I think it's a nice looking cooktop and in the very short time I have used it 4 times. So it's really not enough time to get a real feel for the cooktop or if it has issues. Why not wait until after the warranty is over to ask for a review? Probably because the company knows that the sales would be much lower. Because consumers would have time to experience any known or unknown failures. If I win the 3k sweepstakes being offered for this review. I will definitely update but it won't change the outcome of my honesty experience of the performance of the cooktop.

Quick boil doesn™™t boil! Had an technician out and replaced heating element, still didn™™t work properly then put the blame on my uneven pots. My cooktop is still under warranty but not doing me any good!

Our old GE cooktop was dying burner by burner, so we purcahsed this one, mainly because it fit the dimernsions of our existing counter cutout. The installation was simple; the hardest part was reaching to make the electical connections in the junction box under the counter. Since Fidgidaire did not include a gasket to fit between the cooktop and the counter, we purchased a foam rubber insulation strip at Home Depot. I suggest you do the same, so that food and liquid will not get under the cooktop. Also, there are no instructions in the manual on how the Quick Boil feature works. One thing we discovered is that the numbering system on the knobs runs about two levels higher than on our old GE, so that setting the knob to a 3 on this unit is the same as setting the GE to a 5. The result was that we burned some items until we adjusted to the hotter burners. The cooktop is attractive, we are happy with our purchase.

I like this cooktop. I like that you can clearly see the burners are on by looking at them in addition to the indicator light being lit. I'm replacing an older unit in the house, and the new cooktop updates the kitchen nicely.

Really like my new cooktop. Looks and works great.All good. One wish - that after you finish with one burner that you can see a light that the burner is still hot and cooling down. There is one light for all 4 burners to show cooling is happening. But if you have a couple others cooking longer and then shutdown, it's difficult to tell which burner is cooled while others still cooling, or still hot.And maybe dial knobs are more helpful if placed at the bottom of cooktop, not on the right.I still love it lots! Thank you.

The quick boil element is only for boiling on large setting! 1 is ok for very slow cooking, anything over that will burn your food, the other increments for this burner are useless on large element. I've read through all manuals I could find, searched the internet, and stayed on hold for an hour until I had enough to try to see if there is something to be done about this. This cooktop is good if you only want a large element in the back, and 3 other small elements. I have a large family and small burners don't cook dinner. This is not what I was looking for at all, I will be seeking a refund.

Have only used 3-5 times now, but, I am able to clean the surface and leave it looking shiny and streak free using the techniques and cleaner fluid recommended in the instructions provided. I also used a razor scraper to remove a stain that, at first, appeared to be a scratch. Turned out the "scratch" was just a very thin layer of dried beef broth.

My old dishwasher was 16 years old and noisy. It did a decent job of cleaning dishes but I felt it was nearing its life expectancy.The new Frigidaire dishwasher works very well and is a lot quieter. I feel it was the right move and a very good choice.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. If you are considering this cooktop, PLEASE MOVE ON. It replaced 18 yr old Kenmore/GE that was so much easier to maintain. I am very careful when moving pots and all pots have smooth bottoms. After 2 wks of use and cleaning EVERY DAY with provided cleaner/wax, it has very fine hairline cracks in the finish. Frigidaire must have used thin-ist possible coating they could get away with. Also, EVERYTHING that splashes or spills (including plain water) leaves a mark that requires cleaner and a lot of elbow grease to remove. I absolutely despise this appliance. Looks like it will be replaced way before it should be. I over-research everything. I selected it because the cutout opening was closest I could find without major re-fabrication of granite.

We have only had the cooktop about two weeks. The overall function of the cooktop seems ok thus far. We have no children in our home and, although we cook, it's not excessive. We have been careful not to slide cookware on the surface, but the it already has a "hazy" spot that cannot be removed with the provided cleaner. We keep an organized, clean kitchen. This black cooktop must be washed, cleaner used & buffed after every use.
