Purchased January 30, used all functions except self clean until today (5-21-22), started self clean and its a 5 hour process. Came into the house and there's a sweet/electrical smell. Oven is totally black on the display, flipped the breaker and let cool, nothing! Too late to speak with customer service, but in searching reviews this has happened while self clean function has been used. I'll keep you updated. Loved it until today.

I am very pleased with my new GE double oven so far! I've cooked several different meals/dishes and they have turned out great! I also love being able to preheat the ovens from the app on my phone when I am on my way home. Makes it so efficient to come home and pop something in the oven right away!

The first time we used the self cleaning feature the motherboard of the unit was "fried" -- the technician's word. After GE first blaming the builder for not installing it properly, it turned out the unit was faulty. The technician advised us not to use the self cleaning feature as it is well known to cause this issue. This product is less than a year old and have already purchased the extended warranty, to be on the safe side -- I actually believe this is GE's business model - make subpar products to force customers to extend the warranty. I will never purchase GE products moving forward.

Shuts off randomly, sometimes 6-10 times judging preheat. We can't leave anything in the oven without watching it constantly because it's randomly shut off half way through cooking too. This is the most frustrating oven we have ever owned.

Bought this to replace an older Electrolux double wall oven. This heats up to temp very fast. Bakes evenly, just made first batch of cookies that came out amazing! Much quiter than my other stove. Fit perfect without having my cabinets cut during install.

I have only used the oven once so far, but I like it! I read reviews that people thought it took a long time to reach temperature, however it seemed to reach temperature faster than my old oven did. I like the digital display, so I know exactly what temperature I set. The only thing I would change is how the top oven door opens. I am 5'4" and have to reach in over a hot door to get things out of the oven. A side opening door or a lifting door would be safer.

I loved my double oven for about 2 years and then realized the digital display wasn't doing well anymore. A couple months after that, the top oven stopped working, at all. The warranty was expired so it cost over $700 to fix our fairly new oven. Hoping it lasts longer now. We were told it would be another $1200 to get the display to work properly.
