I bought the first unit a month ago and three weeks later it didnt heat up. LG claimed there was a problem with gas pressure. according to the ridiculous self-testing procedure they have you go through. I called the gas specialists from my local utility who said that my gas pressure was perfect and confirmed it since my other gas appliances worked fine. The retailer gave me a brand-new unit. One week later it too didnt heat up. I called my gas service provider again who did an even more detailed check that came up with no gas line pressure problem. I then called a private licensed plumber who confirmed that the dryer had sufficient gas. Fortunately my retailer has been very cooperative during this issue which as of today is ongoing. Imagine LG sent me this request to do a review today. What they should do is send an expert to my home immediately to find out what is wrong with their dryers.

I bought my dryer 4 months ago and almost right away I started getting a random diagnostic code. It didnt happen every time. I eventually got through to customer service and they sent out a local technician. They have now been out 3 times supposedly rewired the dryer and put in a new igniter and it is STILL not working It is 4 months old and it was not the cheapest dryer we could find. I expected more from LG products. I also bought a washing machine at the same time and that has also had to have parts replaced because it started leaking during the spin cycle. I am very disappointed with my LG appliances. Customer service has mostly been helpful in getting a technician out.

Dryer works great. I love the door that opens two different ways which makes loading and unloading clothes much easier. There are lots of options for cycles so Im still figuring it out. I wasnt sure if the wifi feature would be useful but its nice to get notifications on my phone for cycle ending reminders to clean the lint tray etc.

This is the second dryer we got as the first one that was delivered didnt work. We were very frustrated with the LG tech support and the support of the retailer from which it was purchased. But after waiting a couple of weeks we received the second dryer and it works great. I love the way the door opens in both directions making loading and unloading clothes very convenient and easy. Im still figuring out all the features and settings.

We bought this until at the beginning of August after our old dryer stopped heating. With a family of five our laundry was backing up quickly. We were eager to get back to keeping up with it all. The unit washer too was delivered without issue. The dryer was properly hooked up and all the plastic was taken off. We looked over the manual and started drying the first load. After a little while we checked the clothes and they were cold. Our brand new dryer wasnt heating or drying our clothes. We checked the manual and did all the trouble shooting. Our gas supplier was called and everything checked out fine. We called Home Depot who we bought the unit through. After several phone calls we had a service apppintment and a few phone calls after that we had a replacement unit coming. The service appointment was scheduled for a week later and the replacement was scheduled for two weeks later. The technician never showed up for our service appointment and didnt call to let us know he/she wouldnt be coming the window was from 8-5 and my husband waited at home all day. The following day we received a message that the service appointment was reschuled for 4 days later. Mind you we still dont have a working dryer. We havent had it fixed and we still dont have a dryer that works because the replacement is on back order. School clothes baseball/softball uniforms football uniforms bed sheets etc. will continue to be shuttled around town to family and friends with dryers that work.
Needless to say we are less than thrilled. Hopefully if we get a working dryer and some compensation for rhe headache and extra work that this has caused us we can change our review.

Initially a good upgrade to 12 year old or more. After 4 months of light use the 9A5 error came up and unit had no heat. Had to schedule tech to come out and replace the igniter. They just dont make anything to last anymore. Hopefully that was a fluke and we will get longer use out of this one.

My dryer was delivered one month ago. There was a bit of a hiccup at first because my dry kept making a loud noise when it was running. I wanted a new dryer immediately. Instead LG sent a technician out who spent at least two hours taking the machine apart.
when he put it back together the noise had disappeared. Im now a happy camper and Im enjoying the use of my new dryer.

Ive had this dryer for almost a month and I really like it. That you can open the door from both the side and the top is so convenient--access is always easy regardless of what is in the laundry room or where. The capacity is HUGE. The lint catcher is right in the front of the machine and I swear it catches everything. No more little bits of forgotten tissue to pull off clothing. Honestly its probably got too many bells and whistles for my needs but youll pry it from my cold dead hands.

Bought this dryer November 2022. It has not functioned properly since I had it. The igniter does not work and therefore my clothes never get dry. I have had the LG specialist take a look at it and it is still giving a code that it is not working. Waiting for another visit from a LG technician. I would like a replacement or refund if this continues to be a problem.

So disappointed We ran maybe 5 loads of laundry through it and now there is no heat. We contacted LG to come repair it and they said we had to contact the gas company first to come out and check our gas pressure. Luckily we still had our old dryer to fall back on to dry our clothes which ran fine on our gas with no issue.

I bought the washer and dryer set back in 2019 and let me tell you hand down best washer and dryer Ive ever had. So much that when I moved and had to get a new set I bought it again. Great machines Id recommend 10/10. Good enough to buy twice. Just got this set this week 11/14/22 and I went with the stainless steel instead of the white I previously had and I love it. Has a ton of space too And the door opened two ways. Love it.

Ive had the DLG7401VE dryer and matching washing machine for a month. What a pleasure it is to do laundry these days using the LG machines especially as compared to the washer/dryer they replaced. Even with a full load including a few bath towels drying time is usually under and hour. This compares to 2+ hours with my old machine.
Of course youd expect that with a newer machine and after having cleared out the airduct. But I anticipate the LG washer/dryer will serve the needs of my family for years to come.
