I love the way this cooktop cooks, but this is a replacement I had to purchase because a pepper mill fell on my cooktop and broke the glass. I would expect cooktop glass to be more sturdy. I purchased a wooden cooktop cover to prevent this from happening again, but now I don™™t get to see my pretty stove top. My first cooktop was only 4 years old.

We've been using our new cooktop for several weeks now and its performance has been great. I bought this model Feb 2024. We got a crack in it I believe because our glass oil carafe tilted over on it.However, it wasn't a big fall because we didn't notice anything until later. The 2 burners on the other side stopped working, E4 error, a few months after that but the warranty won't cover their repair without the crack being fixed out of pocket which is over $500. Very disappointed. We are going to probably just buy a new cooktop.

First of all, it looks great in our kitchen space. This is our first induction cooktop and there is a learning curve with it. Many of our beloved pots didn't work with induction. We've had the stovetop for 3 weeks and use it almost daily. I love that it heats up quickly (it boils a big pot of water in under 2 minutes!) and cuts down on cooking time. The burners will turn itself off if the pan is removed from the burner for more than 5 seconds. After use, the burner cools down really fast. Over all, we're pretty happy with it. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the stovetop has turned itself off in the middle of cooking and I have yet to figure out why that happens.

I was really excited to get this cook top- nice options for burners, fit in my space and had the look I wanted. My disappointment lies in the fact that the heating elements don™™t come close to covering the outlines rings in the cook top surface. You will be hard pressed to get anything to boil outside the 6 inch inner circle. It has very uneven cooking and I feel pretty cheated.

Induction cooktop works well but I am very disappointed about the "Fit Promise" claim. At "Best Buy" where I purchased the 30" cooktop I was made aware of the Fit Promise and not to worry about not fitting the existing cutout on the old 30" cooktop. Come to find out after I wanted to send the claim form in that this promise doesn't apply to replacing an old gas 30" cooktop with a Frigidaire 30" induction cooktop. At the store it did not mention anything that it had to be the same, gas or induction. Now I am out of $300 for the countertop modification. Very disappointing as this promise is highly misleading, just to make the initial sale and is not very consumer friendly.

Absolutely useless cooktop. We had this model installed by our builder and by now cooktop has ruined most of our cookware. On top of this the cooktop automatically lowers drawing if current, this prevents cooking things like roti or even toasting many pieces if bread on skillets. On reporting this it was called as safety feature which is clearly wrong as all other cooktops in the world do not do this. Don™™t waste your money on this cooktop

This is my first induction cooktop ever. So far it has been great. They heat up very fast but there is a learning curve. I love how it will indicate that pot or pan is compatible before it would turn on. It also has a bridge feature for griddle which is awesome for making breakfast. Only thing I wish the designers would do and not sure if it™™s possible is to make the slider on the power some groves so we can fell when we are trying to set from 4 to 6, small increment. Overall, it™™s a great product for the value.

I hesitated for three years before finally pulling the trigger on an induction cooktop. I had read review after review; some were good, others bad. I was also not interested in buying all new cookware, as mine was only three years old. Once I found out my cookware was induction-ready I then researched Induction Cooktops. Time after time Frigdaire was at the top of the list. I am in love with this cooktop and have not experienced any problems. Going from radiant cooking to induction was a smooth process. The learning curve for me was the temperature settings. Once you have that down, you are golden. I can't recommend this cooktop enough.

Figure 8 in the installation manual is not correct. The retainer brackets are too long for the bottom of the cooktop to sit on the bracket. Instead there is a 1/2 inch gap. To be safe I added brackets to support the bottom of the cooktop.

I™™ve been on a mission to improve indoor air quality and lower my carbon footprint. This cooktop did both. I am really enjoying my new induction cooktop. I had a 30YO electric coil cooktop that had become unreliable. I do not like how ceramic cooktop heat, and it was going to be costly to go gas, so I took the plunge with induction. The Frigidaire induction cooktop was a good price and could be installed with minor granite mods. The cooktop is performing very well, and is a dream to clean! I wish the layout of burners was a little different. The bridge ™rectangular™ element is not that useful to me. The two big elements are too close together with a 6qt pot and a 10 inch fry pan. I think I would have preferred the traditional layout.

I have been using the new cooktop for almost a week. It is amazing how quickly a pot of water comes to a boil! It does take some getting used to on how quickly it heats a pan, so I have to remember that my food prep needs to be done first instead of doing while I am waiting for a pan to heat, like I used to do.

Purchased at Lowes. Installation was a chore as it was not a simple drop-in replacement for my 60 year old, smaller cooktop. Installation instructions were clear. One plus was that it required only a 30 amp 220V hookup, the same as my old cooktop.Operators manual is clearly written. Thus far all of the features work as described.Given the 1-star ratings where there have been problems, the delays in getting repairmen out and the dramatically long delays in receiving repair parts, my hope is I do not have a service problem. The poor reviews for repairs is not what is expected from Frigidaire, a company I have always associated with quality.
