The stove top runs REALLY HOT!!! Even on LOW it™™s waaaayyy hotter than it should be. You want to be VERY vigilant, and careful when cooking on this stove. The oven seems to be okay so far. Hope this review helps.

light bulb came broken inside the oven, had to request a replacement, also the installer did not install it because i have a downdraft vent in the floor and told me to hire an electrician to take it out and left, i took out the 8 screws and took out the fan in the floor and level the oven because it was uneven install it myself, i also paid for the installation, the electric stove work good though and i look nice.

Good buy! It works great. I like how you can adjust the temperature to the oven to hotter or cooler if you feel that the temp isn't correct. But I have not had to do that.

Been using the Hotpoint electric stove for the past couple of days it's very nice, I had it professionally installed, it's very easy to use, easy to clean as well, simple features that are easy to understand. The oven is surprisingly spacious, I see no difference except for price between Hotpoint and other top brands.

Might just be me but the large burnet and small burners are in each other's spots. I grew up on big burnet left front not, left rear. Right rest not right front. Anyway it seems unhandy and crowded. Also I light 5he oven light to come on ad you open the door. Just unhandy issues. Like the off burners with the metal circle thing I'm the center, but I gather that's now standard.

I have had my new Hotpoint Stove for about 2 months now. What a great appliance! The oven is an absolute dream. Everything I have baked has cooked evenly. The oven light is an added plus, along with the timer. The top of range burners are set in such a way that they are easy to clean. I chose my stove in black and I am delighted in how appealing it looks in my kitchen. Overall, this appliance has exceeded my expectations in functionality, ease of care and cleaning, and appearance.

I went from a flat glasstop to this, so it was a big adjustment for me. It IS a nice stove for the low-ish price. The sensors on the burners for overheating are a nice safety feature to have. The stove and oven work as expected. No problems there.
I only give 4 stars because of how hot the entire thing gets when the oven is on. The manual does state that it can get hot, but wow. That is hot!

We were looking for just a basic stove/oven within a certain price range for an adults only home. This is only the 2nd stove in the history of our home. The first having lasted 40+ years since the previous owners. The Sensi-temp stove top has not caused us any issues so far. I have read other's complaints about that. The oven taking 20+ minutes to preheat (to 420) to me is just ridiculous. We have an oven thermometer and I checked it periodically. The temps appeared correct. The biggest issue I have with this oven is that the top surface is SO HOT when the oven is on you could not touch it for more that a few seconds!!! Where is the safety concern???? What happened to the insulation that was once used to shield the top from that heat???? We have no small children to worry about but I would not recommend this oven for those that do. Would we have to have spent more to get our basic expectations met? Who knows. In an adults only home we can live with it but I would say this is not a family friendly choice.

I have been using this range for about a month and am still learning the features that are different from my previous, 32 year old, range. The burner settings seem to be lower so I have to turn those up a little. The oven settings seem to be about right. I really don't like the black finish because it shows every little speck of dust and smears and is hard to keep clean, but I could not find my original almond color. I would like it better if it was a textured finish like my black refrigerator.
