This product has been terrible. 3rd lg fridge and the last we will own. The ice machine is completely inefficient for a family. Its been replaced once already to remedy the issue. In 2 days it still doesnt fill the ice bin. The tiny cube size definitely doesnt help.

This has been one of the worst customer service experiences Ive ever had.
The refrigerator itself failed far sooner than expected which is already unacceptable for a major appliance. But what made the situation far worse was the complete lack of professionalism and accountability from the company. My service appointment was rescheduled multiple times with no regard for my time leaving me waiting at home day after day with no resolution.
When I contacted customer service the support was unhelpful and dismissive. I asked to speak with a supervisor and received no meaningful assistance. There was no urgency no ownership of the problem and no effort to make things right.
On top of that the service is overpriced for what you get and the short warranty period makes it feel like customers are left on their own once issues arise.
Overall this experience has been frustrating time-consuming and a complete waste of money. I will not be purchasing from this brand again and strongly recommend others think twice before doing so. Complete TRASH Do not buy

The door alarm is so annoying goes off after brief periods wakes others when used at night. The alarm would prevent me from making this purchase again. I have to repeatedly clean the exterior door diebto finger prints. It also measures a depth of 28.5 4 beyond my standard counter tops. It makes very limited amounts of ice compared to my previous freezers.

The doors have never closed properly and no matter what I do they slam. It makes a lot of noises and they are particularly bothersome in the middle of the night. The icemaker conked out after a year needed to be replaced. Thank goodness I bought an Extended warranty that covered it.

My ice cube dispenser was clogged because I didnt use it very often. Repairman was here within a very reasonable amount of time steamed the clog loose and instructed me how to minimize/prevent the issue in future.

I hope other people who have purchased this refrigerator received good working ones but unfortunately that was not the case for us. Within the first month of owning it the evaporator fan had to be replaced. The technician told us it was not running strong enough to get the freezer to the coldest temperature to make ice. After that all seemed to be good until about 9 months after owning it that the dispenser just stopped working. Ice was still being made but no ice or water would come out of the dispenser. Technician took the dispenser apart and discovered that the way it was assembled had some of the wires too close to the dispenser and therefore any leaking water got on the wires causing them to rust which made the dispenser stop working. The way this model is built just has a lot of faulty construction. Such a bummer because it fit perfectly in our space and has a nice sleek design now not sure if will repurchase the same one again.

I have several concerns with the new refridgerator. The refridg drawers open from the bottom of each drawer rather than the top. Sometimes it is hard to bend to open them.
Secondly it would have been nice for the shelves in both the freezer and fridg be adjtable to accomodat high products.

This refrigerator is a dent magnet. The front is so thin it dents easily. Also a guest in my house dropped a jelly jar shattering the vegetable drawer cover. If that wasnt enough I called to order the part and they sent the wrong part. First of all that should have been tested dropping things on the vegetable drawer glass. It was a mess to clean up and I still dont have the right part. No schematics any where and the overseas representative must have been high on drugs selling it to me as I was extremely specific on which part I needed.

Best looking and most useful refrigerator out there sans 1 thing: the pulls on the refrigerator drawers are at the BOTTOM : This means having to bend ALL the way to the bottom of the frig to open the bottom drawer think touch your toes

So far so good. I have only had the refrigerator for about two weeks now but I have no complaints. I had it delivered then installed myself and it was incredibly simple. Seems a plenty spacious for food for myself and my son could get a little pressed for space for a larger family but thats with any side by side Im sure. It looks nice. Water filter/ice are doing great.

We measured our space per LG instructions. We got the Refrigerator in and it looked really nice. But after about a half an hour of being plugged in we noticed the cabinet NEXT to the refrigerator getting awfully hot. The vent is in the back of the fridge which does not let the air escape. We had to pull the fridge out a half a foot just to let enough air escape to not get hot. The vent needs to be in the front on the bottom. Poorly designed

I waited just 1month to the day for delivery Without hardly any correspondence from LG. The delivery went very smooth and fast finally. They plugged it in and left The refrigerator was so hot on the exterior that you couldnt hold your hand on it? So I unplugged it. Called LG they said that they would contact me when they could get a service man to look at it. After a week a service man called me and he set up an appointment to come and look at it. He diagnosed the problem had to go and get parts then installed the part and so far so good But waiting almost 6 weeks to get a NEW refrigerator that works seems a bit long to me ??

Our refrigerator of 17 years just broke. And I mean the entire door fell off and there was no way of putting it back. The pieces holding it fell apart. So quickly we needed to find something. We had heard wonderful reviews about LG so that was our first to look at. We loved that the one that was showcased in the store had a counter depth option because we have very limited space in our kitchen and very tight space to move the old one out and new one in its place. We have had this new refrigerator for a few weeks now and we love it I love that it doesnt have handles its sleek look that there is no water tray in the water filter on the front as ours always got calcium build up and love the inside spaciousness with the water filter in the refrigerator side. Ours was on the very bottom outside and not convenient. We also like how the ice dispenser in on the door and doesnt take shelf space away like our other one did. So needless to say we are very HAPPY so far

New purchased so I cannot comment on durability. Overall I am very pleased. Refrigerator is designed well with thoughtful design that takes in accout of storage of a variety of sized items. Only minor complaint is on the drawers. I do not like the handle on the bottom of the drawers.

Bought this for its sleek modern front and that I once heard LG had a good reputation. The water inlet valve failed just a few months after my one year warranty expired. Then the replacement part failed after one week LG service was rigid and refused to consider my expenses of over $500 for double the service appointments.

Ive had my LG refrigerator a few weeks and so far Im pleased with my purchase. I really like the modern look of the unit and that was the driving force behind my purchase. Of concern is the ice-maker. My household is one person and the ice-maker barely keeps up with my needs. Im not sure how it would do with a large household. I also find the ice-maker loud but its manageable. All in all I like the refrigerator. If possible I would purchase a larger model because freezer space is limited in this size but if kitchen space is limited this is a great option.

My wife and I purchased this LG side-by-side refrigerator due its smaller size and the convenience of ice and water in the door. We made the purchase in July 2023 and have experienced nothing but trouble with the ice maker from day one. Their are only two of us in the household and I am the only person that consistently uses ice and the ice maker cannot keep up with my needs although I have switched on the ice makers party mode to make more ice. I called the LG Help Line about 1 month of my purchase and they walked through the ice maker re-set which was just a temporary fix. Now I get Zero ice. I called again on the 21st and LG informed me that would need a technician to look at my refrigerator. The technical company touched base with me Saturday morning and informed me the are ordering parts they havent identified the issue but theyre ordering parts. I am fixing to purchase my 6th bag of ice today and still have not heard when someone will be out to fix the problem.

Drawers at the bottom should have handels on top not at the bottom. Should be one small drawer underneat one of the shelfs for small items. Water dispencer should have its touch for each optionwater cube ice crushed ice. Good fridge. Would be nice if i could control thru app.

Ive had my LG refrigerator a couple of weeks now and I am very pleased. I replaced an older model refrigerator that had lasted many years. This LG model looks great and makes my kitchen look more upscale and modern. I like the in door ice dispenser. It is circular and helps prevent ice from falling onto the floor while being dispensed. My family is small so the ice maker produces an adequate amount of ice but Im not sure it would be sufficient for a larger family. I purchased the counter depth and while there is less space inside it fits in my space perfectly. All in all this refrigerator is what I need but does not provide a lot of extra space. I would purchase again.

I switched appliance brands and I am so happy I did. We needed a counter depth refrigerator at a reasonable cost and found this Side by Side. It not only met our initial needs but surpassed them. It is very roomy cools well and the finger print resistive brushed chrome matches our other appliances.
