We purchased this refrigerator about four months ago it will not cool below 44 degrees when set to the 33 degree setting. Food spoils very quickly as you can imagine. The repairman has yet to resolve the problem was here yesterday and did not fix the issue.

I like that the ice maker is not a dispenser which creates more freezer room. The fridge and freezer are very spacious the design for space was thought out very well. I needed a new fridge ASAP and did not have time to do much research nonetheless go into an actual store to browse and compare so it was a bit of a hasty purchase. That being said Im not a fan of it not having handles. Its given me a habit of touching the door when I close it and Ive pinched my fingers between the doors numerous times. My other nit pick is the color of the side panel. I feel like common sense for chrome appliances would be a black side. Its a hideous matte gray. However like I said its a bit unfair for my bias because I had to find a fridge online make the purchase in litteraly 3 minutes.

Everything about the appliance is good except for the ice maker. It just cant keep up. Started out ok but then started to take longer to fill up the bin. Even with the ice plus setting on. Just had them come out to repair and they replaced the ice unit and its still the same. Other than that its a good unit. We are a family of 3 and have this issue. If youre a larger familiy itd a be a bigger issue im sure.

Im giving 2 stars for benefit of doubt since I havent contacted the company just yet to see what they are going to do about my issue but I feel regardless the fact that I have had this fridge for just under 10 months the ice maker is barely making any ice all the sudden points to a low quality product. Maybe its just luck and a part will be repaired I wont have anymore issues I know when thousands of units are produced in a factory theres always a few that will have issues. But. we will see . I will absolutely return to update or leave a new review If unable to edit once the issue has been resolved

What really made me smile and even more happy with my purchase though is when I broke one of the drawers I called to order a new one and the service rep warrantied it for me. The space saving ice maker in the door is a poor design. Sometimes the ice melts and refreezes and then cant dispense ice so I have to take the tray out get the blob the of ice out and put it back in. The refrigerator part works fine

I purchased my side by side 1-24-23 it was a re-saleable. But I have had nothing but problems it was no longer cooling it is under warranty. I reported the problem 2-26-23. It has yet to be repaired. I keep being mislead as to who when it will be repaired. Enough already

One of the few black side by side still being manufactured. We bought this several weeks ago and overall are very pleased with it. It has considerably more capacity than our previous refrigerator freezer while fitting in the same opening. There are a few small negatives: front shows fingerprints drawer pulls are on the bottom requiring bending to open and the air filter is located in an awkward place behind one of the drawers. Despite this we would definitely recommend it.

Ive had my fridge for about a week now and there isnt anything I dont like about it. Reviews I read before purchasing only gave four items some people werent happy with:. drawers open from the bottom ice maker is small there is no egg compartment and only one shelf is adjustable. Didnt these people look at this refrigerator before buying or even look at the photos because each of these items would have been obvious if they had Knowing that I studied again and determined that none of them were deal breakers for me and they havent bothered me a bit. And it looks like a million bucks. I WOULD DEFINITELY BUY AGAIN

We bought this replace a 12 yr old LG French door refrigerator. It had been a good performing appliancr until it had 3 breakdowns in a month. We liked and bought our current side by side for the accessibility to the freezer space. A couple months in we noticed our cheeses were getting moldy shortly after purchase. We were advised at time of purchase to buy an extended waranty. We did. We have had 2 warranty repairs done in the last 2 months. The basic problem is the refrigerator section is not staying cold enough. The repair tech set it at 37 and 3 days later the fridge was running at 41. We set it at 35 now it runs at 38. If this keeps going we will only have one more notch 33 is the lowest setting. Freezer runs at -10 no matter what you set the freezer temp at. A 5 yr extended warranty is a must.

Good fridge however I was very disappointed because in the picture it looks matte black which is why I bought it and was willing to wait over a month for delivery. Its NOT matte black. Also when they delivered it it had no plastic coating that you peel off whatsoever so there were several scrapes on it.

Of semi-cold water and then if you try to fill up pitchers is eventually turns HOT I tried to get service and I was told it possibly was the compressor. I contacted LG and ask for the refrigerator to be replaced. I have yet in 3 attempts gotten any help or a replacement. They do not care

I cant speak to its longevity but I did purchase Home Depots 5 year plan so not too worried for another 5 years. We purchased the black fridge. We bought this about a month ago and have been pleased with it. It takes a little getting used to not having handles to open and close the doors. In my opinion the only drawback to this refrigerator is the lack of capacity for the ice maker. If you use a lot of ice throughout the day or have a need for a large amount of ice you have to wait quite awhile for it to replenish the supply. A larger container would be preferable.

Lets start with the lack of cold water 2 glasses then turns to warm to many hoses on the outside not enough circulating through the unit. Ice making is a slow process yes I know I could of bought the one with craft ice but I did not have the room. Their should be a option for lighting by the water/ice dispenser. Placement of the power cord on top of the unit really?? The draws on the inside handles on the bottom is not convenient. I forgot to mention the taste of the water it reminds me of my childhood when we drank out of the hose and I dont mean that in a good way. The spout where the water comes out has a constant drip LG told me my water pressure was to high never had that problem before with other refrigerators. Should have more adjustable shelves both sides. On the bright side it looks nice and shiny and the lighting works well on the inside. Im not slamming LG they did us right with our washer and dryer unit we were in a hurry because our old fridge died and had to move fast.

We bought it in June of 2022 and we like the refrigerator except for 2 problems- and they are minor to medium issues. The ice dispenser will toss pieces on to the floor unless you hold the cup all the way to the top of the feeder. Minor issue.
Second problem is the water. It is tap temperature all of the time. So if you do get ice you have to load a lot of it to chill the water. I have had better cold water dispensers in refrigerators. Not good...

Love the sleek look of the refrigerator. I like how the shelves can be adjusted and the deepness of the drawer. Unfortunately after only a few weeks of use the cubed ice maker has stopped working. It produces only shaved ice. I can hear the motor turning but it wont drop any cubed ice. I will be calling to have it checked out under the warranty.
