This is the worst stove I have every owned. The grates are extremely heavy. You cannot remove the side grates unless you remove the middle one. They are very rough. When you are cleaning the stove the burners fall off easily. I had no choice as this is what the builder gave you with an upgrades kitchen

Still new and barely used it yet, but so far it works fine and nice to look at. it gives the appearance of a professional cooktop. Note that the grates are higher, and as a short person, I had to adjust to try to see in the pan at that height.

I have never been more disappointed in a company and a product. I recently had a brand new home built and the builder put in all Frigidaire Gallery appliances. While they are nice looking the cooktop is a defective product and I would not recommend it. The surface coating streaks with any drop of anything on it. I have tried the stainless steel cleaner as recommended by customer service and it made it worse. I tried vinegar, soap and water, baking soda and the streaks are permanent. The company says it is cosmetic and had to be reported within 30 days of install. Well this is a new build and I was not in the home the first 30 days.Here is the best part. While trying to get this resolved to no avail we discovered a glitch in the system and my appliances were registered as of 2001 instead 2024 like they should have been. Only a supervisor can fix and I have called at least a dozen times and have been put on hold for over 40 minutes then disconnected Never have received a call back to fix these dates. I am beside myself and this company is very poor and I would change out all these appliances for Kitchen aid as soon as my warranty period is over. I am so discouraged

The 5 burner 36" cooktop is ideal for cooking 2 to 3 large dishes at a time. The gas control knobs are sturdy and easy to use. The stainless steel surface is very easy to clean.

Awaiting delivery of the 5th right side grate in 1.5 months of ownership. I™™ve had 3 days of a functioning cooktop and after multiple attempts to contact customer service the online customer support offered a 20% discount on the purchase of another one since it™™s over the 30 day non functional part. Hopefully this one will not arrive broken also (as per a live conversation) The stainless steel scratches easily even cleaning as per instructions in the manual. Looks great initially but not satisfied with this cooktop from a company that once set the standard for quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction. I left a review previously via a different link in hopes that someone would at a minimum reach out in an attempt to remedy this issue and have yet to hear back.

Totally disappointed with this product and customer service. First right grate broke within 3 days of delivery and scratches appeared on the stainless steel surface. Received a replacement grate a few days later and it cracked in two places after one use. Third grate arrived a few days later and was cracked out of the shipping container. Requested another replacement and was told a service representative would come to investigate what the problem could be. Received grate #4 for this unit the day before service call and allowed him to open the box. It also was broken. Received text that follow up service was canceled due to unavailability of the grate for second service call. Attempted follow up call to service representative and received an out of office recording. After spending several hours trying to reach customer service and being disconnected multiple times I attempted the online chat option only to be told that a non functioning part is only under warranty for 30 days and was offered a 20% discount to purchase another. The longest time I have had a unbroken grate was the initial 3 days after delivery, the remaining time has been either waiting for the replacement and awaiting service representative to verify issues. Although it is a beautiful cooktop, the stainless steel seems of low quality and scratches easily when using only soapy water and a microfiber cloth and the grates seems to have a manufacturing issue that should be resolved. Currently not using the right side due to safety concerns concerning possible collapsing of the grate causing severe burns. Awaiting grate #5 for the unit after finally getting contact and assured that another replacement will be expedited.

So far this cooktop is a big improvement over my Dacor. The front locatation of the control knobs is very convenient and the LED lighting is a useful feature. The grates are very heavy duty and easy to slide pots and pans on. The burners on the left side make it easy for me to use my rectangle griddle.Very happy !

Cooktop looks nice and is working well. Only complaint is the quality of the metal/stainless steel is pretty low. It™™s super thin and appears to scratch easily. Nowhere near the thickness of the 15 year old GE one that it replaced. Not surprised tho as the quality of most things has declined since 2020.

The new Frigidaire gallery cooktop gives the Mitch a new updated look. It has the look of a professional range at a fraction of the cost. It is easy to cook on, the large grates make it a little higher which is easier on my back when standing at the stove stirring something. I am very pleased.

We bought this stainless steel heavy duty drop in cooktop to replace our 12 year old 36™ Kitchen Aid cooktop. The new cook top stopped in and assembled easy. I installed it myself (make sure you get the new gas kit on Amazon or where ever you buy your stove - you need to replace the compression fitting IMO). We thought the lit buttons were a gimmick (who cooks in the dark, right) but now we live it because it tells you when the mob is turned and burner is on. Love it. The grates are heavy duty and HEAVY. Some may need help lifting them for cleaning. However they™™re great looking and don™™t lower the heat or cause issues. NOTE and TIP - if installing in to granite or other stone counter you may need the $150 lot. I didn™™t know this. Luckily I saw what the kit included and had similar brackets. If you™™re having an installed out it in, they should be familiar with the tricks of the trade.

This is a fantastic cooktop. We replaced our 15 year old cooktop Gallery cooktop with this new Gallery model. It was a great addition to our kitchen and it did not disappoint. My husband was not a fan of the front controls at first but after using the stove he was sold, he likes the cooking space and the efficiency of this unit.

The reason I gave 4 star is because my first cooktop had some issues in the fittings and I had to replace this. But I like the cooktop because it is super easy to use and safe to operate. I like the design as well. On top of this I like the customer service because they replaced the whole unit without any difficulty in the procedure.

After some time shopping, this unit is priced more reasonable than other units on the market. A big plus for me is that this unit is the most shallow than others on the market (2 7/16™) since my countertop installation was located over two working drawers. Plenty of room on top for pots and pans. Love the LED back lighted control dials.

The cooktop grates are so heavy that my wife can't remove them for cleaning the stainless. The grates profile is 4 times higher than previous product that cooking in large pots is difficult for her. Wife cannot use this cooktop.
