I bought this in September. Cant stand wasting time at dirty laundry mats..I chose this dryer because the drum is higher than most so much easier to reach the clothes when taking them out. Very quiet as well..

I purchased this dryer from Lowes for a rental unit. Delivery from Lowes was smooth. However the tenant informed me 2 days later after expiration of Lowes 48 hour return policy for appliances that the dryer never worked properly. It starts runs for 2 or 3 minutes then stops. It does this repeatedly in all settings sensors dry timed dry etc.. The vent is clear and hot air from the exhaust duct is flowing freely. I had an electrician check the circuit plug and power cord - no issues with any of those. After submitting an online service request to LG on Friday with details about the problem LG never sent a technician and instead texted me just now on a Monday night that this issue is not covered by Lgs limited manufacturers warranty. I would adv u to reach out to your dealer so that they couldve assist you further with your concern. Again LG has analyzed NOTHING about this dryer its brand new it doesnt work and they tell me with no analysis that the issue whatever it is is not covered by their warranty? Are they kidding? Ive had an LG gas dryer at my home for nearly 12 years with NO issues and I have several other LG appliances serving me well a refrigerator 12 years stove 12 years and a washer. Its bad enough that LG has provided me with what appears to be a non-functional dryer but on top of that is this how LG treats a long time customer? Its appalling

We had flow problems initially. After the vent cleaning was done and the air flowed strongly the machine still acted as if there were flow problems and would shut down after only a few minutes. We had to restart the drier several times before our clothes were dry.

I purchased this dryer less than a month ago. It drys greatextra large capacity. The only issue is it has a loud vibration with start up. After it runs a few minutes it quites down. The knockout for your vent was very hard to get out. Wasnt properly cut out like it showed.

I bought a pair dryer and washer machine at Lowes and I regret I did that because the washer is not working properly so I went back to return or exchange it after 5 days the store manager told me I had only 48 hours returning policy which not mentioned on the receipt. I am stuck with it and now I have to go to a laundromat every time I need to do laundry until I buy another one.

We have had this dryer for less than a month and it has never worked properly. I tried to return it to Lowes who directed me to LG who directed me back to Lowes and we did that several times until LG sent a repairman for a BRAND NEW dryer. No matter the setting no matter the load size he laundry is never fully dry at the end of the cycle and LG and Lowes will not take it back. My 30 day warranty is up in 3 days and I suspect I will be stuck with this junk appliance unless I file a lawsuit in small claims court.

I am so disappointed in this dryer. It does not dry clothes. I have called for help to no avail. I can only use the permanent press cycle to halfway dry the clothes. Really disappointed in a brand that is supposed to be a good product. Would not recommend.

I bought this dryer 3 months ago and it has been horrible ever since it was installed. It constantly overheats and burns our clothes. I have reached out for a warranty repair and the repairman said there was nothing wrong with the dryer but it consistently is so hot that you cannot pick up the clothes mid-cycle and is leaving burn marks over several clothing items.
Additionally the moisture sensor does not work well and the dryer often stops on Normal Delicate and Perm Press cycles but the clothes inside are still wet.

I bought this to replace our 15-year old dryer. It is the match to our washer which is what led us to it in the first place. Its nice. Has a bunch of bells and whistles. Im a little disappointed in a few aspects though. The energy saver setting is only able to be used on a select few settings and never on low heat. The normal dry level ALWAYS leaves the clothes damp. I also have to run it for another 20 minutes after that to dry everything completely. The settings are almost all preset. I cannot for example select normal drying with low heat. Normal has to have medium heat. The only setting other than the preset timed settings 20 40 and 60 min that allows low heat is the delicates cycle. Its a nice dryer but would I get it again? Probably not. Its a 3-star average dryer. If I hadnt caught it on a good sale July 4th it would probably be a little less than that.

I bought this in July- new from Lowes and it has already broken. Ive only washed clothes and bedding but that cause there to be damage somehow on the drum. I called for a repair and the first repair man canceled then I had to call again to set up for a new repairman to come. He took a look at it and ordered the parts hopefully the repair will begin next week. I havent been able to dry my clothes now for 3 weeks

Ive had the dryer for several months and have to keep checking to make sure it is using hot air. It will run but sometimes I dont know until I got to check on them. It will just keep running because the clothes are getting dry on the sensor side. After changing the cycle a couple of times it seems to work itself out or for whatever reason will start using the heating element.

After 20 years my old dryer was falling apart and washer died so bought a new set. Dryer works best for me if I set it on number of minutes to dry. Like the dryer but it seems to have a very deep drum to reach into for the fry clothes.

Well actually I dont know how well it works since it has not worked since the day it was delivered. I bought it from Home Depot and did not get a chance to set it up within the 48 hour period. Once I did get it installed it would not turn on.
After numerous calls with Home Depot and LG they still have not sent a repairman out to fix the unit.
The delivery guys said they have a lot of problems with this model.
