Purchased this appliance from Lowes. Installation was flawless and the fridge works great. As other reviewers have mentioned, the motor is a little louder than expected but, I understand it's normal. To early to comment on ice maker and temp changes in the crisper area. Will update after November.

I've had my refrigerator for a week now. It gets really cold which is great and keeps up with ice production for a family of four. Only thing I wish was different was the condiment shelves on the left side door are too shallow. If they could be deeper it would make storing items much easier.

I bought this fridge a month ago and it is exactly what I wanted. I had to order it online from Lowe's waited 2 weeks for shipping and delivery. This model is an updated version of a maytag fridge I bought many years ago. I love the redesign of the large pull tray shelf at the bottom. I love the ice cube option of crush or cube. The fridge is little noise when running you can barely hear it. I definitely made the right choice.

We ordered this refrigerator on December 22, 2018. It arrived on March 22, 2019. Maytag, why did it take so long? I have purchased Maytag appliaances before and have been happy with them. With this type of customer service, I doubt I'll ever purchase anything from Maytag ever again. The jury is still out on this appliance. It seems, every time I open the door and then close it, the motor starts ramping up again, like it's trying to play catch up. I hope that's not indicating a problem. It's noiser than any other refrigerator I've had.

Happy to have a new fridge with such a great warranty. I am concerned, however, with the flimsy quality of the vegetable and fruit drawers. They are very lightweight and tend to stick when being pushed back in. Seems that a fridge that cost this much would have more sturdy drawers. Also, ice comes out of door too fast. Hard to get the right amount in your glass without filling it too full or having ice fall onto the floor. Otherwise, we are very pleased with our new fridge.

I have owned this refrigerator for 3 weeks and so far it has met my expectations. The ICE maker and water dispenser work great (better than most models I have had in the past). The French Doors are the only thing I have noticed that could be an issue. When you close one of the doors the other door will sometimes pop open slightly and it is not open enough to set off the open door alarm. I have caught this when I have shut the doors but I have three children and they do not always see the door pop open. I will be checking to see if I can adjust the door to fix this issue. Overall it is a great fridge!

We bought this to replace our old GE that died. Specifically we were looking for a non-stainless black French door fridge with a bottom freezer. This Maytag, not only has the comfort of the name and warranty behind it, but is beautiful and very functional. Everything is wide open, visible, and easily accessible, with plenty of adjustable options for any sizes. The only thing more I might have asked for is the icemaker in the freezer. The icemaker is pretty small and a little bit of a challenge to remove for taking out larger quantities of ice. You do hear the ice fall, but we have had that in all our refrigerators, so I do not feel that's an issue. Otherwise you don't hear the fridge "working" at all. For the price this model is great. We love it!

This is my second french door, bottom freezer refrigerator because I love them. I changed brands this time to avoid the previous problem. Since the delivery there has been small shards of plastic film showing in the joints of various parts that compose the doors etc. The ice maker works but the control arm will not shut off production so ice jams in the dispenser. Cubes are not always full size and sometime crushed is dispensed too. Will probably have to call for service soon to get this resolved. Never had a ice maker problem with a new fridge before.

We bought it about 3weeks ago and have been pretty happy with it. We were so happy that it fit in the small space we had and could open all the drawers when the doors opened. The only thing we didn't like was the water doesn't come out very cold.
