This is a great looking and performing microwave. It has all the features you would need or want. The side hidden handle is especially great since traditional handles you tend to pull down if shorter and can xause damage as it did to our previous non-LG microwave.

My old over the stove microwave died. It was nice while it lasted. It was basic white more than 20 years old. Got the LG modern looking over the stove microwave. It looks great fits great and works wonderfully. It has a big door with a very dark display but mine is black on the outside and gray on the inside. I have to get use to the chime when its done cooking because it reminds we have an ice cream truck.

Very nice over-stove microwave overall. However at least 2 quirks: turning off the turntable is awkward at best buried in settings when it should be simple on/off button and wifi app notifies of every time the unit turns off which is pretty useless when simply warming some coffee for 30 or 60 seconds and everything else in the course of a day.

Was happy to find that this microwave had so many features at a reasonable price. The install fit perfectly in my existing space with only minimal adjustment. Wish the buttons at the bottom of the door would light up since they are hard to see.

This was bought as a replacement for a previous LG microwave that failed and was rep-laced under the terms of Best Buys 5 year warranty. It is my third LG microwave in 7 years. Both of the previous ones failed shortly after the factory warranty ended. The second one failed after 14 monthw and was repaired. It failed again at 4 1/2 years and was replaced.
I bought another LG hoping to avoid more mounting holes in my cabinet but the mounting holes were not the same on the new oven.
The new oven works well noiw but based on past experience I expect it to failat 14 months so I bought the Best Buy 5 year warranty. The old oven let me set a custom setting for frequently used setting. The new oven lacks that feature. The LG+ phone app works but lacks the ability to actually start the oven so what is the point????

After experiencing several problems with the microwave including it shutting off only when using the fan to smoke coming off of the food as if it was over cooking. Customer service would not replace the unit. Instead they insisted on sending out. Repair technician to diagnose. The first guy said it was the control board. After waiting all day for the second crew to show up this week to replace the parts. I have no faith in this microwave. I will be getting rid of it. Its not worth burning my house down. The controls are right above the stove in when condensation from cooking especially pasta water boiling etc. hits the panel everything fogs up. The exhaust fan is not strong enough to pull all of that moisture away. Faulty design do not recommend purchasing.

Initially wanted a new microwave in the black stainless to replace my old black one. I felt like my 9 year old microwave was working fine until the new one was installed. The printing inside the door needs to have greater contrast.-- difficult to read in lower light levels. Also it is hard for shorter people to see through the door the viewing area is truncated at the bottom.

Ive been using this LG about 2 weeks. First it was easy to install. And it works beautifully. I like the short menu of instructions on the right frame when you open the door. And it works as indicated. It cooks and defrosts or warms as promised.

Very happy with the range so far. Really like that it has Air Fry capability. The only downside is you have to be very careful because it is very easy to accidently turn on the stove top by bumping against the knobs. There is a lock feature if yo can remember that. I connected the range to wifi using the LG app because I was hoping there was a feature that could alert me when the stove is on. I was not able to finde that in the app. The app will tell you it is on but you have to open the app to check.
