I like the cooktop™™s spread - five burners packaged in 30™ and provides excellent options for different sized pans. Easy to operate - lighted buttons gives visual indication when any burner is left on by mistake (by kids or others). The only complaint I have is that the grates are extremely heavy and not easy to clean.

Thanks to all of the stellar reviews of this frigidaire product I wont be buying anything with this name on it, I was seriously considering buying this cook top but the responses from this companies customer service dept. are at best disingenuous and at worst outright lies, why would anyone pay 800 plus dollars and receive broken junk at your door and then hear this kind of crap from these people? chipping grates, broken grates, scratches all over the item because they dont know or care to ship correctly, gas leaks, grates you cant clean in a sink or dishwasher, and after that to argue and plead with the warranty people about replacement? not me. thanks to the warnings from these folks I will be shopping elsewhere.

Great product, love it, however, 2 minor issues, 1 the little red rubber gasket under the dials to turn the burner on and off have not lasted at all. I need to / trying to get my builder to get new ones. The next step is calling for warranty service. The second item, the steel grates that the pots and pans sit on need to have improved black paint. When you move the pans, the paint comes off. These are small items but they can be annoying give the price paid. With that said, ?I would buy the Gas Cooktop again. It is elegant looking.

What a wonderful upgrade to my kitchen! I cannot think of a single thing I do NOT love about this appliance! The continuous grates are extremely helpful and a great safety feature. I never thought you could buy a 30™ cooktop with five burners until I began researching what was available. My old cooktop had porcelain coated cast-iron grates which began chipping off within a year or so. It made it look old and cheap. The illuminated knobs look great and I love the fact they are situated right up front (where they belong). The massive grates elevate the overall look as well. If you are considering buying this cooktop, DO IT!

We debated for a while about upgrading our 4 burner to a 5 and we searched around for the best product at the best price and the Frigidaire topped our list. Not only does it look great it™™s got a 18,000 btu quick boil and a 5,000 btu simmer. They also have a fit guarantee with up to $100 reimbursement. (which you don™™t need if you know how to use a measuring tape). This was a perfect fit, they recommend a professional to install (because of the gas) but I was very capable of installing and checking for gas leaks prior to firing it up. My wife loves it, she™™ll randomly rub her hand across it and say ™ did you my beautiful new stovetop™There are many others to choose from, some a lot cheaper than this one but also cheaper quality. I bought it because it™™s great brand name that make quality products, it™™s got a great review ratings, the price was very comparable to other big name companies, it packs some great features, the installation instructions (I viewed prior to purchasing) were very straightforward and detailed, and of course because it looks Fabulous.We definitely love and recommend it to anyone looking for a great stovetop.

I got this cooktop to swap out my old Whirlpool four-burner gourmet model that I've had for nine years. The price was reasonable, and it has pretty much all the features I wanted. It comes with five burners, including a big middle one, makes great use of the cooking area, has interlocking grill racks, and is super easy to clean.As an added touch it also has LED burner selectors. Con: the clamps didn't work under my stone counter top because of the original rough cutout.

This is the first time we have owned a gas cooktop. Cannot believe how fast you can boil water compared to electric. We had to remodel our whole kitchen because of a water leak. We wanted to upgrade our 23 yr old GE 4-burner stovetop, and already having a Frigidaire Gallery Microwave/vent hood went with this to match.It does look nice (if bulky due to height over countertop), the metal knobs seem sturdy and the burners put out even, finely adjustable flame. however there are several design misses that make me wish I'd gone with another stovetop:1) the massive cast iron grates must be lifted completely off to clean underneath. Some competitors have a hinge on the rear edge which would make clean up much easier. FYI the center grate must be removed before left or right, unlike the directions which says the center grate gets set first.2) The top of the grates is 3" above the countertop. Our old GE had recessed burners so the grates (not cast iron) were only 1" above. This means no leaning a utensil on edge of a pan, and tall pots are uncomfortably close to the hood for stirring/ladling. 3) like other reviews on Amazon mine arrived damaged due to a packaging oversight by Frigidaire. The burner caps were taped onto the surface, and sure enough the tape holding the biggest center cap failed and the sharp underside of the ca scratched the black enamel surface. So stupid of Frigidaire not to wrap these in foam and put alongside the stovetop in the box. There's plenty of space.Anyway rather than reject the shipment and have Fedex take it back I decided we can live with it.For $700+tax it's by no means a cheap unit. Hopefully will work fine it'll just be a bear to clean under the grates.

Well made cooktop! Easy to install. Dimensions were a little smaller than previous cooktop cutout and had to shore up the edges around with 2x2's but that was straight-forward. Better than needing to cut out the counter to make it wider. Burners are good. Varible control and the center burning heats up big pots easily. Having the iron grates on top break down into 3 pieces makes it easy to clean. Also like that it lights up around each knob when turned on. You know at a glance one is running.

Installed new 30" Frigidaire Gas Cook-top 2 weeks ago and we love it. Great looking & cooks great with 5 burners of different BTU ratings. Especially like the large center burner that heats up water extremely fast. Also like that the grate surfaces are flat so pots/skillets can be easily move from one location to another. As others have mentioned, the grates are VERY heavy, but once removed, the cook-top is easily cleaned.Only con is the hold-down brackets which are very difficult to use. I had to discard one and fabricate a new one.

Had to get this sight unseen. At first I was a little intimidated because it™™s very robust but, it™™s grown on me. The cook top surface is flat and reliable. The pressure canner works good on the large area (most burners that arnt flat are too small to hold the large heavy canners) and the rest of the burners what you expect/ want. Converting to propane was easy and safe. Would recommend.
