I decided to switch from electric to gas…I love the stovetop feature! I love how much quicker things are prepared vs electric. So so glad I switched. My only complaint is that I had a convection oven before this and I am struggling to not have the bottoms of my biscuits and cookies burn in the oven. This is just a learning curve so I only gave it 4 stars vs 5. Once I fully adapt, this will most likely be a 5 star product!

I was disappointed that the surface is easily scratched by the grills. They must be replaced very carefully. I dislike the gas smell when I start the oven. The front left burner is hard to turn on. Oven does bake and roast very well. Some insulation came out of the top vent.

For the price, the oven is disappointing. The stainless-steel control panel and drawer are very thin and appear subject to easy denting. The drawer front is chintzy looking and feeling. The plastic covering the display seems flimsy and far from durable. After the first use of the cook top, my attempt at cleaning up some minor grease spots on the plastic cover with a dampened cloth resulted in permanent scratches to the plastic covering. Does not bode well for long-term service. The two large "power boiler" burners are both towards the front of the unit, and even on lowest setting, put out far too much heat for most "normal" uses. I find myself using the back burners, particularly the smaller of the two, for most of my cooking. My previous GE Profile oven lasted 27 years before the digital oven controls died. I don't expect that service out of the new one. The new one did fit perfectly my existing 30" cut out, but the unit projects almost an inch further into the room than the old one.

I love this GE stove! It is beautiful in design and extremely efficient. The two high output front burners are awesome! I am able to cook a large pot of rice in half the time it took me with my old stove. It has a medium back burner and one small simmer burner that is excellent for a stew pot or using it as a warmer. The broiler has two features, high and low, and steaks come out perfect! The oven is large and you can situate the racks inside the oven to hold a large turkey, ham, a side such as mac and cheese, a medium casserole, and a dish of yams. It's perfect for my family of five! The steam cleaning option is a nice touch and it works well. I would happily recommend this high quality range to anyone! Love it!

Wow... this stove was so easy to install and looks great. The edge to edge cook top with the two 15,000 BTU's for large cooking space works wonders and saves a lot of time and it has precise simmer burners also. The stove has steam cleaning and the two top grates are dishwasher save which makes it even more easy to clean and save even more time. It has an in oven broiler at the top to make broiling food taste great. We cook a lot of fish and seafood and the broiler has worked great every time.

We recently moved into an older house that needed a major kitchen upgrade! GE brand has always been our top choice for any appliance replacement. Our GE 30" Slide-In Front Control Gas Range has been the BEST addition to our kitchen!
At 30", this range sits perfectly between two sets of cabinets that were already installed in our kitchen. I love how sleek it looks!
The edge-to-edge cooktop has to be my favorite part of this range! We can use our larger pots easily without worrying about taking up too much room or having to sit pots off centered from the burners. We enjoy cooking for large amounts of people so this design is PERFECT! And clean up is simple! The grates on the stovetop are not only removeable for easy clean up, they are also dishwasher safe! This makes clean up super easy and our stovetop always looks brand new!
The oven is amazingly spacious! Baking multiple dishes at one time has been a great addition to our family. We bake about 8-10 loaves of bread a week and having the extra room has been so helpful! The oven heats up very quickly and everything we have baked so far has come out evenly cooked.
I really enjoy the simplicity of the cooking/baking options on the front control panel. The knobs are easy to press and move to ignite the burners. The oven control options are basic and all you need! It's very hard to find a simple appliance these days, so I can appreciate GE doing so!
I love and appreciate the steam cleaning oven feature! We tend to clean up messes as they happen, but having the steam option to help clean the baked on messes is golden!
We are very satisfied with our GE 30" Slide-In Front Gas Range! We look forward to completing our kitchen renovation with more GE appliances in the future!

First off, this oven installed super easy. While not everyone will need to install on their own, it's great to know it slides in and out easy and the gas line is an easy setup. I've moved 3 times in the last 2 yrs and had at least 4 oven ranges. This GE 30" is by far the best performer. So far the btu's crank heat, for an awesome cooktop experience. I don't do a ton of baking but may give it a shot now! The stovetop is nicely spaced out and designed. The middle setup is so key for breakfast cooking. And the smaller burners are perfect for sauces and keeping items warmed when I'm hammering on the work horse burners up front. I'm really happy with this oven. Zero regrets and would buy it again. And just might for our next property!

I love this GE® 30" Slide-In Front Control Gas Range. This oven is the perfect size and it has simple controls! The front panel is awesome and the gas controls is simple to use. The slick clean stainless steel, had me attracted to it once I saw it. I absolutely enjoy using the inside, it has a top notch boiler, along with the other regular oven qualities. Overall, I am incredibly happy with this range. I wanted a single door, conventional oven with the broiler inside the oven instead of a separate warming drawer and 4 burners. This range is amazing, sturdy and powerful. The stainless steel is of high quality. The cast iron grates are heavy and very well built. The stainless steel is not as thin as I've noticed with other stoves. The range is very well built and a good size . It cooks just like any high end stove with a gorgeous flame. Yes, this range does not have all the bells and whistles of a high-end "chef's kitchen" inspired monstrosity, but it can out-cook anything I have ever used in the past. The burners are so powerful that I have to take it down a notch - or two and the stove top cooking is faster than ever. The larger capacity boil burner heats water so much faster that I have had to adjust how I time my other dishes that I'm making for the entire meal. I really enjoy baking and everything (cakes, cookies, brownies) comes out perfectly and they were all done in the time recommended by the recipe! There is no need to be constantly checking for the time to be re-adjusted-huge time saver! The oven does not over heat the kitchen when in use and the stove knobs do not become hot when using the oven. The storage drawer is a generous size and nice feature. The oven door opens nicely and does not spring shut which can be a safety hazard. I like that the open vents above the oven door are under the knobs control center so I won't have to worry that something on the stovetop drips and gets inside. The oven light illuminates the entire oven just not the top rack or a small portion of the oven. I have no issues with its performance.
A few cons (just really mentioning as none of them are that significant as they did not affect my 5 star rating!) The clock time goes away when the oven is running. It is a bit inconvenient. On my other stove, the clock was visible at all times, except when the timer was running. When it is preheating, it would be nice to see a count up to the temperature, so I could decide if I wanted to place an item in the oven 5-10 degrees before it reached the temperature I set. I could also see the time so if I forgot to set the timer, I knew what time it was when I put something in the oven. It is a minor annoyance and I'm sure I'll be trained to look at the other clocks in the kitchen. My other stove beeped continuously until you turned it off and was fairly loud. This one beeps at the one minute countdown which is nice and then will beep three times once it is done then it will beep every few minutes. If you are not near the stove when it goes off though you may miss it as it isn't really loud. It does not come with a broiler pan, but I had the pan from my previous stove. The black enamel top show every single speck of dirt but I'm sure that's true for all stoves. It also does not have a stove-top light like my previous stove did. I often used it to illuminate the kitchen at night so I'll use the microwave surface light instead.
Make sure you condition the oven by heating the oven on the highest temperature before use for 30 min to burn off any manufacturing residue and you get the best results from the start. I also suggest you read the user Manuel to know what to do and what not to do and how to clean it incase of any spills during cooking. Do not skip the manual.

Where do I begin, we absolutely love the GE range, from the edge to edge cooktop to the 30 minute self cleaning oven and everything in between. This is the first time owning a slide in oven without a back on the cooktop, I didn't think I would like it but it gives so much more room to place pots and pans of all sizes to fit easily on the burners with the edge to edge cook top which makes it easy to move pots and pans around without having to lift them, they just slide easily. The self cleaning oven only takes 30 minutes to clean without the high heat and nasty smell. I'm sure there is more to this oven than I have found and I am looking forward to seeing what this fabulous oven can do.

I have had my GE 30"slide in front control gas range for about 2 weeks now. While I am very happy with the look of it, and with how the oven works, I can't really say anything about the range. It was delivered and installed. Before the installer left, they knew the gas igniter didn't work. I'm am waiting for the repair still 2 weeks out. I have been manually lighting it, and it works great, but I'm not supposed to be lighting it manually. Im sure I be this is fixed I will love it, as I do love the look and the oven already.

I received GE® 30" Slide-In Front Control Gas Range and it looks and works great! It is a four burner stove with two of the burners being power burners. The top grate is raised for easy cleaning of the stove. It is also magnet so it hold your pots and pans in place while cooking. Pans stay in place while stirring! The oven has two racks so you can move food closer or further away from the burner. It can bake and broil. The dials on the oven are easy to turn and adjust to desired size flame. The oven temperature button is easy to use and set temperature, just push the button to temperature you want a press start! It heats up quickly and beeps when at correct temperature. The broil feature works great. It can be set good low and browns food perfectly. It has a timer that is easy to set. It also has a delay start feature . Cleaning the oven is easy. It is a steam cleaner that cleans in 30 minutes! When its done just wipe oven dry. The design fits well with any decor and makes cooking easier and fun!

This GE Appliances Slide-In Gas Range is fantastic. The gas range is stunning and complements my other appliances perfectly. It's just right. The display is in the front, which is really convenient for me. It has a cooktop that extends from edge to edge. I also appreciate the fact that it includes two power boil burners in the front, which are the burners I use the most. What I like best about this range is the two power burners I can bring water to a boil in 10 minutes while using a large skillet on the second burner. I also like the steam clean oven feature. Uses less power, much less time and don't have to remove shelves. I am impressed with the quality of the knobs which are solid metal with a rich sheen that gives the stove a high end appearance. The electronic touch pad is a bit hard to read at night but not really a problem overall. I like that the broiler has a high and low setting. All in all I am very happy with this stove.

This range does not have the bells and whistles that my previous one had (and rarely used) but it is very functional for a much lower price. I can bring two quarts of cold water to a rolling boil in 10 minutes on the high output burner. There are two of these burners which is nice. I rarely used my self clean oven feature as it got so hot for so long and set off smoke alarms. The steam clean is so easy and low heat. You can use it easily anytime after you have made a roast. Don't have to remove shelves. The grates are heavy and I like that they go all the way to the edge of the stove. Love that the knobs are solid metal, highly polished and easy to clean. I wish the control panel was more slanted at an angle. It does get covered with grease spatter and I am concerned that the electronic touchpad will eventually get scratched and the printing will get faded or washed off. The broiler and oven work as well as my old high end oven. I just wish the touch pad had a glass cover. It is a classy looking stove otherwise but the touchpad could be made better. I hope I am wrong because overall I think this is a good value for a slide in stove and has all the features I am looking for.

I love my new GE Slide-In Front Control Gas Range! It lends a nice clean, modern look to the entire kitchen. The center griddle is wonderful. I've used the griddle mostly for grilled cheese because it's so quick, and easy, but it was also awesome for grilling up shrimp quesadillas! When I was done, I just popped it in the dishwasher! I also love the stovetop burner controls. They have so much more flame control than my old gas range. It makes it much easier to prevent scorching food. The only qualm I have is that small burners are both back burners, I'd prefer one large burner and one small in the front. I love the front control so much more than my old range. I used to worry because my body would press against the burner controls when reaching for the oven temperature and timer controls. The front controls on this oven really give me peace of mind, I no longer have to reach over the burner controls to use the oven! This oven range is great. I definitely recommend it.

I just love the GE gas slide in range. The design is gorgeous. The grates go to the edge of the top. Now I can use larger pots and pans without them touching. The in oven broiler is fabulous. No more sitting on the floor to watch your food. The grates can go in the dishwasher for ease of cleaning. It comes up to temperature quickly and stays constant.
