I don™™t like the efficiency cycle and that it automatically turns on. Clothes are NEVER dry and always need a second cycle. Laundry takes so much longer. I don™™t like my new washer and dryer set.

I bought these machines about 2 years ago. Worst purchase ever made. The washing machine seems to always leave debris of something on your clothes and the dryer never seems to dry your clothes completely also the machine BLEW out on me and I found out there is a KNOWN issue with faulty wiring at the heating element. The purple wire burns off and no longer makes contact and then the machine won't dry you clothes at all. After paying so much money for these machines and then having to pay someone to repair it ONLY 2 years later and all that for the machine to STILL not function well is horrible and I would advise anyone reading this review to avoid these products at ALL cost... I truly regret this purchase...

Dryer stopped drying 2 months after purchase & someone came & changed the mother board, not long after, it stopped drying again. I™™ve been contacting GE Bodewell to have it serviced not even 2 months after purchase & it's a nightmare. They're rude, do not contact you back & keep sending random unprofessional, non punctual individuals they call technicians out & they've not shown to fix my dryer for the 3rd time in a row & they refuse to help me or just replace my dryer with one that functions properly. The washer dryer set is awful & GE is too now.

A little noisy and drying cycles don't always produce desired and expected drying results. Also why isn't there a visible and audible " chime to indicate cycle is completed. The option available is total BN. This is supposed to be a top of the line model. For the price it is NOT worth it. Should have stayed with LG or Samsung.

I had this dryer hooked up on 6/16/26 and it has yet to dry a load of laundry without having to run it multiple times. I have turned of the Eco setting and only run it on timed hot and it will not dry my clothes. If I set it on Sanitize which is 3 hours, it does dry some better but not 100%. That is insane. Now I am supposed to pay $119.00 for a service fee??? All my appliances are GE and I have never have an issue until now.

Disappointed in the design. No end of cycle buzzer, tone, etc. Also, the design of the lint trap is flawed as it is drug out of place as you remove clothes from the drum when they are done.

Our dryer is new and we haven™™t fully explored all its capabilities. Generally it works as expected, although we often have to run items through a second time. This is probably due to user head space but that is the reason I only can give it 4 stars.

It drys clothes well & has several cycles to choose from. I do miss my old dryer! It was simple to operated, cycles were clear & it made a sound when the load was completed. Also the door on this one is difficult to open & close. It like sticks?

We had our GE Profile Washer and Dryer for only 2 years when the heating element died on the dryer and we had to spend nearly $400 to replace it. We bought GE profile because my father has the same appliances and they've lasted forever! I guess they're not being made of the same quality they used to. We invested good money in this product and I'm disappointed it didn't hold up as expected.

Purchased a couple years ago. The purple wire connecting to the heating element has melted again (April-26) after being professionally repaired last year (May-25). This is a known issue called the ™Purple Wire of Death™ according to Google. The repair bill is roughly $242 each time the wire melts.

The settings and the machine itself are great as is its operation. However, IT IS LOUD! Holy cow, the volume of the noise this machine makes is absolutely ridiculous. We're going to have to see about some sort of insulation wrap or something because this is just not going to work otherwise.

This was a terrible purchase and within two years the dryer stopped working due to
Computer problems.
From the start, the dryer always had to be ran twice to be able to make my clothes completely dry. No one wants to work on GE because of all the problems. Would highly recommend going with a different brand

This is the worst dryer we have had and a complete waste of money. It takes forever to dry clothes no matter what setting or load size we do. When we first got the dryer it immediately gave a "blocked ventilation" code. We ensured all vents were cleared out and had a tech (with Bodewell) come check and he said we were good to go. The dryer continues to take forever to dry. I wish we would have stuck with our 15+ year dryer because it worked way better than this piece of junk.

Doesn™™t fully dry. Sensor stops cycle, clothes still wet. Takes more than one cycle to dry. Eco dry must be off, not on if you want dry at all. Therefore not saving energy if 2 cycles required to dry one load.

Does not dry clothes in the times it should. Bought this about 6 months ago and hate it. The exhaust grill vent inside the machine gets clogged up OUTSIDE of the filter screen and needs to be cleaned off with a duster after every use. Inconvenient. Doesnt dry properly. Going to be getting rid of it soon.
