Bought this after Thanksgiving to replace a 13 year old dishwasher that was starting to fail. Easy to use nice features cleans the dishes thoroughly love the 3rd rack Cycles just take a long time - best to kick it off at night. If need something during the day run the Turbo wash.

Starting receiving an HE error code after 2 years and now it will only work on the turbo mode. This dishwasher has the heater element integrated to the motor which is ridiculous. No warranty for this large and expensive component and my only choices are to either pay more money than its worth to have a tech. look at the product or repair it myself. I have all LG appliances and the displays on the oven and microwave stopped working at the 1.5 year mark. I have already had to replace the oven heating element myself. These products are junk and generally more expensive to pay someone to fix than to repair myself.

Everything was fine for the first year and a half when I had the dishwasher but then I experienced a back up in my sink which evidently overflowed into the dishwasher. I called Service and they referred me to their website which had some troubleshooting remedies. When that failed I called customer service and their only remedy was to have a service man come out With a flat rate of $350. That was totally unacceptable since the dishwasher was less than double that. I let the decision to use their service sit for a while and when I tried the dishwasher again it evidently dried out to where it worked and has been working fine since. I just saved myself $350 no thanks to LG.

The thing stopped working after only 8 months. It would start a load and then beep over and over and shut off. Even before that and after I had it repaired it doesnt do a very good job at cleaning the dishes. I guess at $500 you get what you pay for.

Dishwasher itself may be okay. Support and service are terrible beyond words. Not knowing how to work the dishwasher at my new condo and unable to find explanations online--there was no brochure--I called customer service. The service reps are only trained for electrical issues and told me to turn off the breaker switch. They do not understand how to service appliances. I was put in a queue to get a callback from LG Service. Do not recommend this. Several days later I got a call from someone with an accent that made her hard to follow. Swear I could hear roosters in the background for a completely unprofessional effect. First she asked what my phone number was. I responded that she had just called the number. Then she put me on a long hold while looking up information on local independent service companies. I told her I had already contacted an independent service provider. The neighborhood appliance store said they wont sell LGs due to poor service. They are right.

My dishwasher worked for about 3 months and now it doesnt work at all. I have tried to schedule warranty repair 3 times but the service people either cancel the appointment or just ignore it. I would never recommend LG for anything mainly based on the poor service.

I had this dishwasher installed on November 21 and it worked exactly 17 days before breaking down. Ive had it repaired once the repair did not even last today and I cant seem to get anybody out here in any expeditious manner. It wont be until January 3 before someone comes out to look at it which means this dishwasher will be at least 6 to 7 weeks old and I was only able to use it for 17 days

The dishwasher works as expected. Dishes come out clean. Filter is easy to clean. The control panel on the outside is very inconvenient as machine is accidentally turned on constantly.

The LG repair person was so unprofessional that I will never buy an LG product again. He showed up late sloppy rude and when he did a very poor job of reinstalling my dishwasher he left the job unfinished. He was lazy and tried to install it 2-3 inches sticking out when it was flush before he started. A second repair person. Stalled it correctly in 5 minutes another day.

We installed this dishwasher about a month ago in my sons house. So far it has been working great. It was easy to install and all is doing the things it should do. My son has no issues and likes the cleanly ness on his dishes. He really like the small item tray at the very top. it is really handy. Time will tell the rest of the story.

1 very quiet 2 even with extra dry end of cycle it leaves water droplets on racks need help 3 very difficult to arrange pots and pans 4 very good to arrange plates glasses and bowls 5 you cannot use extra dry cycle only.

Like all our other appliances which are LG they get the job done. Every appliance we have besides our gas stove is LG. We havent had any troubles with them for over 15 years. The over the stove microwave is about 5 years old after another name brand gave out in 2 years. This dishwasher get our pots and pans clean without pre-washing. The dishes are the same way. I really didnt think the 3rd top rack made any difference. It cleans our long utensils like they where on the bottom rack. We really enjoy watching tv without all the noise from the dishwasher. It runs very quite. The direct drive motor is the same as are wash machine. LG appliances last and thats why we buy them. I installed this dishwasher without buying a single part. It uses the standard dishwasher hook ups. That saves time and money. Easy to install. We got a great price with all the discounts. Buy LG because they get the gob done and they last for years.

No issues with the dishwasher itself but the installation was a mess and calling LG customer service was even worse. The installers showed up with no tools-not even a screwdriver and refused to install the dishwasher. I then called customer service who said well have someone call you within 48 hours to schedule service. No one did and I ended up having a plumber install the dishwasher as it was around the time of Thanksgiving. I called customer service and got passed around like a hot potato to people who spoke limited english and transferred me to different departments. I have yet to get refunded for the installation cost $169.99 and the haul away $25 after ordering on 11/10. I wish I had ordered from Home Depot instead of dealing with this nonsense. Customer service provider seemed to be reading off a script and was not helpful at all. Heads up if you are wanting a dishwasher installed I was told you need an electrician/plumber to remove the old dishwasher before they can install the new one. Thats if the LG installers show up with the tools.

Im very pleased with this dishwasher. Its large so I can have many dishes cleaned quicker. There is a lot of room for cutlery so I always have clean forks when I need them. Its smudge-proof so the stainless steel always looks clean. I highly recommend recommend.

I bought this brand/model because it was on sale and closer to reasonable price than most.
It has the 3rd top rack which is nice but I need more space for small pet bowls and the bottom rack is best for large utensils.Not quite what I wanted. Front controls are so sensitive the machine turns on while I am working on the counter above it. Did not have that issue with a previous front control machine I used for many years.

I bought this 2.5 years ago and have been complaining to repair people since I got it about how bad it cleans.Turns out the pump has probably been bad since I got it but since its past the 2 years I had to pay for the repairs labor and they covered just the pump. Another problem is that the rails for the upper rack stick out just a little when you push it in so it is denting the stainless steel liner of the door. I will not buy another LG device for my home again. I was also warned by the repair company not to buy ANY LG fridge or freezer and the other household appliances are hit or miss. I am extremely disappointed in the quality of this unit

Ive had this dishwasher for 2 weeks now and for the most part I am satisfied with its performance to a point. The glaring deficiency is that the dishwasher does not stop its cycle if you open the door while it is on. Ive many dishwashers in the past and every one of them would shut down if the door is opened. I tried to explain this to customer service rep but she ignored my concern and try to say that its normal for the washer to do thatwhich is totally false. I asked for her supervisor and she claimed that no one was available. She refused to assist me any further and it was fruitless to continue with her. Even the installer said that this is not normal operation.

The cycle never finishes because the unit overheats. Ive had 4 LG technicians out to repair it and the unit still doesnt work. LG will not refund me or replace the unit. They just keep sending people out to my house to try and fix it. Its a total waste of everyones time and resources. I just want a refund.
