The icemaker and water in the side of the door are great. The overall layout allows for more capacity then my former Whirlpool Could use better instruction. Accidentally turned off water by pushing button on side of door and it was difficult to figure out what happened.

For the price, really no complaints. Sturdy, sleek front, magnetic, keeps food at correct temp. Replaced a 20 year old Kenmore. Hope this one lasts half as long! Only annoyance was the blue packing tape that doesn™™t want to come off the shelves.

Love all the room and storage spaces. Getting used to side door water. Would have given a 5 , but is kind of load when cycling But makes great Size ice cubes well worth noise , Plus two filters that are easy to change and get too well done !!. But I would rather have that then my last fridge(samsung) because in door ice dispenser it was always jamed. And only lasted 4 years for the price these things should last longer. Hopefully reviews are correct and if I keep maintenance up will last one 15 years.

I hope corporate sees this. After just one week this machine began a grinding noise that can be heard upstairs! I called for a service ticket and the FIRST thing they say is, ™ It looks like you have a problematic machine, how about an extended service plan?™ Unbelievable! They can™™t send someone out for 1.5 weeks! So, I called another service provider who said this is a common problem! I need a replacement machine!

Nice-looking fridge. Very quiet. Some parts, like the bottom grill, look cheap and don™™t fit well. Very difficult to get the plastic off the sides of the doors because they tuck it inside the rubber door seals. Wish it came with extra shelves.

If your refrigerator starts making a random obnoxious noise check to make sure the ice maker switch is in the correct position. Ours is not connected to the water line but the ice maker was in the on position so every time it tried to make ice it would sound the alarm. My nephew looked at it and he had it stopped in less than a minute, yay

Giving a 5 star review for being new and liking all the features and space. But honestly it is new and only the test of time will be the true indicator of the reputation that this brand and/or appliance will earned. For 44 years I had 2 big ™W™™ band without maintenance ever required. I was a die hearted fan of ™W™™ products but they didn™™t have what I was wanting or the size I was needing and Frigidaire side by side is everything I was looking for and somemore. I am very happy with this product so far and love the quality and style/looks it adds to my kitchen area. I am trusting that I will have a stress free long life with my new refrigerator and Frigidaire will win my heart for future purchases of appliances.

Except it dribbles when I stop dispensing. The temp buttons on the door are too easy to accidentally hit. I still have yet to figure out how to stop the ice maker. That said,Overall it's a nice fridge at a great price.

From order to delivery it™™s been a pleasure to work with Frigidaire appliances. Our refrigerator has all the features we™™ve been looking for and the gallery upgrades were worth the extra cost. My only complaint is that the doors were significantly out of alignment. I discussed the problem with the sales person at the retail end and was told that they could only refer me to the Frigidaire customer service. I haven™™t had chance to speak to them yet but hopefully they will make the issue correct. I will follow up with them.

We have had this now for about 3 week and it has been fantastic. Lots of ice and the water fill is in a great location and not visibile from the front. I was worried that there wouldnt be enough room for all the food and sauces we have but everything fits nicely.

This is my favorite refrigerator. I've had the French door and the storage doesn't work for me. This is perfect for my storage needs. It keeps my food fresh. The only thing I wish was different was the ice maker. I live in the country on a well and do not use the icemaker at all. Other than that it's perfect for my needs. I love it and look forward to having it for a long time.

We're only a few weeks in, but we are enjoying the fridge so far and happy with the purchase. It's nice looking and seems to do a good job of keeping things cold, which is, after all, it's primary function. The noise level was higher than expected when we first turned it on, but the fridge was busy getting to temperature so that is to be expected. The sound level has since leveled off. Though if the ice machine is on it is noisier than it is when it's off. But that's normal I think. We do wish there was more space on the lower door shelves. We have lots of condiments we would love to store there, but it's only two bottles deep which forces us to use the bigger fridge shelves to store the rest of the condiments, which isn't great. Maybe we need to cut back on the sauces. But we're going to look into purchasing another shelf for the door. The other downer is something other people have commented on. The control panel on the side of the door is flat out stupid. The placement is such that if the door is open for any length of time, you will accidentally touch it. You'll hear a beep and then you'll have to check to make sure you didn't accidentally adjust something. We've already accidentally turned off the water once and adjusted the temperature in the freezer and fridge at least twice. It's a bad design. They should've put some sort of lock on it that you'd have to hold down to unlock the control panel. Instead, there's a five second delay or something. So, if the door is open for longer than five seconds you could (and eventually will) accidentally push something. I read this warning in other reviews and thought people were being too picky and that we'd be able to avoid the issue, but... nope. It's real. And it's a pain. But, again, it is a solid fridge for the money thus the 4 star rating. But seriously, how did that design flaw make it out of the testing phase?

this is the first side by side for me. I usually pick a french style, but am very happy with this one. I particularly enjoy the roominess of both freezer and fridge. I have a small kitchen and couldn't find the same size as my "kenmore Elite french style", so settled on this one. It was a snug fit, but doable. Very happy so far. Love the freezer side and the organization and easy access it allows.

First, it arrived after a week with a dent. Sent it back and waited another week. It was very loud. Maybe 3 weeks later it stoped running and my food defrosted. Repair man came over a week later to inform us this problem is so common he didn™™t have the part and we have to wait ANOTHER week or more without a frig. It is under warranty but will not cover the loss of food, don™™t care about our inconvenience or time! Plus, we purchased extended warranty and was told it doesn™™t take effect until after theirs.
