

Tried other less expensive washers from Home Depot. Had to return two different units due to poor workmanship and washer performance.
My LG purchases has been remarkable. Nice looking unit easy to operate excellent alternatives for any type of load.
The LG unit is quiet efficient and we are very pleased.

Works well for cleaning clothes and the number of presets are good for most situations. The big issue we have is at 9 months the panel stopped working properly and so we could only use presets and could not manually adjust temp soil level or speed.

the washer is attractive and high tech BUT there is a drainage issue .
I have had to be careful choosing what combination of items I put into it
one must load by weight as well as color . heavy towels for example. combined with t-shirts will result in a code and standing water in the tub. I have had some bad outcomes and I have yet to try washing a comforter.

It was just delivered last week and so far so good. I have seen much improvement from my last LG washer in regard to its balancing an uneven load. This washer is WAY better at rebalancing. It holds a TON of clothes and the wash cycle time is WAY shorter then my previous LG that is a huge improvement. Fingers crossed that it continues to do well.

Washer works great mechanically. Only complaint is the top glass lid plastic frame cracked on two sides after 8 months. The replacement cracked in the same place after 3 months. Waiting to have third one installed. Hope that one doesnt do the same.

Bought this 3 months ago. Im very disappointed that I cant fill the tub and set to soak overnight. I called LG and was on the phone for more than 1/2 hour. The person helping on the other end suggested how I could do it but following his instructions the water just drained out.
Also do not like the absence of an agitator. Clothes just bounce around in the water and dont seem to get as clean. Plus spin cycle is so strong it stretches my clothes.

Was hoping for a great washing machine and unfortunately it isnt this one. Detergent dispenser doesnt drain the water properly after the cycle is complete and it leaks into drum of machine. I have to keep a rag inside the drum to catch the drips. Who designs a machine like this??? In addition I set the cycle to normal warm water high spin normal soil all presets and it changes from a 59 min. wash cycle to a 39 min. cycle within 1 or 2 of when I start the machine. It then drops down to 35 minutes after another minute. . Its been doing this since I bought the machine last month. If I wanted a quick cycle I would select the Speed Wash option. It doesnt clean my clothes the way I want it to. I have called LG twice and their answer is that the machine has a sensor and adjusts depending on the load. Bunch of BS because it doesnt matter the size of the load it still does this. Very frustrating. There are much better machines out there and I suggest you dont waste your time with this model. Sorry

I have had this washer for a month now. The results are mostly positive. However in an effort to be water efficient the wash basket is often under filled. I also find dirt and debris in the bottom of the basket after the cycle is complete.

Like so many of todays needlessly complicated appliances this washer does and adequate job IF and thats a BIG if you can figure out how to use it without any decent directions.I got the printed semi generic user manual on line in hard copy. It is useless . It tells you things that would be obvious to any caveman but doesnt tell you how to use the features you need.
Then it goes on to caution you that some instructions may or may not apply to your specific model. I guess you just have to..guess

Absolutely the worst appliance I ever purchased. Washer malfunctioned after 5 uses. Then to add to a bad situation LG said it was an installation problem not theirs. Home Depot called in a repair company and the water intake needed to be replaced as well as the whole main computer board.
LG customer service is HORRIBLE.

Worst appliance I have ever brought in my life Not only it does not clean the clothes it ruins it discoloration ripped items etc. i have to pre- treat every single little spill clothes are never submerged in water unless I keep adding additional time to soak I used to live doing laundry now its very time consuming to watch the Ayer level pause it manually push the laundry down to give some kind of wash. Customer service is terrible Do not purchase their washer unless you dont care about ruining your clothes

This is truly a Dream Machine After my non-LG washers computer crashed after only 3 years I did extensive research and chose the LG. It is fast and fantastic The swiftness in doing loads is noticeable. Also the load capacity is extraordinary - Ive washed a very large rug with great results.

I am giving this a 4 star only because I have only had it for a month - still learning how to use it. So far - I am very happy with my purchase. I did a lot of research and ultimately decided to bite the bullet and pay the higher price to go with this machine. No regrets so far. I had read that people had an issue with too little water - I did not notice this - the water levels to me have not been a problem. Love the No agitator - great for bedding and will assume I will no longer have the little holes in my shirts that appeared in my old agitator machine after multiple washings.

So far so good. Our experiences with washers over the past 10 years or so has been poor. So that this one runs well is cause for optimism. The first two were Maytags. #1 had the tub seal go bad and ruined the floor. # 2 just couldnt stay balanced. In the end the cost to repair was over half the cost to replace. Anyway this one will wash large heavy loads without complaint. Lets hope it keeps running.
