I actually enjoy the slow wind up of compressor ! With the inverter there is no kicking on and off of the compressor and of course that saves Ta and sleep time with no excessive noise as it cycles up and down!

I have two entrances to my living room and was a bit worried that one Ac would not be enough to cool the room down but this AC has not only cooled down the living room pretty well but is working great. No need for another one or any fans to be running at the same time. Great investment.

Works well, is fairly quiet, cools quickly. Ordered this model from Home Depot and received it broken. Tried to return it just over 1 week later and they wouldn™™t take it back or exchange it. Finally on the 4th try, very helpful online chat customer service rep facilitated return. Ordered from Wayfair. It works! Don™™t like have to use app for certain feature(s). App sends info on your use to the company™"can™™t find way too opt out of that and still be able to use app features.

Love this new unit. It is very quiet and cools quickly. We use it for the main bedroom as we like it cold when sleep rather than cooling the whole house. I especially like the app that allows me to turn on a control the AC from my cell phone. I can have the room cooler off and ready before I even head toward that portion of the house.

My first inverter AC purchase

This inverter unit was purchased to replace a 19 year old Kenmore 8000 Btu AC that had finally gotten too noisy to allow me to sleep. So far no problems. When I want to have a steady fan sound when sleeping i set the fan to a fixed speed (low). Otherwise i have been letting the AC do its thing on the auto setting during the day. Since the compressor ramps slowly it is pretty quiet. I have not heard any case or window rattles so far. To be on the safe side because of the Inverter i chose to get the 3 year warranty. I also chose to use the optional pleated filter right from the start. Every Ac I have ever owned has needed vigorous evaporator cleaning every several years, hoping this filter helps with that.

I had an LG 12000 BTU Air Conditioner that was over 20 years old. When new I am sure it was pretty good. But the new Frigidaire 10,000 BTU will be more efficient, and I would use it more because it works better. I did a lot of research so I selected a smaller BTU capacity with the intention to mostly have it on the Dry setting; a lower BTU unit will cycle more when on the Dehumidify setting. And a lower humidity makes a higher room temperature comfortable. So even using it more often I figure I will still be saving money on the electric bill. Also cool is I applied for a $400 rebate from my Electric Company that is for Energy Star appliances only. Since I got the rebate the Air Conditioner will only cost me a net $50 dollars since my total cost to do it myself was about $450.

The worst product and customer service

Unit stopped working after an EH06 error code, the app also stated that there was a problem with the controls. The unit is 7 weeks old, mind you there is a heat advisory for the next week here, they are waiting 3 days to try and find a technician that will service a small window unit a/c since they have no technician listed. Then initiate a replacement, no regard for health and safety of my family. Frigidaire has terrible policies and customer service. I would never recommend any of their products to anyone.
