The lights are nice and bright but the fan has a noise problem that occured during installation and a technician was unable to permanently fix after a separate visit. Removing the screen I can see the housing moving so I suspect the fan is out of balance. The noise is consistent with a fan blade scraping on the interior of the housing during part of its rotation. The noise is most noticable at the lower fan setting.

The install was easy. This GE range hood looks great and works great. The fan on high keeps the air clear when cooking. The LED lighting is great for lighting the stove and counters. The filters are easy to remove and can be cleaned by putting them in the dish washer.

Was simple to install. I had to use the two boards which came in the packaging as a spacer between the hood and wall to align the existing vent assembly. Painted boards to match wall for a professional look. Also temporarily mounted the two metal brackets under the hood to hold the hood in place while securing the hood to the newly positioned wood planks.
