Dont buy this It wont last 2 years without expensive repairs. The rinse dispenser leaks all the rinse aid out as soon as your pour it in. You have a I think 1 year waranty mine was leaking a little and then leaks it all out right after 2 years. This is a big problem and they know it. I only use it 2 times a week. Dont bother buying any new dishwasher because theyre all garbage and we stupid americans keep buying this junk. My old dishwasher lasted 28 years.

I love the dishwasher and would have given it 5 stars but the connection to the phone app is really lacking. I cannot get it to connect and therefore do not have access to the downloaded option nor any of the service updates such as notifying me when the rinse aid is low. However I bought the dishwasher to wash dishes and it does a great job at that. Really like the 3rd rack.

Bought the dishwasher 4 months ago and still have problems with getting the water heated even after making sure warm water is entering the washer it shuts off in the middle with error flash. And even if I do not set high temperature
The cycle is very long and it does not dry well.
I called twice already and it definitely helps adding the rinse but Im somewhat disappointed in the appliance.

Dishwasher was installed on 7 Sep24 and leaked due to deformed gasket. It took three and a half weeks to get it fixed. First contractor never contacted us second came right out and ordered the part. Part arrived in three days then LG had four appointments cancelled because the part had not arrived. After finally getting a person to speak with it was determined that the second part had not been shipped there was only one part needed and only one ordered because LG had doubled ordered the part and their system kept cancelling the repair because of this. Dishwasher seems to work OK it has errored out 2-3 times for no apparent reason. We will NEVER buy another LG appliance because of their poor customer service.

Highly disappointed in LG dishwasher # 2. The dishwasher looks cheap. There is NO logo on the front of the dishwasher as shown in the picture. The front looks generic. The most important requirement was that it be quiet. The noise level is not 45 decibels. It sounds nothing like dishwasher #2. I can hear it running upstairs. I hate I didnt have them come and get it. It does not do a good job of drying either.

I enjoy the quiet cycles and the way everything comes out very clean and dry. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating is that the bottom tray occasionally comes off the track when moving it out. It is very easy to put it back on the track but it seems as though it should not do this especially when it is new.

Just about 2 years old and had to have the drain pump motor replaced. Customer service was awful giving no help or answers for their own product other than what I can google. Then proceeding to tell me the problem was fixed even after proving it wasnt. Waited a week to have a service person here and they never showed up or even let me know they werent coming. Waited another whole week to get it fixed.

This dishwasher really does an excellent job of cleaning. I really like how you can customize the racks. I can now load all my large mixing bowls and tall baking sheets. I also love how quiet it is. The first few times I used it I had to check to see if it was actually running.

After putting in dirty dish and coffee cups with dried coffee to test we have been thrilled One negative about the install. I have used my dishwasher twice since it was delivered and I have been completely satisfied with the way it cleans the dishes. I had 14 family members here for Easter Dinner and I was able to put the dishes and silverware into the dishwasher and everything was completely clean when I unloaded the dishwasher. I paid in full for this dishwasher at a local store.

Bought this almost a month ago and so far happy with its performance just wish LGs call center had knowledgeable people about their products. Im pretty sure its not the employees fault they are probably not trained by LG the way they should be. Sadly thats pretty much the way things are going with all big corporations so that is why I cant give 5 stars. LGs manual is better then a lot of others but still not precise and complete so you need knowledgable phone support and its just not there.

I purchased this dishwasher in August of 2021. It was working great until March 2024 when it stopped working and gave an LE error code which indicated motor trouble. Since the dishwasher was less than 10 years old and the motor was still under full warranty I called LGs customer service center on 3/15/24 to make arrangements for repairs. I was told that a service repairman could be sent to my house to repair the dishwasher on 3/20/24. but first I had to agree to a credit card charge of $343.85. This seemed high to me since the cost of the motors replacement was fully covered by warranty. I was told by LGs representative that this was their estimate and that I would only be billed for the actual costs after the repairs had been made. When I talked to the LG service repairman after he had completed the repairs about the final amount he told me that he reported everything to LG and they would determine the final billing amount. I never received an itemized billing statement or explanation of the charges from LG. The only notification I have received of the final billing amount of #322.17 was on my March 2024 credit card statement. Even though this amount is slightly less than LGs estimate of $343.85 I still have no idea why it is so high since the cost of the motor that was replaced was covered by warranty. Had I known that just the labor costs alone to repair this dishwasher that is less than three years old would be more than one-half the cost to buy a new dishwasher of the same specifications I would not of had this dishwasher repaired and probably would have bought another new dishwasher from another manufacturer. Perhaps the most upsetting thing to me about this experience is that I consider LGs repair services to be very unprofessional. I was given an estimate that seemed very and when I asked why it was so high I was told that it included state sales taxes which by the way are not collected on services in California. After that I never received an itemized billing of what I paid for the repairs. I am not sure but I believe in California I am entitled to an itemized estimate of the repair cost before the work is performed and another itemized final invoice of the final repair cost amount.

Delivered the beginning of February. Installed. Would not work. Many calls made. Couldnt get a real person to schedule a service call. Had to get store manager at store of purchase to schedule a repair. Two service men later replace two major parts...pump and control board. Still not working. Second repair man said he was going to have his boss call LG to give us a replacement. March 22nd and I have not been able to use my dishwasher even once.

Im happy with my quiet LG dishwasher It has the same dimensions as my old dishwasher but my LG is set up in a way that it holds more dishes. And it even has an extra rack on top
I was also surprised at the quality of the wash. My dishes sparkle with the Auto set which is my favorite wash at the moment. I havent had time to try all of the settings. I love my LG TV as well which prompted me to purchase the dishwasher. Thank you LG

I love the quietness of the dishwasher and the light that informs me the dishes are clean. I also like the fact that it has two separate spray arms for upper and lower and that I can choose one or both to use. It has a cutlery tray along with separated silverware baskets which is a plus in my book Although I had to study quite a bit to learn all the functions they seem to work great. Two things I dont like: Number one is -- customer service I never got the correct answer to my question when installing. They seem to have no clue They were sort of helpful when I called to try to login to the website. Still cant log in but the lady registered my product for me. The second thing is -- The water doesnt get hot until the last rinse cycle which to me doesnt seem like the dishes will get cleaned or sterilized very well. And the third and last thing -- There is no heating element to dry the dishes and I have to end up drying them by hand or keeping them in the washer for a couple days with the door open.

Bought in January. Delays in delivery. Due to weather and then being lost in delivery warehouse. Finally delivered installed but doesnt work. Error message indicates not draining. I have no cell service at my house. Have to drive least 30 minutes for service. Told buy AI to check installation to be sure hose is not compromised. Everything thing with installation is good. Everytime I try to set up repair service website and phone call takes me back to the beginning of troubleshooting with the same results. I cannot get through to a real person to set up service call. Now the month of February is almost over and I still have not been able to use my brand new dishwasher.

We bought this LDFN4542W dishwasher 2.5 years ago. My wife liked how it worked except for the touch buttons that I accidentally pressed every time I unloaded it. However the pump died after 2.5 years. Now I have a choice: pay the full price of the dishwasher for a part ABT72989206 and labor in my area and hope nothing else breaks or search for a new dishwasher. I can do a pump replacement by myself but still ~$340 for a part is half of its price.
The support team tried to be helpful but after 3 days of communication I have 0 results. The Presidential Liaison Team just gave a courtesy call which I couldnt take at that moment I responded to their SMS and I never heard from them again. Sorry LG but this is not what people want or expect from such a brand. I wish we could all pay a little more and have appliances and companies that care about quality. LG youve lost another customer.

I bought this as part of the black Friday sale. I paid for both installation of the new unit and removal of the old one. The dishwasher arrived on December 7. Its still sitting in the middle of my kitchen.
LG blames RXO the vendor they selected. Ive called several times. The call center is useless. All they can say is that We called RXO and they need a licensed installer. It has been 7 weeks. They cant get them to call me. They cant even offer a hint of when it might be installed.
Our of desperation I messaged the marketing department via Facebook. They assigned me a Presidential Team Liaison. That person messaged me that day -- on January 5th. I have not had contact from anyone since. My text messages to that person have gone unanswered.

Bought this dishwasher November 10 of 2023 and it was installed a week later.
This dishwasher is very different from my old one and feel that Ive had enough time to get used to it. But I really dont like how the racks are designed and dishes dont fit easily in racks so have to constantly be moving them around over the 5 to 6 days between washes. It also takes 2 hrs and 29 minutes for a normal load of dishes to run which is rediculous..

We broke our lower freeze drawer in our refrigerator. We contacted LG Technical Support. They were so helpful. They emailed the repair instructions and provided the part number for the slide we needed. We ordered the part and replaced it...Our drawer now works great.

Purchased unit in November and are very satisfied. We like the silverware tray and the multi-directional sprayers. The dishes come exceptionally clean especially the utensils. There is wasted space on bottom rack between the two rows of tines. A lot quieter than our previous machine though there are a few moments during wash cycle that are louder than than the rest.

My unit is 15 months old and not longer working. I tried repeatedly to talk with someone about the control boad issue without success. I understand the 12 month warranty for service was past due but the warranty for the control board is 24 month. I wasnt looking for help with labor. Just warranty service for the part.
Agter being told the repair and part would be about $400 and the fact that you cannot talk with anyone at LG I have decided not to use LG products in the future.

I bought the unit in June and it was a big improvement from my 15 year old dishwasher. The 3rd rack is great. Its pretty quiet and the dishes get very clean. The one thing I am quite disapointed in is there is a lot of condensation after the drying cycle and the dishes are usually still wet when I open the dishwasher. I called about it and was told to add rinse aid separate from what is in the pods. We will see if that works.
