I was super excited for this stackable washer dryer set but assembled it looks terrible!! The dry sticks way out on FRONT of the washer! They don't line up at all and the result is an awkward looking stack. I wish I had bought the samsung which looks one hundred times better and works just as well.

After just over a year of barley using it, the dryer squeaks and makes a thud noise. Just under 40 loads. I did not purchase the extended warranty and rona wont fix it. They claim you have to deal with the manufacturing company BUT they only alot for 1 year and also refuse to fix it.

This appliance takes forever to dry my clothes. Almost two full cycles and it still doesn™™t come out dry all the way. I check my vents and outlets everything is working fine. But this particular model isn™™t that strong. I got it new as well what a shame.

Nice dryer wished tho made a gas one this size, I have an old Pittsburgh . size is a issue for me. As far as usage time I might have to dry things an extra 15mins or so. All digital I really use my timed one and choose my heat, all in all not bad. I have always bought GE products

I bought this dryer as a pair with the matching washer. Both machines worked well mechanically, however the dryer will not connect to my WIFI using the 2 SMART HQ accessories I bought through GE. The washer connected right away, but the dryer still can™™t connect! This is going on since Dec. purchase, I have been working with your technical department and have opened a case, but no one has gotten back to me. They are very diligent, but still no WIFI on dryer.

It appeared that the 13 nomenclatures surrounding the control knob had no relationship to the knob itself. The knob contains no indicator point. This was very confusing and seemed pointless to have these labels around the knob. There is no indication on the display panel as to the these
specific items surrounding the knob. For example: Try to set the knob to "Towels". There appears to be no preset setting for "Towels", on the display. We later discovered, however, that there LEDs around under the black ring that surrounds the knob. They light up to indicate the desired selection. The problem is that our washer/dryer stack is located on our enclosed back porch. We discovered that the sunlight coming in from the windows was so bright we couldn't see the LED's around the knob. We went out to use the dryer after sundown, and the LED's were clearly visible. I wish they were somehow brighter for daytime visibility. Anyway, we just have to cup our hand around the knob to see the LED to know we have the correct selection.

Just had it 3 days but so far so good. Drying time increased only 10 minutes versus my old Whirlpool dryer. I don't love the lint filter as it's difficult to open up and remove lint for my senior hands, but it's workable and I'm sure I'll get used to it. I like the idea of the extra tray to hold delicates. That's easy to remove and install. Good idea. Don't know if there is any extra energy cost as the addition of 10 minutes to drying is not substantial. I primarily use time drying where I set the time.

The only reason I bought the dryer is because I got a new GE 24 in. stackable washer, but the previous model stacking kit is not compatible with the new washer. My previous model dryer still worked.
This new 24 in. stackable vented dryer was installed on 10/29/25 and it has been a huge disappointment. It takes too long to dry. It works fine for tiny loads (underwear, boxers, socks, pillowcases). It takes 2 hrs 35 min to dry 1 queen-size flat sheet (400 tc cotton) on HIGH with nothing else in the dryer. I can't dry the entire sheet set in one load without it getting bundled up and taking 3.5-4 hrs.
This particular product is a waste of electricity and a waste of money. The dryer doesn't need all these different programs and features. It simply needs to dry the clothes in a normal amount of time....like the previous model.
I regret this purchase. I expected better from GE.

When they sent people out to fix it they messed it up more. Ge does not honor there products and will not stand behind them. Worst customer experience I have ever had. The dryer works great. We are very happy with it. It has some awesome features. and numerous cycles to pick from. It is also quiet. The best is drying sneakers with the drying rack. So nice to get my sneakers dry after using the matching washer. It also has a damp setting, so that you can pull out some items before they are fully dry. Capacity is better than we expected. We can dry a full set of king sheets without issue. The only feature i don't care for is the eDry setting. Supposedly it saves energy, all it does is leave my clothes wet. So, I just avoid that setting.

The Fred's Appliance salesman told me that it would handle a king size sheet, not 2 but only 1 at a time. When it started overheating, I had a warranty technician look at it. He charged me for the visit because the dryer will overheat if a king size sheet is in it. The functional ability of this dryer is misleading.

We looked at a lot of dryers and we liked this one the best. It has good features and we think it holds more than our previous Bosch unit eventhough they are the same capacity. It is very quiet and dries the clothes really well. We thought there are more cycles than we need, but use them all. We also really like the damp feature and the clothes are perfectly damp when the buzzer goes off. When we got it, we tried various settings with all sorts of items, including sneakers and every time they came out perfect. We were skeptical about the sensor and its ability to adjust drying properly, but it works great with no issues of clothes being too dry. Buy it. You won't be disappointed.

The brand new dryer takes way too long to dry clothes. It took nearly 2 hours to dry one bath towel. I have to dry the fitted sheet separately from the top sheet in order to dry. The sheets wad up into a ball almost immediately after turning on the dryer, so I untangle them multiple times. I'm disappointed with the inefficiency.
