The room inside the refrigerator is great and the doors seal up well. The downfall is the autofill water dispenser rarely fills a glass to more than 1/2 and the refrigerator is louder than I anticipated.

I have all GE appliances in my home, so when I decided to upgrade the fridge, I chose this one. I am sorely disappointed. It is noisy, especially the ice maker and ice dispenser. First, the right door had to be replaced due to dents. There is a "rattle" in the back that nobody can figure out. There is a terrible whine/squeak when I open the right door. The shallow drawers on the left side door are too small to hold anything. There is a lot of wasted space! I would not recommend this refrigerator to anyone!

This refrigerator is a dream come true I got it in the dark stainless steel. It is not a film it is true black stainless steel unlike other refrigerator brands. It runs very quietly and when I open both French doors I can hardly believe how well lit up in the beautiful glass shelves it feels very luxurious.

Should anyone decide on this fridge it may be in their best interest to invest in the optional additional ice maker which sits in the bottom freezer.

Love having a refrigerator that has a working icemaker after 4+ years of service calls on our last Samsung that ultimately ended up in Samsung buying refrigerator back due to its lemon icemaker.
After a 2 year wait to get our black stainless we love having ice again.
Pretty much the same layout as our previous refrigerator.
Here's what we don't like about our new GE. When we open the freezer door the inside top drawer of freezer stays in place and doesn't pull out when we open door.
Also, when you push the level to deploy the ice the opening at top is either too large or you can't get your glass up close enough to catch the ice because there are times a stray ice cube and/or crushed ice kind of spills out from top. Other than that we love it. Hopefully, the door compartments will hold up and not crack and break like the Samsung.

I've had a GE Profile refrigerator in my garage that was bought in 1996 and still works well, which is why I decided to buy this one. This replaced our original GE Profile french door refrigerator & we love having the ice maker in the door & out of the refrigerator space! It has opened up so much more room. The shelves are narrower on the left side, yet they are prefect for salad dressing & other narrow bottles. We are so glad to have the space saver shelf to fit some taller items. The room in the freezer is better arranged. We read reviews about the compressor bing lod - it is more noticeable than our old refrigerator, but loud really seems overstated. This model was what was available with current shortages, but honestly black stainless was the color we wanted & this would have been high on our list regardless!!

Very nice frig seems to keep even temps in both frig and freezer. Layout is good and functional. The profile series includes nicer appearance touches however the price difference doesn't justify the level of finish. Overall it's well built and does the job but the lower priced GE equivalent model would serve the purpose. Other reviewers commented about it being noisy our experience is it's very quiet except when the defrost cycle is running. Odd clicking sounds and noises occur during defrost but that is noted in the manual and on GE website. Another consideration, Spotlight LED lighting, just OK. When viewing with nothing in the frig it appears well lit, once contents inside the spotlights don't get past anything in front. Solution, spend much more for the model with the backlit panel or manufacturer should install enough spotlights to illuminate throughout.

We had purchased the GE Profile Refrigerator since we already have the GE Profile oven and dishwasher. The refrigerator is very spacious. The temperature control is good. Need to get used to the placement of the drawer handles since it' the opposite of what we previously had. The water still has extra particles floating in it. We were told to throw away the first gallon of water. I'm hoping the water line needs to be flushed more before using.

Like most people, we bought a new refrigerator as we moved into our new home, in 2006. It was a Black, French Door, Bottom Freezer, with ice and water dispenser on the outside front. In 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic was at its peak in our area, with as much food as we could stuff into it as possible it started failing. First no ice, a day later it stopped dispensing water, on the next day the refrigerator section was warm and freezer section barely cold.
Emergency shopping for a replacement was horrible. Every place we went had already sold their floor models and said it would be three months to get anything they ordered to the store.
Well thank goodness, we went to one last place and instead of looking at refrigerators we knew we didn't want we found a refrigerator in the showroom like we were looking for, Black Stainless, no-fingerprint finish. No, we didn't have to get the floor model, one still in the box, delivered the next morning. No problems and none expected. Best replacement!

I'm enjoying using the many features this refrigerator offers, and especially appreciate the enormous amount of light that makes locating items a simple task. The huge space is a welcome change from my previous 15-year old side by side, and can make better use of the bottom drawer freezer, which is much larger than that in a side-by-side. The "bells & whistles" (literally fun sounds and signals) associated with the water and ice dispenser are pleasant and fun. Our frig arrived with slight cosmetic damage, and after a phone call, a GE repairman visited within days of purchase. Replacement parts arrived within three weeks, an admirable fact in these days of delayed service. GE made sure that the refrigerator was functioning well, and I was happy to assure them that it is. We looked at many models and are so glad that we decided upon this one. CAUTION: be sure to measure doorways inside your home as well as the entrance door and the refrigerator space to be sure this big boy will fit through them!

Placement of the shelves inside and on the doors is great. Ice maker and water in the door works very well. Just over all one great frig.
