Ive had this dishwasher about a year. Love the steam option and it cleans well. Hate the rack system. The tines are too loose its easy for them to fall down. The rack where you put glasses was constantly sliding out and my countertop would get extremely hot. The dealer finally solved those problems but in doing so put a large scratch on the top of the dishwasher panel. The extra rack on top is too small not much fits in it. Maybe some knives.

I purchased this dishwasher several months ago and loved how quiet it runs. But we had issues with it not drying wheatgrass and plastic items no matter what we tried. I called LG and scheduled an appointment. The tech was extremely knowledgeable and quickly figured out that the general contractor I hired to install it made several errors. The LG tech had to reinstall the dishwasher and it has worked perfectly ever since. I highly recommend this dishwasher and also that customers make sure they hire a the right person to install it.

Absolute trash and I mean the product and LG Customer Service. Theyre out here manufacturing appliances that cant be operated in an electrical code-compliant environment and they wont do anything to help customers.
We purchased this last November. The dishwasher itself is mediocre at best when it works. We have had problems since day 1. The dishwasher trips the GFCI in our kitchen randomly. Sometimes it happens in consecutive cycles and we have to wash a load of dishes up to five times in a row before it complete a cycle without tripping and theres no rhyme or reason as far as the cycles are concerned. Sometimes we go five days or a couple weeks without it tripping.
When I reached out to LG and requested a replacement they refused blaming the issue on the electrical saying that the manual clearly states that it cannot be used with a GFCI. Heres some news for you LG: National Electrical Code REQUIRES a GFCI. Your fancy brushless DC motors and inverter boards arent compatible with them and thats neither the electricians fault nor the consumers fault. Sounds like youre headed for another class action lawsuit youll quietly force into arbitration and likely end up getting out unscathed.

They are ignoring the problem Horrible customer service and clearly a horrible dishwasher. On top of that it stopped drying the dishes too. The ThinIQ app can only be used on older 2.4GHz Wi-Fi software. I cant connect the dishwasher to the app for diagnostics or remote control. LG Tech Support suggested I use a different network how many networks should I have in my house or switch Wi-Fi providers.
The description of this LG Dishwasher does not disclose the 12.4GHz restrictions. Customers only find out about this after installation.
Everything in my house works just fine on the existing Wi-Fi network. Only LG has a problem. Somehow thats my fault.
Unit is three months old. This is NOT covered by the warranty.

Our appliances came with the new home we had built. We closed in October of 23 and our dishwasher began to leak on our wood floor. We called for service and he arrived next day. The tech said he would order on of the plastic end caps for the end of rack and a month later still no plastic piece.

Ive had the dishwasher for a little over a month and have been very happy with it I like how quiet it is and really like the sleek design and the third drawer at the top for long spoons spatulas and Tupperware lids. I havent had any issues with dishes not getting cleaned. If I had to pick one negative thing Id say the dishes dont dry very well even with rinse aid. I havent tried the night dry feature yet just been propping the door open after cycle to let it all dry for a couple hours. Theres a few features I havent used yet like the turbo jets or flex zone because honestly I dont even know what that means but its a great product and I would recommend

Everyday Im thrilled with this purchase. This is by far the best most efficient dishwasher I have ever used. It replaced my Bosch which was 10 years old and was always in need of repair. Dishes come out sparkling clean. There is a turbo cycle that cleans and dries in 60 minutes which is amazing The top rack for silverware is so convenient and the other racks are adjustable and accommodate large loads with ease

The dishwasher doesnt actually wash dishes. After almost every load I have to rewash 5-15 items. Its so frustrating Whats the point of a dishwasher if it doesnt wash dishes. It smells often too even though I clean the filter weekly the whole dishwasher twice a month. Its probably the water regulations. Anyone do the water usage on all the dishes you have to rewash after running this dishwasher?

This is such a great dishwasher Very sleek appearance nice features but my favorite is how quite the machine is when running. In general I am satisfied with this dishwasher. It does good job with dishes and relatively easy in use. However I give 3 starts is for build quality. Detergent dispenser broke after 1 year of very light use. This is unacceptable for a product for such a brand as LG and price point. I was lucky that I was under warranty from a retailer so it was fixed very quickly.

Extremely unhappy with this purchase. Top rack is extremely loose rails have way too much play in them. The dishes and every surface in the dishwasher come out soaking wet even with the extra dry mode selected 3 hour cycle. I regret this purchase.

This dishwasher doesnt wash dishes We have to rinse off everything if we want it clean. The top drawer feature captures crud up there and only really flat items fit. Instead of putting all your silverware in the huge basket you must slide each one into a slot and our butter knives dont fit. Since we rarely use the entire basket all the space it takes up is wasted. On the middle rack where the coffee cups go the rack does not allow them to tilt to drain off so water is always left on the bottoms. We have ended up with multiple black spots on spoons and bowls they werent like that when we loaded the machine so we must check each to make sure the LG spots as I know they are likely to be called in the future are not present.

I have had my LG dishwasher for four weeks and Im very pleased. I havent had any issues or quirks with it. The drawers work beautifully and the bonus tray on top is a really nice feature for plastic lids that you dont want to start to break down from the heat.

Im going with a tentative 5 stars on this dishwasher. Installed two weeks ago. It looks good runs quietly and cleans great. Yesterday I got an LE error which the manual tells me is a motor fault issue. I restarted the wash and everything was ok. Its a little concerning given the cost of the new unit but I will keep an eye on this.

Overall nice dishwasher. We did have an issue with the first one that we got. It was remedied quite quickly buy the company and repairman. Moving forward it does a nice job. I really like the LG app to monitor when to run the cleaning cycle and when there is finishing liquid needed. Takes the guess work out.

Looks very good install was pretty straight forward. The extra sleeve they have around the drain line makes it much larger than it needs to be and probably wont fit through your existing hole. The top mounts are in a standard location so if you have quartz/granite countertops and have brackets glued to the underside to mount to they wont line up with your old one. Didnt even get to run the unit and the first time I slid out the middle drawer all the bearings fell out of the slide. I literally bought it because the middle rack rolled so nice. Guess well see how it gets handled as Im not removing this just for a new slide. Will update after that if it goes well
