The warming drawer has some major design issues. Will not store anything that has weigh. (Cast iron skillets)
Feels flimsy and cheaply made. Hard to grab handle indentation to pull it out. Does not slide easily.

Bought the JS645SLSS model slide in model in Sept but by the following June the paint on the control panel is wearing off. We aren't hard on our appliances or use hard abrasives but apparently the warranty on "cosmetic" issues only apply for 7 days which in my opinion should of been covered. I won't ever be buying from the company again.

It is a classy stovetop and oven. It gets the job done. It is user-friendly. The oven controls are really sensitive so be careful you don't tap the oven temperature and turn on the oven by mistake. The glass top surface be careful with cooking eggs it is so hard to remove anything burned on. Do not slide pots on cooktop or it wills scratch the surface.

Looks good, but it was very hard to connect wires in the back due to that bolts were very very tight. Recommend the bolts not to be so tight at time of connection. Really really hard, took almost two hours to make connection.
Also disappointing no baking pan was included for roasting.

Love the way it cooks. Do not like the sensitivity of the control panel. Finish has to be wiped constantly to avoid prints. Timer alarm is not loud enough. I have not looked to see if there is a higher volume for that.

The oven arrived damaged. I will update my post if GE provides a new control panel. I have used the oven once with no problems and the cooktop twice with no problems. The front two burners have small and large size combo burners. It takes a long time for to heat on the front burners.

This range heats up quickly - both the stove top and oven. Cooks food evenly, very happy with using this since we got it installed about a month ago! It looks very sleek as well, with the knobs in the front. It allowed us to install a floating shelf behind it to stack spices, which we couldn't do with our last range that had the control panel in the back.

After 1st use the top had silver scratches, the burners are not reliable. It takes forever to boil a pot of water and yet things boil on simmer. The location of control panel right in front is so annoying as it catches all the grease and EVERYTIME you wipe it down the clock resets.

Only have it a month but it cooks well and looks good. I had a Ge profile oven for over 25 years and loved it. The oven inside is bigger. So the bottom draw is smaller. Can't fit all my baking pans in it anymore. My only real complaint is that placement of the knobs and cooktop burners. When I fry the whole front panel gets greasy. I have to remove the knobs and clean each time. (They are easy to clean) While boiling potatoes a drop of water must've landed on the control panel because I heard a beep. It did not turn anything on but it was concerning. Also I am short and hit the buttons while cleaning the cooktop.I just have to lock it. I wish the bigger burners were in the back. I have used the back burner once. They are very small and seem oddly placed but when I'm cooking large amounts it will be necessary so I will have to get used to it.

We just needed a basic slide in oven (no bells and whistles), and this one is perfect. The oven preheats very quickly (compared to our old oven), and the faceplate is easy to clean. I do use the button lock functional all the time because it is very easy to accidentally touch the change time button.

So many ranges now have way too many bells and whistles! This one is an absolute gem - it performs everyday tasks quickly and with no fuss. Our favorite features include:
1. TWO burners that can be used as small or large and both are at the front (rather than one being at the rear) of the stove.
2. All controls are on the front but the face UPWARD rather than outward where small children want to fiddle with them.
3. Our favorite button is "lock controls." It keeps accidental touches or cleaning from activating the timer, the oven, etc.
4. True self-cleaning (high temp) as well as the steam cleaning thing so common on ranges now.
5. Burners and the oven heat up VERY FAST.
6. Stovetop is so easy to keep clean. Can't be said of all glass topped ranges.
7. Bottom heating element in the oven is "old fashioned" visible so you can lift it slightly and place a silicone oven liner sheet underneath. This allows you to keep the oven MUCH cleaner MUCH easier. When there's a spill just pull out the liner, wipe it off, and slide it back in! So many current oven designs do not allow this simple time saving strategy.

Switched up our whole kitchen and finished switching all appliances to stainless! Super oven, really like the more flexible burner configuration making a more efficient and and versatile workspace.
