We had this 18" dishwasher for almost 4 years now of daily heavy use without any issues whatsoever.
We have a smaller kitchen so this is a perfect size and we run it daily, sometimes more than once.
It is very quiet and our dishes consistently come out clean using just a Cosco dishwasher tablet.
I also love the minimal look by having top mounted controls. I would buy this washer again in a heartbeat if I had to.

Absolute garbage customer service policies and product. Brand new out of the box. Professional installation. I have now had to have four parts ordered, three service tech visits (so far or scheduled) and it has never worked in 5 weeks of ownership. It™™s a great floor tile weight. Next fix is up to three weeks away for back ordered parts. Zero ability to send or me to pick up a new unit. They absolutely refuse. But hey, they tossed in a second year warranty after I asked, so when it goes out in year three I™™ll worry about it then. If anyone but AI or the phone system from purgatory follows up happy to provide my case number. Don™™t bother if it™™s just to say the corporate ™sorry™.v

I am replacing my old GE Profile appliances with new Profiles. Just installed a new Dishwasher. Great dishwasher but don't call GE for any help. You will be in an endless loop of automated questions over and over, literally impossible to ask a question or speak to a human being. I regret buying GE appliances. Not the company it used to be

Since this is a special order 18" dishwasher, I was not able to look at it before purchase. After the first one arrived dented, and waiting another two weeks for the replacement, I have discovered that it does not hold full size plates. The upper wash arm hits the plates. I am highly disappointed. It confirms why I haven't bought GE in decades.

Didn't work from the first day. Ran the first load, didn't finish the cycle, had to use a shop vac to get rid of water that didn't drain properly. Took another month before the issue was diagnosed and a new drain pump was installed.

It didn't work, it just flashed the 888 error code. Then when I called in for service I received a date from GE for the servicer the next week. Then the servicer called me to tell me they never had an appointment at that time and their first availability would be more than two weeks out. The dishwasher never worked and somehow the customer service was even worse than that.

GE Profile 18" dishwasher. I do not like this dishwasher except for the fact that it cleans the dishes well. The things I dislike the most are the racks, the silverware caddy and the fact that it does not have sound to know when the load is finished. It's very difficult to see which light is for what, so that doesn't help. The racks are awful for trying to maximize the number of dishes you can put in them. Way too many prongs for plates, so bowls or other odd sized dishes do not fit well. The silverware caddy has the top piece with the openings for the silverware but to put in bigger or shorter utensils, you are expected to remove the top piece and put them in, then replace the top piece. It's ridiculous. The 18" GE Profile dishwasher I bought in 2010 was wonderful. the racks and the silverware caddy were perfect. I could load so many dishes in the racks, and the top piece of the silverware caddy had a separate piece on each side, so I could put silverware on one side and tall or wide utensils in the other side. Overall, I really hate this dishwasher and of course was unable to return it because I used it two times to see if I could get past the issues I have with it.

Be sure to put a bit of dishwasher soap in the pre-wash pocket - it's vital for getting a great cleaning in any dishwasher.

we bought this model in December 2024. it stopped working after 1 year and 2 weeks. i called P.C Richards they told me that the mechanic might cost me around $400 to fix the problem ($200 just to come to your house, and the rest depending on the issue). i don't know, at the store they told me that it is a high end product but i think it is piece of garbage. do not buy it.

Quiet dishwasher. Good capacity. Easy to operate. The dry cycle leaves the dishes clean and dry but the inside of the unit is wet. You have to keep it propped open to dry it out or you need to manually dry it out. Do not close it after emptying or it will have moisture.

The dishwasher is small, compact and fits perfectly into my space. It is quiet but the dry cycle does not dry out the inside of the appliance. The dishes are dry but the dishwasher is not. You have to leave it open for hours for it to dry. There are not that many controls which is nice. The installers did a good job.

The install was quick and easy. They ran a rinse cycle and it was so quiet that even without additional noise to cover it you didn™™t hear it. I thought the controls on top were odd but I™™m not hating it. We haven™™t ran a load yet but it looks like a decent load size can be ran.

So far so good on this small scale dishwasher! We had another one of these purchased in 2006 at another home and it was very loud - this new version is really, really quiet compared to that one. It cleans the dishes well. My only complaint is small - the start button isn't quite as intuitive as it should be. Took me a couple of tries but I figured it out.

Best packaging design I have seen. But pkg this did not prevent base of door on both sides from being bent. I cannot imaging the force that caused dents. I straightened dents. Door closes ok. Also external rubber seal on one side crimped. In my case this seal did not impact installation. Washer works properly.

Super quite. Somewhat easy to install. The instructions were very helpful. Not for the average person. Plus, you have to purchase a lot of extras. Anyways, it's up and running, no leaks and looks good. Did I mention it's very quite. This is a small DISH washer. Pots and Pans will not fit inside this 18 inch model. Very quite. I have a small kitchen. The controls are simple, but I wish you could press a button and move the cycles along, thereby shortening the wash time. A pause button would be nice, like most dishwashers you have to open the door to pause the cycle.
