I refinished our floor and had to float some low spots. This caused my opening to be smaller than most standard dimensions for most dishwashers. This fit my space well, easy to install, level, and so far it's been running well and cleaning well. It's also quiet and looks great. If you need more adjustability for an odd size opening, this is a great option.

The Frigidaire 24" FFBD2420UB dishwater is finished in black which matches our other appliances. Many manufacturers are now making "black stainless steel" appliances which actually do not match older black appliances. This unit runs very quietly and we are very pleased with it.

I think the dish racks are poorly designed. It is difficult to keep bowls upright so they get cleaned properly. Not many full size dishes will fit unless they are too close together to get clean. The silverware basket doesn't hold enough silverware and is elevated in the dish rack so that no tall utensils can be put in it. It takes 1 hr. 40 min. to a cycle. That's too long. All the save the planet that has been forced on you had the opposite effect. It takes longer to clean the dishes and not as many can be cleaned so the dishwasher has to be run more often.

This dishwasher is the worst one I've ever owned its cleaning is terrible I have to rewash the pots by hand to clean them. I even put it on the heavy wash cycle and they still come out with food residue stuck to them.

The dishwasher works well but I hate to say both the upper and lower rack suck I spend more time trying to fit stuff. I had a Frigidaire gallery dishwashers before and it was great wish I would have kept the old rack from it but it probably wouldn't fit anyway.

I just purchased the model FFBD2420UB. I already regret my decision. The tines on the racks are short and loading the lower rack is difficult. The dishes do not stack properly and there is very little flexibility. The dishwasher does clean the dishes, however. I wish I could return the dishwasher or buy a different lower rack.

This dishwasher cleans well, which of course is the intended function of a dishwasher. The settings are easy to operate for all types of dishes. My issue is with the racks. They are difficult to arrange the dishes into. I am working with it and I suppose I will get used to it with time, but as of right now, I am frustrated with the racks. I don't even have this dishwasher installed yet and I ABSOLUTELY HATE it. I tried to talk to our local Lowes but they have a 48 hour return window and the day we picked it up we have pickup trouble and the dishwasher sat on the back of the pickup for three days at my brother's house so I didn't even get a chance to look it over. The racks are designed so stupid that you can't even put glass glasses in, the prongs are only an inch or 1 1/2 inches high at the most. The silverware rack is so huge and it sits right in the middle of the dishwaher that you can't even put in larger bowls. I have tried to exchange it as it has not even been used yet but I cannot get any help. I won't be buying this brand anymore if I can't get this resolved.

I was initially excited to get my new dishwasher. I was not able to view it in store due to no stock at anywhere. Once it was delivered and we installed, the quality was disappointing. The top rack design is poor to say the least. Glasses fall over due to rack space not dep enough prongs not tall enough to hold the glasses, utensil rack very flimsy. I would love to receive a new top rack with BETTER design.

This dishwasher came with the house we purchased. It was like new (probably due to the older homeowner not using much) and so we decided to use it for our family as it didn't seem necessary to replace a practically new dishwasher. I feel like I am fighting with the racks more than not. If I don't put plates in just so, they still come out with stuck on food - it's almost like the tines are too close together in the plate area. The top rack doesn't give much option for glasses. The center placement of the basket is awful as it's always in the way when trying to put in bigger items like bowls. I also do not like that in order to do the heavy load option, I have to have the heated dry on (I choose not to use this as I have kids who give no cares where they put plastic and I don't want it melted). I would never pay full price for this unit, there are superior dishwashers on the market for the same or less. All that said, if you seem to have the magic touch with loading it, it does seem to do a decent job of washing the dishes.

I am not happy with this dishwasher. The lower tray is designed poorly. The silverware holder is situated in the middle and takes up too much space, The space between plate holders is way too small ( too close together and the whole tray holds less than normal. The heat dry option does not work. I would like a different one.

I really like the stainless steal inside. Helps dampen the sound a bit. When it's running in the wash cycles, it sounds like a gentle rain. Kinda nice. Works great with thin dishes, but thicker dishes (like Fiesta) don't fit well.

Does a great job of washing. My only problem is finding a place to put my glasses and cups. They don't seem to have a place to fit without being supported by other glasses and cups. I prefer to not have anything touch each other. The top rack is a terrible design for me. The lower rack needs longer pins to more securely hold and separate the dishes.

So disappointed in this dishwasher from my last one which had lasted 16 years. It is the loudest dishwasher I've ever heard. My last dishwasher had room for pre-wash soap and wash soap - you can only use a little soap and while it cleans well for the most part, my silverware sometimes comes out dirty still. The trays you pull in and out are so flimsy and the way they are lined up for dishes isn't great either. Its not like the machine was cheap either, we paid almost $800 for it. Oh well.

Dishwasher is a little small. The top rack needs taller spikes to hold items better. The bottom tray comes off the rails too easy and one of the wheels hits the black seal (I had to take thdishwasher. As a result) when you push it back into the dishwasber.

We bought this model on name brand and the fact they had it in black to replace and old model. It washes dishes fine. The upper rack does not have good placement for smaller bowls. On the bottom rack the 2nd from rear roller always catches the seal which makes it very awkward to close. I would not buy this model again. I would buy a Frigidaire again.
