Don™™t buy this product. I™™ve had the set for a year and a half with nothing but problems. The dryer filter has broken, the inside of the dryer is cracked. The washer has already needed to be replaced once due to a locking mechanism problem and the replacement washer is now doing the same thing. This set is overpriced junk.

There lint trap is superior. Im a little surprised it doesn't have a buzzer or bell to alert you when finished with cycle, but we always turned them off because they were too loud, so no biggy. Haven't tried the wifi feature, so can't comment on that. Overall though, love the machine, but its new, so of course. Give me a few years and a power outage maybe il have a different opinion.

I wish I could be more positive about our new GE dryer. It does not have good air pull and therefore takes longer to dry loads than my old LG dryer did, and most aggravatingly, it spews dust and lint out of the lint trap (or machine?) so that I have constant dust on the dryer, the adjacent washer, the counters, the floors in my laundry room. I thoroughly clean the lint trap after each load, I™™ve had installers come back out to verify correct installation, and I™™ve had Dirty Ducts come clean my new vent (new due to remodel)™"what Dirty Ducts noted was that there isn™™t proper air flow out of the machine despite structural integrity of the ducts. We are disappointed in this machine and wish we purchased a different one.

The top of the dryer was scratched from the factory and the hose was not inside the dryer tub and fell to the bottom of the box and was cut when opening the box at the bottom

I really enjoy the connectivity of the dryer to the app. The app is easy to use. My one complaint on this dryer is the lint trap. It consistently overfills and I end up with lint in my clothes, even when it's a small load of towels. A better design for the lint trap is suggested.

I am so disappointed in this dryer. The longer I have it the worse it gets with strings getting caught on the lint compartment corners. There are sharp edges/corners and space between the slot the actual lint catcher goes in and the lint catcher. It catches and ruins the strings and laces in my shorts and sweatpants as well as blouses that have ties. It™™s a defect of some sort and it needs addressed.

This is a great dryer, way more functions and options than we™™ll ever use! Has great capacity, dries quickly and has a huge lint filter. We have three golden retrievers and two cats, and have noticed a lot less hair on our clothes since the lint filter catches so much. The steam function is nice and refreshes clothes well.

We got the dryer set up, I ran a load through the dryer and when I turned it on, there was a loud tap, tap, tap! I called the warranty line and spoke with a real nice guy. He came out and fixed a couple of issues from the dryer being shipped. So far it's running fine and quiet.

This dryer is fantastic. Huge capacity with great performance. You can barely hear it run. The steam feature is great, leaving the clothes with barely a wrinkle. We haven't tried the sanitization function yet but are looking forward to it.

I am unable to update the dryer firmware through the Android app. The current firmware version is showing 0.0.0.0. When I click on the Software Update button, there is no popup window that tells me either there is an update or none is available. The washer updated fine. Both the washer and the dryer have a working IP address in my home network. I called into your tech support and that person said there is no update available when this happens. If so why is the Software Update button not responding like the washer did? Internet searches that I have done say it can be fixed by an update push to this machine. Some help would be appreciated.

Large capacity is nice. There is one major flaw- the light that shows what setting you are using misses its mark- points about quarter inch off. Service tech replaced the panel and still off. Brought us a new dryer and it™™s the same so we have to live with it. Should be compensated for what this dryer cost.

I've not had my dryer very long so I can't go in to too much detail but I'm super happy with it so far. My dryer previously would alert me all the time that the lint screen needed to be clean even though it was. This one never does that. It also seems really spacious and seems to dry really quickly. Most loads seem like they are done in 30 minutes and I would say I tend to put in large loads. Really happy with it and the matching washer.

My main criticism, which is pretty big for my workflow is that the indicator tone for a load being dry is very weak. It also does not persist, so my likelihood to intercept freshly dried laundry before it wrinkles is low. I realized that there's the app, but there's no substitution to an intermittent tone until you actually get the stuff out of the dryer.
It also sometimes indicates that a load is dry before it's all completely dry. However, I do like that on the wrinkle care setting that it keeps the clothes cooler and doesn't overheat them.

the dryer does dry clothes good but the control lock feature is constantly coming on and staying on. making it hard to change settings. it is also harddryer to clear the control lock feature. it would be nice to be able to disable the control lock feature as we dont have kids that would tamper with the controls
