HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE dryer arrived 12 days later than originally scheduled. Even though we paid for installation they didnt bother connecting the dryer to the dryer vent.. When we pulled the dryer out we found all kinds of garbage and extra parts they just shoved under there. Good luck trying to talk to anyone at LG about any issues you have I am so disappointed in our experience with this dryer and our range which SHOT GLASS ACROSS OUR KITCHEN ALMOST HITTING MY DAUGHTER the third time using it. They canceled our repair TWICE and the latest reason we were told thats not covered.

Nice looking overall design. The machine is easy to use and is very quiet. I love the tunes it plays at the end of the cycle.
My only small con is it tends to leave the clothes a little less dry even though I use the proper setting.

Much quieter than my previous Gas dryer and does seem to be more efficient. Does such a good job of avoiding wrinkles that I dont have to use fabric softener sheets as much. Filter is easy to clean.

The technician that was scheduled to come to my home to repair my dryer never showed up and he never had the decency to let me know that he was running late nor did he say he was not showing up at all. The question I have for LG is that repair parts were mailed to my home but since the technician never showed up I canceled the repair work altogether. I took a day off from work and the technician never even showed up. That is unacceptable. Please do not send out that technician to any other customers of yours. They will be disappointed. The parts that were mailed to my home should I dispose of them since they were never used?

just bought the LG WT7005CW washer and the LG DLG7001W dryer and they are different colors of white. Makes no sense why LG uses different white colors nor tells its customers they wont match in color.

Purchased about a month ago based on recommendation from consumer reports. At first I thought the dryer wasnt working since it would shut off after a few minutes. Had the local company send a repairman who couldnt find anything wrong then LG sent a repairman and he said I probably had a clogged vent pipe. Had my vent pipe checked to find a blockage. Once fixed dryer worked great Dryer was able to show an error code that told the technician about the blocked Vent and probably prevented a fire.

Purchased dryer 12 months and 3 weeks when it failed out of its one year warranty. The flat rate fee repair arranged for by LG involved two minor parts that largest being an igniter. The flat fee was $400 turning my $800 purchase just over 3 weeks a year ago into a $1200 mistake. The rep said he could try to run it up the chain and get it covered but that would take time snd no guarantee meanwhile I had no working dryer. LG has joined my Never Again list. Just purchased a Whirlpool fridge.

Less than a year old and already broken. Worse than that is the customer service. Tech support forced me to call the gas company before they would send a technician. Insisted that the gas pressure was the issue. After the gas company came and gave the all clear tech support wanted proof of the visit. Nearly a month without a dryer before the technician arrived. Took him 10 minutes to locate and replace the failed part igniter.

I bought my LG dryer a little over two months ago. It worked perfectly until about one month in when it made a really high pitched noise and it stopped tumbling. I called the LG customer support and they were really professional and efficient. They sent a repairman who came out a few days later. I thought the dryer was a lemon but the repairman gave it a thorough check and he found a small piece of my grandsons batman cape that got stuffed into the dryer vent. So the repairman took it out and the dryer now works perfectly Not a lemon just my two year old grandson. Plus LG didnt charge me

I bought this dryer about a month ago and just love it. It replaced an 18-year-old Whirlpool Cabrio. Its easy to use and I love that the lint filter is inside the machine as opposed to the top. The only minor negative with my old dryer you could look through the door at your clothes. But obviously not a deal breaker. Great features and options for the appropriate type of fabric youre drying.

I am so disappointed in my dryer. It doesnt dry the cloths . Everytime I call for service they do a check over the phone.. first they said it was the air flow then they said it was a gas leak. We clear the code and it still doesnt work. They will not send someone out to look at it. This has been an on going problem since I purchased it in September..I have reached out to Lowes and they said I had to get in touch with lg. Lg said its an LG problem.

Loud Buzzing/Ratting Noise from bottom of Unit

Dryer functions just fine but in the last month its developed a loud buzzing/rattling noise coming from the bottom of the unit. I had two different technicians come out. The first took it all apart and said nothing was wrong with it and added some felt tape in some places. Still loud. Second technician came out and pointed to a small dent near the top/rear of the unit and said because of that there is nothing to fix even though the noise is coming from the bottom of the unit. So other than the super loud buzzing noise that drives my wife crazy unit functions just fine...for now.

The dryer has not worked since it was installed four weeks ago. I have been working with LG to get a repair company to fix the problem since it is under warranty with no luck. LGs customer service just gives you their standard answers and just drags their feet and will not listen that the repair company is not giving me a repair date.

The LG dryer was installed over two weeks ago and it does not dry. I have called LG multiple times and all I get is the run around. I keep getting told that the repair service will call but it has been over two weeks and I cannot get them to return my call.
Not only did I buy a dryer but a washer dishwasher refrigerator and stove all LG products for this rental unit. I spent thousands of dollars and I cannot get anyone to help me get the dryer fixed.
I have LG products at my home and definitely will think twice about any additional products.
