2 star because I actually like it, but 2 negatives: deli drawer doesn't slide real well and the worst: the ice maker gives off small pieces of plastic in the ice. We have a reverse osmosis system so it's definitely coming from the ice maker. We had it replaced and it doesn't help.

Very disappointed with Lowe™™s. Went to store to ™see™™ appliance and was told they did not have my Maytag refrigerator on the floor but pulled it up on their website. Same info I had selected from. Since it was a special order it took 2 months to be delivered. Once installed the ice maker works great. Unfortunately the interior is so small it only holds 1/2 of the prior Hisense model it replaced. My advice, make sure you get to see the appliance before buying.

The refrigerator fit the spaces with ick is the reason we purchased it. It was pretty expensive for a small refrigerator. Its icemaker is the best feature. It makes a ton of ice and it does it well. The drawers don™™t pull out of push in nicely and the layout make it hard for storage.

Replaced a 10-year-old French-door fridge, and this was one of only two units that we found which would fit into our 30"-wide, built-in surround. Also wanted a single door - French doors look nice, but in the narrower units they're frustrating as you always have to open both doors - basically twice the work, for less useable interior space! Very happy overall with this unit - it's not fancy, but it fits and it works well for us.

Install from drimmers was a disappointment; the crew did not level the fridge. kickplate/screen at bottom arrived with broken tab so screen does not firmly snap into place or stay there. Refrigerator makes intermittent sounds (a pop then hum). leveling mechanism is clumsy. and maytag customer service seems more designed to serve maytag's processes rather than serving the customer.

I™™ve been using the refrigerator for one week. Installation was easy. I like that the shelves are easy to move around to customize my needs. I did end up removing one of them entirely to accommodate the height of jars and beverages that I use. I have been keeping track of the temperature with a thermometer. The manufacturers recommended setting is for, however I needed to put it at five to achieve safe food storage temperatures in the refrigerator. It is mostly quiet, although it does make some loud noises occasionally when the condenser kicks on. Overall, I am very happy with the fridge.

Our house is a bit old-fashioned, and its dimensions are smaller compared to today's models, so after a long search we found the Maytag and we are very happy with it. Giving it four stars because two of the drawers came with scratches. I've had Maytag send me twice now, the incorrect fruit and vegetable drawer, and used/scratched deli drawer. Other than that, I love it. Lots of room.

I™™m not certain this model number is for the first refrigerator or the replacement, but they are both inferior products. Refrigerator 1 sounded like an ice machine™" it had neither ice nor water, and the gasket wasn™™t tight, leaving a weak seal. Refrigerator 2, the replacement works well, but every hour or two, it makes a VERY loud buzzing sound, like a timer going off. Then we have the customer contact number which doesn™™t have enough humans to help.

the product is what l wanted and bought .l liked the one my son and his family bought. So,when it was time to replace it,l went for it. no water filter system. Great. Keep it simple. Do not need a water dispenser that requires a filter. Secondarily l like the ice cube shape.

Feels very cheaply made when you pull out the freezer drawer by the handle it does not pull out smoothly. It feels like cheap plastic. The drawers in the refrigerator also feel like cheap when you pull them out they don™™t come straight out. They rock side to side, very small and compact doesn™™t have an open door alarm. doesn™™t have a open door alarm no extra features at all. I tried to return it, and they won™™t allow me to return it because it was plugged in

Due to specific height constraints in our 1972 kitchen & a preference for a bottom freezer, we selected a Maytag refrigerator. It functions well, though we noted its capacity is 1.5 cu. ft. smaller than our previous Whirlpool top-freezer model, requiring minor adjustments to storage. The product itself is satisfactory.
However, we experienced significant issues with Home Depot's third-party delivery & setup service, which was highly disappointing. Our attempts to resolve this with Home Depot staff, both in person & via email, have unfortunately been unsuccessful.

Overall a decent fridge but lacks in quality parts on the interior. Drawers don't slide very well, some of the plastic pieces are rather cheap and breaks easily. But what we are most disappointed with is that this model does not have any water filter for the ice maker and that the ice maker gives the ice a plasticy, chemically taste which we are still waiting for it to clear.

Horrible quality for the price!! Drawers have no rollers. Plastic on plastic. Told me to grease with Petroleum jelly! The humidity adjustment broke with in the first twelve hours of use. Very poor quality and design. The handle was loose and hanging with in the first week..I'm so very unhappy!! 2k I paid for something looks like it was built in a third world country. .

I bought my new fridge a couple of months ago and so far I really like it. My only problem with it is when they change the door handle and at the top of the fridge they moved the hinge but now there™™s no cover over where the hinge used to be. I really thing some kind of cover should be there.

bought this about 2 months ago, overall very happy with it but the ice maker is designed very poorly. The ice maker continues to make ice even when bucket is full so consequently when you open door to the bottom freezer and pull out the top shelf, the bar to the ice maker forces the ice to spill out onto your floor. This is a pita and a design flaw because it should stop making ice before there is too much ice in the bucket to prevent this from happening. Yes you can manually turn off ice maker with the on/off switch but this isn't designed as user friendly. Also the plastic horizontal divider takes up too much valuable space in the top shelf and doesn't really help.

This is my first freezer-on-the bottom refrigerator and I just love it. Having all the food at eye level makes so much more sense than having the freezer at eye-level. I was worried about the extra food at holidays fitting in the slightly smaller fridge, but with some maneuvering, it all fit. (The older fridge had a bit more space.) My only wish is that the shelves were complete level front to back. A lemonade bottle fits fine in the front half of the shelf, but if I try to push it to the back of the shelf, the fit gets tighter because of the shelf slant.

I love my new Maytag refrigerator/freezer. There's plenty of room for everything, I love the freezer drawer on the bottom, there are plenty of shelves in the refrigerator part and it runs very quietly. I no longer have to keep adjusting yhe volume on the television like I had to with my old one! The only thing it took a while to get used to is the "clunk and whir-ing" noise it makes when the fan adjusts itself. I had to look it up on-line to figure out what this noise was and apparently that's what it is and it's kind of loud and startling sometimes. Otherwise it's perfect!

I have had the refrigerator for two weeks now and I am very pleased with it. The fingerprint resistant finish is really fingerprint resistant! I like all the space in the refrigerator and I especially like the full width storage bin to hold all my cheeses and other small items. Everything is at eye level.

I love this fridge for the look. I wanted the larger capacity, however it would not fit under my cabinet. (My kitchen is too small to give up cabinet space) Everything in the fridge is great, I specifically wanted the split shelves. The loss of a star is due to the drawer action. The produce and deli drawer are just plastic on plastic, and they do not open smoothly. You cannot open the deli drawer with one hand, and it kind of just falls out when open. (Especially if you are trying to get something in the back of the drawer.) Freezer is like any other, you put stuff in and forget it is there. The handles look nice. It is finger print resistant, and the non-stainless side that is exposed doesn't look bad.

I purchased this refrigerator as a replacement for a 25-year-old Kenmore refrigerator. I needed this specific size due to custom cabinets and i wanted the fridge top freezer bottom. Unfortunately, the Maytag has half the room that the Kenmore fridge had. I was able to store full size aluminum pans of food (catering pans) on every shelf in my old Kenmore, the Maytag is lucky to fit 2 pans after emptying the entire top shelf of its contents. There are 3 drawers, and the bottom drawer is completely useless with limited capacity for maybe shredded cheese or lunch meat. The configuration of the brackets on the shelves creates separation that was not there in my old fridge. Overall, if i did not need to replace my last fridge, i don't think i would have purchased this fridge because of it's limited capacity. I live in Chicago, and you cannot even put a pizza box in this fridge!

Overall, I do like the refrigerator. The bins and drawers are not very substantial and do not slide in and out easily even after putting silicone on the slides. After one week, ice started melting in the freezer and I had to increase the settings to "5" from the recommended "4". It would be nice if the deli drawer were a bit deeper to fit sandwich meat and cheese blocks without having to shave them down.
