This washer does a pretty good job at washing youre cloth but its very picky. This washer will wash small and medium loads of clothes just fine. It will not washer heavy loads or just one thick blanket at all. If there is an unbalance or the load gets to heavy it will stop automatically at the spin cycle or not at all. I think the motor isnt strong enough to power threw the load once the items are soaking wet and gets to heavy.

My 3rd offer to write my 2nd review. Hard to rate when I just got it. Ive gone through 3 of these washers since October 30 2024. 1st one was dented like crumpled up foil2 nd one started throwing codes after 2 weeks. Im hoping this 3rd one I received couple weeks ago is the charm.

Terrible washing machine Claims to be large capacity however if you wash 4-5 towels washer doesnt drain or spin it gets off balance have had technician out 3 times he told me it cant be fixed that it isnt meant to wash large loads

Seems to work well although there have been a couple of problems. Most importantly the latch for the door broke off and stayed locked in the catch on the machine around the 10 month mark. It was covered under warranty but we were without a washer for several weeks while we waited for the repair appointment. We had to make several trips to the laundromat during that time. Secondly my clothes seem to be breaking down and developing holes more quickly than they did in our previous set up. Im not completely sure it is the fault of the new washer but it seems the most likely cause. Other than those issues I love the capacity of the washer.

Do not purchase this washing machine After 3 months of owning this machine it got mold so badly I brought it to LGS attention they did absolutely nothing. Since then its gotten much worse. The washing machine smells so gross and wasnt washing my clothes they stunk. I called and demanded someone come look at it. Come to find out it was so full of mold the water valves were clogged with mold and wasnt washing my clothes properly. It was putting disgusting mold water in every load. They wont do anything about it. I was given a 15 off coupon to buy another washer. Do not buy LG. It has been making my son and sick from such bad mold and they wont do anything about it except offer me a coupon to buy another unit. I have children and to know Ive been washing there clothes with mold water is repulsive. I bought a mold kit and cleaning tabs. It did nothing to fix the mold. Dont buy this unit.
Not to mention when the LG technician came out to look at my washing machine. The mold was so badly infested in the unit and motor. He wouldnt even let me clean it. He just put it right back together. How disgusting to know how much mold is in there that I cant even clean. Just disgusting.

Super nice...cleans well and I like the size and that washer and dryer can be linked so it automatically can select the corresponding setting.

Really love this washer Its super easy to use and has great features. I highly recommend getting the pedestal for it. Id read reviews and agree that its really helpful to have it raised. This washer is very quiet compared to my 16 year old washer it replaced and its solid...doesnt vibrate and move unlike my old one. Love love love it. Highly recommend

Over the years Ive used various brands of washers and dryers. It was time to upgrade my set and several factors influenced my decision. The initial appearance and appeal seemed like a perfect fit for my laundry room.
Regarding features when compared with similar brands this one stood out because it included all the modern features one could need such as delicate/wool steam heavy load and customizable load options. You can tailor the cycles to your preference and they yield tangible results.
The machine runs pretty quietly and the interactive app is quite user-friendly with numerous options. Ive used Wi-Fi and app-connected machines before which were merely functional but this one works exceptionally well. The notifications are instant and the online features integrate seamlessly with its functionality. As I write this review I just received a notification that the wash cycle is complete.
In summary it looks very stylish in the laundry room with a pleasing color combination. It can handle heavy loads without straining the drum runs quietly even on heavy settings is easy to use and most importantly cleans much better than any other brand Ive previously used.
However there is room for improvement. The touch buttons while adequate could be a bit more sensitive to touch.
And yes comparatively the energy consumption is lower.

It washed good for about three months. Then all of a sudden it started snagging my clothes and sheets. It even does it on the gentle cycle. Has had two repairman out there and they give me ridiculous excuses of why its happening and they cant figure out why no one is listening to me I am more than on happy right now. I paid a lot of money for this washing machine.

It washes clothes fine. However it smells awful right out of the box. It has an awful oil smell to it inside the drum. I thought it was because it was new and boxed up just needed to air out for a bit that was not the case at all. I tried every remedy out there vinegar leaving door open after washingalthough I knew it was not a mold issue and told them that I ran the cleaning cycle etc. I finally had the repair man out to tell me it was normal and I was using too much soap. Funny cause the machine came with the smell. I will never buy another LG product mostly because of their service next they dont seem to stand behind their product. My clothes smell like oil. Its ridiculous. Dont buy this machine. Its garbage
