We purchased this refrigerator because we love our other LG products...but this was disappointing. The overall size is okay--we wanted something smaller--but I didnt think to check that the shelves can not be shifted. Each pair of shelves are made from a single piece of material and curved to form the two shelves. They each have their own cooling mechanisms attached to them as well or maybe its a drain for auto-defrost? so we arent realistically able to remove one set. Additionally each set is bowed so none of the shelf surfaces are actually flat. The bottom drawer isnt as deep as the rest of the freezer either--assuming that its because thats where the motor is--so it holds very little. We will be replacing this freezer at our earliest opportunity.

I have had this freezer for just over a year it was great until it wasnt. It started frosting over within days and one day all of my food was thawed. The technician came out and found nothing wrong. So now I dont know what to do other than be mad about it and never buy another LG appliance.

Stopped working after two years. During the defrost we unplugged the freezer for an hour or two. The freezer did start and refroze but warmed up. Seems like an electronic issue. Moving it to the garage I retested it and same freeze then warm

Brought it on 12Jul 24 and never received it. Got messages 3 of them stating will be deliver on this date onel to get another message it is delay. THREE times - So I called on Jul 27 - CANCEL order. Representative said it was at RXO for delivery - Called RXO and they stated no record on hand. Call back to LG customer service and requested my refund. As of yet no REFUND. Please advice.

Pros: Very quiet strong magnetic seal strong vacuum when closing the door super cold and efficient my setting at mid-way got me at -5 near the inside top shelf.
Cons: Shelves not adjustable bottom bin for defrost-water but I put a Turkey there for now until I need to defrost.

This freezer is perfect size for our specific needs. We bought it as a replacement to an older larger refrigerator-freezer combination which had been taking up too much space. This appliance is pretty quiet after its been running for a few days and is short and shallow enough to not take up too much space visually. Could have a shelves above it if desired since it doesnt reach as high as a standard refrigerator-freezer.
The only downside is that the shelves are fixed in place so you cant easily remove one to accommodate a large frozen item. On the flip side I think its more efficient from a storage perspective to have multiple shelves instead of a few widely spaced shelves because you can fit in more smaller items and access them more easily than if they were all stacked up on each other.
The freezer isnt very heavy so at first the appliance will rock forward when you try to open the door because its got a great seal on it. Dont worry Once its loaded with frozen items the combined weight will keep it seated on the floor when you open the door.
I paid full price for the appliance.

The freezer was dropped before delivery so the door was bent. We did not notice until after the 48 hrs window since the damage was not visible. It took a repair man to diagnose the problem. LG and Home Depot were both blaming each other and would do nothing for us until we finally sent a letter to Home Depot store manager. We have a new freezer now but it was not a fun experience

Really happy with this freezer. We looked for a while to find a small upright and this is the perfect size. Its nice looking and doesnt take up a ton of space. Racks are not adjustable so if you buy huge things this might not work but for what we need its perfect.

The LG freezer has a very slick look. Very compact takes up less space than my small chest freezer. Really like better than my chest. Downside is that this LG 20 W 6 cu. ft. did not hold everything from my 5 cu. ft. chest. Up on arrival got very cold fast below zero. Adjusting took longer than I thought but got it around +2 degrees after a few days adjusting once per day.

After having my freezer for 4 months it stop working completely. Called in for help and its like they train their reps to sugar coat us and tell false truths. They control the appointments yet they tell me that the contractor does. I ask to speak with a supervisorthey never call just a text telling they spoke to the contractor. When are you going to speak to me to find out the issue. Because apparently they put what they wanted to for him to read.
Contractor finally come it will take 7 days for your part. They took 10 days finally install it and guess what..... its noisy and still dont work. Call Corp office and the phone keeps hanging up. I have a ups right freezer which I lost food they said they will give me a money to replace havent got that yet because the supervisor hasnt called.
It made me select one star the service I received doesnt deserve that
