The worst stove top never. The burner placements are ridiculous. You can™™t not use 2 large pots together and you can never use a large oval lecruseut. I will be replacing this piece of garbage with a real stovetop for someone that cooks.

The cooktop heats up quickly, is fairly easy to clean up and looks very sleek in our new kitchen. We love the grill pan as well. The one big drawback is the plastic control knobs. They're easily damaged and ridiculously expensive to replace.

I love my Cooktop, specially th tri ring power burner, its powerful and i love cooking on it , the only thing i dont like the other burners are not big enough for my pots, i cook everyday and this 5 burner with griddle is perfect , the option of gas lock button is amazing safety fetaure, in case you leaving home or at night, qulaity of cooktop is great and stainless steel looks sleek

The builder chose this model as part of our appliance package. It works fine, but it scratches SO EASILY! If you don't put the grates back EXACTLY on the rubber pads you'll scratch the cooktop. Also, the rubber pads can be knocked out easily when cleaning the cooktop - we're certain we're going to loose one at some point and weren't given any extras. I've also noticed wear on the knobs and we've only been using this for 3.5 months. I haven't found anything to fix or minimize the scratches.

I absolutely love this cooktop. The burners are powerful and perfectly spaced, making the configuration super convenient for cooking multiple dishes at once. The material feels premium and is easy to clean. The controls are very responsive and simple to use, and the ignition lights instantly every time. I use the center burner and griddle all the time for pancakes and sandwiches. It heats evenly and looks beautiful in my kitchen. Stove looks beautiful, specially center burner (Multi-Ring Burner) helps with cooking lot faster. I would recommend this product.
I had glass cook top before , cleaning on glass cook top is much easy than this cook top. I find difficult when cleaning specially with Electrode ( ignition) part, while cleaning sometimes I see it will stuck with clean cloth.

I love my new GE profile gas cooktop!! I've been using it for a little over two weeks, and it is amazing. The large 18,000 BTU center burner is a favorite, it absolutely boils water in a couple of minutes and works wonderfully with a 12 quart stock pot for making soup, chili, beef stew, all of which I have made. And the simmer setting worked with that 12 quart pot of beef stew like a charm. I'm definitely cooking with gas now!! The electronic ignition is great and the lock that you can engage to prevent accidental ignition is also very useful, even though there are no small children in my house. I also love the layout of the burners, very nice. I love that the grates and control knobs are dishwasher safe!!!

Just replaced this cooktop with my still functioning 25yr old white GE 4 burner cooktop. This SS appliance has more cooking power than any high-end unit for its size. The burners provide every need from simmering to large pot boiling. The cast iron grates along with the cast grill top allows every type of cooking. Just be careful when you clean because this gauge of stainless can easily scratch. And having back illuminated knobs indicating burner is on is very slick. Nice touch GE ! Anyone who complains about the plastic knobs melting, need to learn how to cook. If you are that unaware of where you place a hot pot, that™™s your fault not GE™™s. BTW, GE offers 5 different colored replacement knobs if needed.

Please Please don't buy and waste your money, this product should not be on there website for sale, cheap made, The Cooktop panel lettering paint is coming off this happen after 2 months of buying the Cooktop, I called and open the claim, Case # 16195048 GE sent there tech to the house, the tech said is cosmetic issue and is not covered under warranty, Please be Aware that the cosmetic is only covered for the 1st 3 days of purchase. The burners knops will get melted so easily and the letters on cooktop wearing off, now my investment on this cooktop looks very cheap. No help from the Consumer Relations at all, Called the consumer relation and I asked if the Engineered are a ware of this issue and she said yes. so I'm not sure why still selling the Cooktop? wish I looked at the reviews before I buy it .

We have been using this product for 2 months now and while the burners are good, the knobs are melting. I don™™t understand how this happened or why a cooktop would be designed without heat resistant materials? I thought maybe I did something wrong but I am now reading several other reviews saying the same thing. Very disappointing™¦my advice is to pick a different cooktop because ours already looks cheap after a significant investment.

Looking for a cooktop to replace 12 year old GE model. Of course GE didn't disappoint with this one. Love the little things like light up knobs, lock feature, and griddle. Perfect for cooking any meal from breakfast pancakes to 7 course dinner from hells kitchen. Burner flames look great and simmer burner is great for making sauces.

This cooktop is amazing! It comes with the griddle (though that was not clear in the product description). It provides much more cooking surface while also adding helpful security features, such as the knobs have a light that comes on when the burner is on, which makes it easier to spot if you left one on!

Stove works well especially the power boil burner. But the first and second day I used the powerboil burner the Burner cap was chipping off the black paint. Everytime i use it more chips of black off the burner cap. I am using a large pot as suggested in the manual.

Turns on easily and cooks everything perfectly. Have not tried out the griddle yet. It seems like cast iron and rough but I do need to check it out. Theres just no way to prevent splattering from it though. Whereas In a pan I can put one of those splatter screens over it.

Replacement was easy as all cutout details came with package

First Day: Cooktop works great, easy to start, knobs have LED lights, Gas Lock button is additional feature. extra large griddle makes it easy to replace and cook.

Love this cooktop! Beautiful to look at and fun to use. The knobs light up if the burner is on and is a great visual. You can also turn off the gas to the burners. Great if you have little kids or leaving on vacation.

The knobs have melted off. The heat coming off the burners has made the faux metal finish come off. The LED light that shows if it's locked or unlocked came off. The center burner does not turn on without a few tries.

The burners work just fine. However, the knobs are at the height of the grates and therefore get scratched up easily. Then you have the paint that comes up when you clean it with anything. Also the lock knob light is installed poorly, it dropped down after just over a year of use.

I am loving my new cooktop. First off it just looks so nice!! Makes the entire kitchen look better. The middle jet boils water so quickly that it is a game changer. Haven't had it very long but so far I love it. Only caution is be careful moving the grates as they can scratch the surface of the cooktop. It cleans so easily that I decided not to let anyone else clean it for now just to be on the safe side.
