I have always wanted an Induction Cook top and chose a Frigidaire. It did not disappoint. I love the cook top. It is easy to use and I love the bridge option on it! I love the fact that no food cooks onto the surface and the only heat is due to the pan heat. I am already recommending the Frigidaire Induction products to friends and family. And the price was much lower than expected.

Recently replaced a smooth surface radiant unit with this induction top. Takes a little getting used to but boy is it nice once you figure out the great responsiveness to heat settings and changes. Most of our existing pots and pans work but I personally liked getting a few new pieces with magnetism. Overall a winner.

The cooktop is okay. It boils water fast, but is a little rough around the edges. Coming from a GE Profile, I was disappointed.If you accidentally lower the heat too much and then go back up, it takes ot a second to react. Going down is instantaneous, but going up has a delay.What drives me crazy though is the sensitivity of the touch panel to water.With a smallest spill, the cooktop just turns off and won't turn on until you wipe it bone dry! And the timer will turn off, too, so you'll have no idea how much time is remaining.I was convinced that I had gotten a defective unit, but support told me this was a safety feature!Don't waste your money on this unit. You deserve better!

The experience with this unit has been nothing short of a nightmare.During installation, a "kit" is mentioned to install the cooktop on granite countertop. Hours on the phone with Electrolux/Frigidaire and the Home Depot to finally find out what this kit is about. 6 brackets and 2 tubes of silicon listed at $160. If that is not a rip-off, I do not know what is. What is best is that the brackets contained in the kit do not even work for my cooktop, fabulous!!!Finally installed the cooktop. Now the cooktop is sagging and does not sit flush on the granite slab. Buying this unit is the worst decision I have made in 2024 and I regret it!

This Cooktop get a 3qt water pot boiling in under 3 minutes. Easy to control up and down. Very powerful cooktop, easy to control. The timer is a bit unusual but works great, once you know how it works. Definitely is a great value for this middle price range.

We replaced the old gas cooktop in our new house with this induction cooktop. So far it has been excellent. It heats up the pans very quickly, even quicker than our old gas cooktop, and is much easier to clean. We had a Bosch induction cooktop at our last house and knew we wanted induction again. The Frigidaire price is much more reasonable and the performance is just as good. Now to see if it will last a long time.

We just live the new induction cooktop, with no knobs it super easy to keep clean, the stainless trim on front ties in the stainless downdraft behind, as well as protecting the front edge from damage. Burner sizes are perfect, especially with single large in middle, allows for multiple pans going at same time without crowding.

I love that I can turn the heat up & down so quickly. I had used gas for many years & wanted to give it up. My only concern: Would I get the instant access to heat or to off. This stove top does all of that & more. Even cooking with my wok is a dream. Easy to clean as well.

If you love saving time cooking and boiling water in less than 3 minutes, this unit is for you! Since installation, the stove has worked well. This is the second one we have had. The first one for over 6 years and only replaced due to a broken top mishap. I would recommend this appliance for sure.

First this is guaranteed to fit. The sides are not reinforced with metal properly so they include two extra side brackets you have to install but they will not work with marble or quarts countertops. You have to special order parts. I am not sure how much extra they are going to charge us for those because although they give you a number to call the number tells you have to do everything on-line. I have been in a chat conversation for nearly an hour and I may get a response every 15 minutes. Nothing is resolved and although I gave them the model number and information they keep asking for it over and over. Now in terms of use. My husband did hook it up just to make sure we liked it. The actual burner part that gets hot is very small. If you put water in a pan you can see exactly where the bubbles start. That is the only part that is heating and not the entire burner. Also on two of the burners the heating element is even off center and falls on the left side of the pan leaving the right side cold. On one of the 2 large burners I tried to put a sear on some steaks last night. I used a brand new Smithy 10 inch cast iron skillet. It only heated 6 inches of the skillet and since the skillet was new you can clearly see where it was heated. Tried to post a photo so you could see this but it is not working. I have posted this review at different places so you can see the photo there. As I chat with 'REDEEM' I am writing this review. No response for 30 minutes now. This will be returned by the end of the week.

This is a great stove top, easy to use and great for every day use. My only issue would be that it really doesn't work well if you have big pans, I have a very big cast Iron pan and when I use it, only the center heats up and the sides don't get as hot.

I've been using this cooktop for 4 months now.The induction elements are only the size of the smaller, internal graphics for each burner. So, for example, my 12" cast iron pan only heats in the middle 6" providing uneven cooking.The burners will some times just stop heating. I don't mean throwing an error and turning off, but will just stop heating even though the cooktop says the element is on and functioning.Because of the true element size, the bridge elements have a 6" minimum gap between them that is cooler even when using a cast iron griddle on them. So, it's not really any different than having 2 smaller pans on them.One time, the larger element got so hot it actually caused my carbon steel wok to get glowing, literally, Red hot.The documentation doesn't document the error codes. So, you have to google to figure out what is wrong with the stovetop when you get errors, which happens often.

From the first touch to present, anything but premium. It looks great, but the installation tech said the buttons didn™™t work because he had ™fat fingers™ but the reality is the buttons just don™™t work. Most of them take several touches to respond, the timer does t work at all most of the time (we™™ve only ever gotten it to work once), and the lock button has never responded.It™™s really quite bad for a premium appliance.

We love our 5 burner cooktop, although there was a learning curve. Heat is controlled by touching 2 places to turn on a burner, then sliding a finger for heat control. Biggest challenge was making popcorn because every time the pan was lifted to shake, the burner turned off! When the pot was returned to the burner, it did turn back on. I found that by also using a higher temperature, I didn't have unpropped kernels. We also bought a special disc that allows the use of non-magnetic pans, but it didn't work for popcorn or boiling vegetables in a stock pot. Luckily, most of our pans work with induction cooking. We really like the sleek look of the Gallery cooktop in our kitchen remodel and look forward to trying the bridge burners with a paella pan.

Our induction cooktop hasn™™t worked since it was installed in May. After 2 warranty repair visits we are waiting on a third (yes, it has taken this long to get 2 visits from someone) with no end in sight. Frigidaire refuses to replace it still. Infuriating to not have the stove working for 6 months in a new kitchen. You go in circles with them, no resolutions.

While the cooktop does look nice, there are some major drawbacks.The burner sizes demarcated on the stove itself are largely overstated. The actual heat source is much smaller on each burner than is specified and the combo griddle burner does not have any heat source connecting the two burners so it becomes two hot spots with no power in between. The controls are sensitive so that if any water gets on them while you are cooking the stove power to all burners shuts off (this can happen simply from condensation from a pot lid dripping on the control area. If I had paid closer attention and noticed these things at the time of purchase I would have returned it.

Well, I had an electric cooktop (yuk) that came with the house. I have always loved gas cooktops but it would be very expensive to convert. I have always wanted an induction cooktop and years ago I purchased metal pans (in anticipation of eventually getting an induction) and the time is here! I have only had it a week but love it so far. It cleans up nicely, looks great, and cooks evenly.

We could not simply install the cooktop to replace our gas stovetop. We needed to have major electric work done in order to make it work, and it took a few weeks before that was completed. The cooktop hums when it's running. It takes a long time for it to heat our food- it took almost half an hour just to boil some eggs. We might need different cookware, or I will ask Frigidaire to review the installation. At least our gas bill is lower, and we have solar to help with our electric bill.
