We were in the market for a new frig and after an extensive review we decided on Maytag. Our old frig was 18 cu ft and we were surprised to see that the Maytag 22 cu ft was just slightly larger than our old frig. It was really great to get this larger unit in a size that fits! We are in the process of updating all our kitchen appliances and decided to go with the stainless steel. We are really impressed with the fingerprint resistance surface. It truly does
works! The lighting is really bright even when the frig is full. We love the pull out bottom freezer and the units is quiet. We had a small issue with one of the crisper draws being damaged but the Maytag Customer Service department was outstanding in their response and sent a one out the same day we contacted them.

I bought this fridge two months ago to accompany the beautiful Maytag stove I bought in July. They look great together. The fridge is quite large with lots of shelves. I like everything about it. So much quieter than my old Kenmore fridge. I have always had a Maytag washer & dryer but this is the first time I have had Maytag kitchen appliances and I am so happy with them.

Love my new Maytag bottom freezer/ fridge!!, with ice maker! Haven't had an ice maker for over 20 yrs!! Sometimes the ice, makes my ice water, taste funky?! But, when your water coming out of the faucet, tastes like sewer water, even with a water softener! Whattayado?! I love that I can go to the fridge, not having to bend over, to look for something!! It's awesomeness! Runs quiet,,had to get used to the sound of the ice dropping, in the freezer!..LOL!! Even the dog had to get used to that noise! LOL!
Thanks you Maytag! I hope this new one, lasts as long as my old Maytag fridge, I bought 20 yrs ago! I put it in the basement, using it down there! It still runs like a charm! Never has skipped a beat!

Now....if Whirlpool would start making the timer motor AGAIN, for the Maytag automatic washer dial....that would be GREAT! Had my Maytag washer/dryer set since early1980's! Still going strong! But, will need a new timer motor,,that is discontinued! I don't want to have to purchase a new washer! I like mine!
Dryer element just went out on Tuesday! First time ever!! At least I can still get that part!!
Thanks Maytag! For making quality products! One thing I don't like, about the ice maker/freezer. If ice drops down into the bottom floor of the freezer, it's hard to get out, with the wire shelving/baskets.!!! Otherwise.... I would purchase this again!!

I bought this about a month ago, it seems to work very well, I really didn't want an ice maker, was told this did not have one but when it was delivered one was on this model, probably will not use it.. Overall seems to work well just seems a little noisier than I thought it would be.

We moved from a two door side by side. What a great layout with the bottom freezer drawer and the single door refrigeration section. Seems to be a lot more room with this configuration and the extra wide shelf on the door for large items is great.

Bought this 3 weeks ago, problem with the door complwyely closing, stops about 4 inches from closed and then needs to be 'pushed' the rest of the way, not good. Releveled unit several times trying to solve problem. The lower refrigerator drawer is not smooth to close, very rough operating, removed it several times yo reset to no avail.
Seems to run a lot, you can tell because it's noisy. Internally it looks identical to my old Sears fridge it replaced. Pass this Maytag refrigerator up, a lot of money for poor quality.

I've had the refrigerator for a month. I like the look, feel and finger resistant stainless steel. It feels solid and operates quietly. Flexible storage options and storage space. Like the half shelves, though the shelf back center supports restrict movement of items left or right. Like having the big gallon shelf at the bottom of door which is accomplished by having the deli draw the same depth as the vegetable/fruit draws. Like the bright lighting system that lights up the whole refrigerator and draw compartments. The freeze is good size with flexible storage options. My only dislikes: can't remove ice-maker, and deli/vegetable/fruit compartments are kind of cheap (wish they were on rollers instead of just sliding).

I have had side-by-side, French door, water and ice in the door refrigerators in the past and wouldn't have any of those again. The side-by-side with freezer on one side and fridge on the other makes you bend down to see your food on the lower levels and the shelves are narrow. The French door with bottom freezer has limited fridge space. The ice and water in the door requires filter replacement and repairs when it breaks - and it always breaks. And the icemaker in the door takes up a huge amount of fridge space.
This model is one I've had in a second home in the past and loved it, so I bought it again. You can actually see all of your food because it is at eye level; no more stooping to look at the lower shelves. The same is true of your frozen items - easy to sort them in the compartments and easy to see what you have. And the fridge shelves are wide! No problem with party trays or the holiday turkey. It also has a sleek look fits in nicely with today's modern décor. Big hit and so glad I bought it!!!

I have had this fridge for 2 weeks the door will not close when you push it shut. Unless I physically close it all the way it remains open. Not used to this. No other fridge I have ever had has done this. It has always been quite the opposite.

Our 10 year old Maytag died and we had to replace it...we had a very tight space with limited options so we bought the newest version of the fridge we had. It's ok. The features of the older fridge were better. Shelf quality was better. The old shelves didn't fit in the fridge so we're stuck with the current offering. Doesn't seem to be shelf accessories available to "upgrade" either.

We did a lot of searching for the right refrigerator for our home and this was it. We searched for almost 2 months, weighing all the options and not so good ones. This fridge is quiet, a great freezer with pull out drawers, instead of opening to the side. The ice maker works perfectly producing small ice cubes instead of the huge ones, which is perfect for a ice cold glass of water or whatever. The fridge itself is well lighted, lots of shelf storage in the door and main shelves. The deli drawer is a super idea someone come up with, and the outside of the fridge is a fingerprint less finish, that really is just that. All around, so far so good and hope it lasts as long as our Maytag washer and dryer.

Enjoying this refrigerator. So glad I made the purchase. Seals tight. Plenty of room with removable shelves. Having the meat and cheese pull out drawer at the bottom of the refrigerator is great since it prevents possible breakage of the drawer, which happened twice in my old refrigerator and was costly to replace. Like having the freezer on the bottom since it makes putting thing in and getting things out of the refrigerator so much easier! Also nice being able to place jugs, such as gallon ice tea, on the inside of the door as it frees up room in the refrigerator. No fingerprints show on the doors and runs quiet!

I LOVE this fridge! So happy I chose it. The outer dimensions are tight and the least obtrusive compared to other fridges with similar interior dimensions. The bottom freezer has a decent capacity (note- I still in my condo utilize a small 5 cu ft chest fzr for forward buys on meats, pizzas, etc etc). The crispers and cheese/cold cuts drawers hold a LOT compared to other bottom fzr units I have had and that I looked at when shopping for this. In fact finding a fridge that met my needs in this regard while still having decent door storage, decent upper shelf storage, and a decent fzr was key. This fridge surprisingly met all of those points. I also really LOVE the round door handles. I have not had fingerprint issues and just wipe "with the grain" with a mild dish soap dish cloth. Holding up great so far (10ish weeks). The interior shelves have lots of adjustment positions as do Door compartments. I remove the clear dome from the butter door on all my fridges as I find this enhances positioning of door shelves fyi. Overall I love this fridge, can't say enough good things about it. Great job Maytag!!! Hoping when I need a washer and dryer yours will fit the bill!

J'ai acheté ce frigo en débat d'année et bien qu'il soit bon et beau, nous avons quelques déceptions. En effet, la qualité des glissières des trois tiroirs à fruits, légumes et autres ne sont pas sur roues et glissent difficilement. Honnêtement nous nous attendons à des composantes de meilleurs qualités considérant le prix. De plus, le compresseur est assez bruyant. Mon ancien frigo était beaucoup pus silencieux et les tiroirs beaucoup plus facile à tirer et et remettre en place. Cependant, le fini anti tache est très pratique, il loge bien dans l'ensemble et la machine à glace est efficace.

This is the best refrigerator yet! It is so quite compared to any refrigerator I have ever owned! I had an inline filter installed to the back of the refrigerator line for the ice maker since there is no filter in the refrigerator (which is what I wanted it). In my opinion, the more basic the refrigerator is, the longer it will last. The ice is small & I love that! It taste so much better with the inline filter in the back!

I bought this to replace my eight year old GE French door. It is roomy than the side by side. Only thing missing is the water in door. Maytag is more sturdy. Takes strength to overcome vacuum magnet seal for we elders. Like the 10 year warranty on compressor. Only problem is beware of who delivers it.

I just got this MayTag refrigerator, it's so big, with bottom,Ice maker. So excited about my New MayTag. I placed pictures on my FB account. Just starting to stock it up & adjust my glass shelves. Very pleased with the Stainless Steel appearance, with Large Handles. Thank you MayTag, for making me Happy!

Even though our 20+ year old Maytag refrigerator was still running (and never needed any repairs), we thought it was time to buy a new one. Have had this refrigerator for 1.25 years. The refrigerator layout is excellent, allowing for a wide range of containers. You can configure the door shelves and of course, the main shelves as well. Gallon containers will fit in the bottom door shelf or in the compartment. I've arranged my condiments from mayo & ketchup to jam & hoisin sauce in the door for convenience. This frees the main compartment for bigger items. The frig truly maintains the right temperatures in both the refrigerator and freezer compartments. I've used a thermometer to check this. I agree with other reviews that the drawers seem a little flimsy. I don't think they are in danger of breaking easily, but it would be nicer if they had a more solid feel. This is a smaller cubic foot refrigerator than some, and the fruit & vegetable drawers are proportionately sized. Since I do store a lot of fresh fruits & vegetables, I often need to put some on the bottom shelf (right above the drawers). I haven't noticed any real difference in how well they keep in either location. Like I said earlier, this refrigerator keeps its cool! Customer Service note: I did have one problem about a month after the year warranty was up. I contacted Maytag and explained the problem. They troubleshooted with me which resulted in a service call at no cost to me. The problem was fixed and all is well. I encourage you to reach out to them

We have had our fridge for about a month. II really like the LED lights which makes it easy to find items in the fridge. Very quiet. Solid and well built. Probably the nicest fridge we have ever had.We bought this fridge as it was rated high on reviews. Hopefully it kast longer than our last fridge of a different brand.

I LOVE ALL THE ROOM IN THE REFRIGERATOR. ITS ALL AT EYE LEVEL SO YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING. NICE SIZE FREEZER TOO.
