Aesthetically this is great hood. Clean, easy and functional. However, I™™ve had my hood for 13 months now and the buttons to turn on the lights or fan speed are stuck. I™™ve tried degreaser and it still does not work. Of course the warranty only covers 12 months so the repair/replacement is not covered.

So the hood is great - when the filters actually stay in place. Because the filters slide into a bracket that is not mechanically connected to the hood case, I am finding the bracket will slip out and cause the filter to fall. Do I like the hood? Yes - when the filters are in place. Would I like the hood more? Yes - if I can be sure it won't fall out at random on me.
